Honestly absolute everything was amazing. We over ordered because we ordered too much sushi initially. Escolar is phenomenal and their sashimi cuts were also good sized. As well as the ability to customize a roll?! Absolutely sold. Ev turning was beyond expected including our server Jessica! Such great conversation and kindness even outside of how helpful she was about the menu and recommendations!! Love love lovvveeeeee. Will be back soon!

Red Sake surpassed my expectations. After ages of saying "one day," we finally visited one Saturday afternoon. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. It was pretty quiet and dark inside. We ordered appetizers, a dinner plate, and several sushi rolls. My 13-year-old nephew recommended the Robinson roll, which I ordered with some hesitation. But now it's the main reason I'll be coming back. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended.

This was my first time dining at Red Sake and was a great experience from start to finish! My husband and I both enjoyed the sushi ( Ballantyne Roll) and it was outstanding! Friendly and efficient service and beautiful atmos

Good mid tier sushi joint. We went on a Thursday night. Wasn't too busy. Crunchy and Ballantyne roll were great. Edamame and miso soup were good. The Nigiri flight had 3-4 good pieces of traditional Nigiri, yellowtail, salmon, etc. There were two pieces of sushi we hadn't heard of that we didn't like. Service was good. Overall I liked this place and will come back.

This place is sort of hidden as I have lived in this area for a long time and have never been until now! There is more than just sushi as I got the teriyaki chicken and my boyfriend got 2 rolls of sushi. The chicken was great and came out very fresh. Prices are a bit high but that's everywhere these days. Loved the entrees and will be back.

The Luke Lobster Roll is my favorite roll in Charlotte... yes, I said it. Lobster meat, spicy tuna, topped w/ avocado, eel sauce, crunchy sweet potato, tobiko. I had to get the Salmon Lover roll because I'm a salmon lover... It's the perfect simple but delicious roll. Salmon, avocado, topped w/more salmon, jalapeño and spicy mayo. I ordered the Mongolian Beef for my main. Tender stir-fried beef, onion, carrot, and scallions in the BEST spicy sweet brown sauce. There was no Beef vs Scallops here, they were both delicious. If you're looking for a dish lighter on the sauce, this is for you! I am requiring that every piece of cheesecake I have from now on is Tempura fried...

Red sake popped up as an option for Postmates delivery. I had never heard of it but was excited to try it after reading the incredible reviews. We ordered the Singapore noodles, crunchy roll, spicy yellowtail roll and a house salad. Everything was packaged with care and was absolutely phenomenal. I was shocked at how delicious the crunchy roll was bc it had shrimp tempura in it. I thought it might not travel as well for delivery. We did get the sauce on the side for the rolls which makes it perfect for dipping! The salad portion was huge and you can easily split it. The noodles were delicious and we had leftovers there as well. We will definitely be back! Yummy!

I love sushi! I love all kinds of sushi. When we moved to the Carolinas I knew that finding a decent sushi place was an absolute must. Well, I think we have found our new regular. This place really delivers when it comes to fresher tasting sushi. I know, I lived in SoCal where sushi and fresh fish are abounding, but let me just say that the sushi I got here really delivers! I went here twice before I even reviewed it because I wanted to be sure, but it's official, this place has great sushi! I had the Phoenix Roll and a Spicy Tuna Roll. Red Sake is consistently busy, which is always a good sign, and the wait has never been more than 5 minutes even on a busy Friday night. I'll be back again for sure.

My friend and I came here for a late dinner on Thursday. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was very nice and he refilled our water without asking consistently. The reason for my 3 star rating is that a lot of the sushi options had shrimp tempura and/or cream cheese in them. Also, I specifically asked for no sesame seeds on my rolls (and watched the waiter write it down) and there were sesame seeds on my rolls. I don't know, the sushi wasn't bad here, it just wasn't my favorite. My friend also felt the same way.

We were a bit shocked to discover that one of dishes we ordered contained no noodles (we were expecting it to be nothing but noodles). Despite the mix up, there was a shining light throughout the meal that refused to be dimmed... And this lights name was...Walker M. Jacks! Walker Jacks' attention to detail, his dedication to service, and his friendly demeanor were impossible to ignore. I think we can all agree that WJ (Walker Jacks) elevates the dining experience to that of a Michelin Star Restaurant. With Walker Jacks close by, I let go of all the stress from my daily life and knew I was in good hands. If Nothing But Noodles knows what's good for them, Walker Jacks will get an immediate raise. Pretty good size shopping plaza and it's a standalone building. Don't have to walk thru the plaza dealing with people. Park and walk right in. For me, service is what made it just an OK experience. It was a little late for dinner but the restaurant was still open. I understand the side work for closing as I've been in the field before but if you have a table, it should be a focus on the guests not the other way around. There was a mix up on the bill and the annoyance on her face seemed as if she felt it was my fault. But she did fix the issue almost seeming begrudgingly. I'll also mention that I had to flag down other staff for refills, as well as the bill. And you know how it goes - one thing is off and it makes for a forgettable experience. But I will say that dinner was fine. See pics. Can't complain about prices or portions but when I was annoyed, I was just eating to eat. I don't know anyone out here whose tastes for Sushi/Sashimi aligns with mine so it's hard to say whether I'd go back or not. First, obviously I don't live there and second, more places I'd probably want to try before I go back for service like I experienced that night. But it's probably not likely
