We had the best sever ever - Kat! Kat was amazing she was there meeting our needs before we realize we needed something! However, the food was not what we expected. The presentation was great but the taste was average. We ordered four appetizers and drinks. The frozen drinks were good. The vegan rolls, kimchi fries, scallops, and B____ dip. All were not seasoned well. The dip was good...would have been a great soup with a little more heat. The kimchi was great but more was needed on the fries with a dash of sea salt and a little less sauce. The vegan rolls were average I remove the mint because it competed with the sauce... it did not compliment the roll. My friend had the scallops. He said they were not real scallops. Our ticket was $68... of course more with the tip. We didn't receive what we expected when we decided to eat at Spice but we did receive AAA service! Our experience was by far better than the meal. Man I don't like writing these reviews but I had to. Cheyanne was a shining example of customer service when I called to see if they had dine in available. You could hear her smile through the phone. It was packed so we were seated at a two top in the bar and requested first available on the rooftop patio. You know how the hostess never comes back when you make that request? Cheyanne came back and moved us upstairs! So nice so accommodating and so happy to work for the folks who own the restaurant (haven't met them but apparently really great people). Upstairs we had a beautiful view and met Melissa and Sully. Smiles and genuine happy engagement abound. This is a gem. Oh! The food kicks absolute GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLS!!!! The manager Austin checked in multiple times to make sure the experience was right, and the bar manager Calvin was helpful and knowledgeable about the drink selections. Located in Kingsley, which is awesome. Easy to get to, good environment. The food was amazing. We had 7 different appetizers and lots of cocktails. Standouts were the pork buns and pot stickers, and asian pear martini and orange crush. The Bulgolgi was amazing. By far, the best thing about this restaurant though was the service. We had a party of 9 for a birthday party, including a toddler, and we were so well taken care of by Kloe. She was attentive and friendly... Can't go a month without enjoying apps and drinks from Spice. Personal favorites are the tuna crisps and gyoza. Service is always personable and professional. Not a quite place for dinner as the acoustics are not the best, but the rooftop is a great getaway in the summer/ warmer days. read more

Coming to the Carolinas from South Florida and our family member recommended this place! From beginning to end this place was amazing!! The service from our waiter, Clyde, was phenomenal. All of his recommendations were 10/10 and super delicious. The coconut margarita served in a fresh coconut was delicious and strong! The fried rice and short rib were just amazing as well. It's not that it was not good I just don't think the fish is for me. It was good but I think I would have enjoyed the Pad Thai more. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Pretty restaurant in the new Kingsley area in Fort Mill. Not busy on a Tuesday night we were seated quickly downstairs. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I'm giving 3 stars because the appetizers were great but our mains were just okay. We shared the tuna crispy bites, KFC wings and dumplings. The wings were the best part of our meal, hands down. Definitely order those! We ordered a couple of drinks; my blackberry cocktail was delicious. The Collins cucumber/strawberry smash could've been better. Seems like the menu consists of raw tuna, raw salmon, bulgogi beef and pulled pork in different iterations. The tacos were not very flavorful; I wouldn't recommend those. Delicious Asian Cuisine and Fast Service. Also had the absolute best Server, Tatum! First time I was here, and we went quite early and were the first ones in the place. We started with Szechuan dumplings. Just perfect filled with Chicken, 5 in all. Could have had 3 more orders!! but then had the Pork Belly Bao's Two stuffed Bao's with perfectly cooked Pork Belly, not all fat, A nice Condiment tray with different sauces is also brought to the table. Next, we had Spicy Tuna Rice Crisps! I adored these. Crisped Rice Bottoms covered with Tuna Poke. Such a unique way to serve Poke, and I adored the tuna being chopped. We had the Bulgogi, served in a traditional way with a fried egg on the top. Very flavorful meat. We drank two of the Mocktails, the Mashed fruit drinks, A Strawberry Mint and a Ginger Lemon. Quoc, and all the Staff at Spice Asian Kitchen not only met our expectations but went Above and Beyond! It happened to be a Perfect Spring Day and we were able to have it Outdoors on their Rooftop. We started out with Appetizers that were Absolutely Delicious, the Salmon Tacos, Szechuan Dumplings and KFC wings.. After appetizers, our guest were given a choice of Entrees, they all came out on Time and hot, not an easy task when Serving 20 people and having different orders. I highly recommend Spice Asian Kitchen for all you Catering and Party Gatherings you will not be disappointed!! We came here because of the Yelp reviews and proximity to Carowinds. We all ordered the Bulgogi burger. At first bite, it was just ok, but as we got to the last bite, the flavors changed and was really good. Also the lemongrass vinaigrette was delicious. This place is getting 5 stars because they check ALL the boxes. Food was great and so was the service. It's an Asian fusion restaurant but it's 2 steps above Hawkers. I had the Szechuan Dumplings and the crispy rice tuna app. My fiancé had the drunken noodles and he loved them. Keep in mind the "small plates" aren't so small. I am a fan after having dined here. Their cocktails and food are on point soo freakin delecious..a couple girlfriends and me went on a cold Saturday night and although we didn't make any reservations we still got seated immediately!! A server greeted us shortly and I couldnt wait to order my coconut marg.. drinks are strong and worth the price. Tuna crisps and dimsums are my fav apps and for entree i loved the curry. Spice was a great addition to Fort Mill. I almost always get the curry, and summer rolls for appetizer. It's crowded on weekends but wait isn't too bad...better to make a reservation unless you're okay sitting in bar area (which I usually do since I'm a party of 1). Lunch: 09.26.2019 Had a craving for some Asian food and thought of Spice located in Kingsley. Kingsley is a newer area in Fort Mill that has several great restaurants, businesses, apartments and a hotel. Great little area to get exercise, lunch, your nail/hair done and grab a drink. Today we decided to head to Spice for lunch. Wanted something tasty and good without the long wait. With the day being beautiful, we decided to sit out side on the second floor. Great view of the Kingsley neighborhood and the a slight breeze makes it just perfect. So my colleague and I must have been hungry. We decided to choose two appetizers. The Roti Canai and the dumplings. The Roti Canai was okay. I've had many types and home made Roti Canai from Malaysian to Indian restaurants. It usually has a slight crisp but ours was a big soggy. The Roti Canai is accompany with curry sauce and to me it was not thick enough. The thickness of the curry sauce is really needed in order to eat the Roti Canai. Typically, I'm use to receiving a piece of Chicken and potato or vegetable in the curry sauce. Barely anything with the curry sauce. The Szechuan dumplings were amazing with a slight kick with the chili oil. Definitely a recommend to try both appetizers when you get a chance to visit. For the main course I opted for the Bibimbap. A bibimbap is a hot stone bowl filled with amazing vegetable medley, bulgolgi and fried eggs. Comes with a small bamboo for you to mix all that goodness in the stone bowl all together. Each bite should have a little everything to create a umami taste that will explode in your mouth with every bite. Now if you let the rice sit a bit longer on the bottom - it gets pretty crispy like chips. Now if you like some heat with your bibimbap, it come with kimchi and gochujang sauce. YUMMY!!! My colleague decided to order the Seared Ahi Salad which looked amazing! She finished her plate clean! We definitely did not have any room for sweets or cocktails but all the more reason for us to come back next time. Spice Asian Kitchen is great for everyone all around. Highly recommend and I'm definitely looking forward to going back to try something new. read more
