Oh gosh, what can I say about this place? I am so excited to tell you that this is probably one of the greatest Indian restaurants I've ever tried in a very long time and let me tell you I ordered around 1:30 AM. This place stays open till 3 AM. The lady at the front desk was so cool and down to earth. She explained the menu to me and told me what the best options were and best sellers were that girl was cool as fuck. The restaurant itself is very very very small. There's a couple few tables to sit at. It's mainly one of those spots where you go and you order to go the thing is is this place is so family owned. They make the food so fresh right then and there so when I walked in at 1:30 and I placed my order. I waited for at least 25 minutes while they were cooking it and it was worth the weight. The spice level was so great. I asked for over five because I love spicy if I can get something even spicier than a five I would probably do a 20 if it was possible lol the flavor of the food was so amazing. I did go out of my way and try a couple different items that I've never tried before and it didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for people who are traveling like me and I travel here to Seattle a lot throughout the year, but this is the first time I've actually experienced staying downtown and having a place that's open that late until three is so convenient for people that are night owls or people that work late. I really think that that's an awesome thing. There are too many fast food restaurants that try to stay open that I just don't really care for but an authentic restaurant like this who's cooking the food right then and there right in front of you made to order that is the type of shit that I love and I will always love and I will definitely 100% become back to this place literally 100% will come back.!

Really big portions! I don't normally eat Indian food but Spice Bliss was flavorful and a good value for what you get. Would be back and hoping to try some of their other popular items :)

First time ordering Indian food by myself and I was a bit intimidated by the extensive menu but I went with something familiar: Chicken Tikka Masala Spice level 3 (to be safe) and a garlic naan. Food came out piping hot and I couldn't help but consistently nod because the food was hitting on that cold rainy Seattle day. The spice was there but still mild and I will increase the level for my preference next time. The portions are huge and I'm writing this review as I eat my second filling meal from this first time order. My only comment is that the chicken breast is a little dry but it won't stop me from coming back. I'm curious about the lamb and paneer as well. Otherwise the curry itself, rice, naan-- were all incredible. I look forward to being a bit more adventurous next time and increasing the spice. Thank you to the kind staff member who was very attentive to making sure I'm enjoying my food.

Fantastic Indian restaurant in Capitol Hill. They have many great options on the menu, but my favorite is the kadai (I like it with fish). The spiciness is great - level 3 has a nice subtle kick. The portions are very large, making the price a great deal! The restaurant is pretty small, with seating available for about 7 people.

Tried the samosas from here recently. They were tasty but on the smaller side for the price. Found it a bit pricey overall. Decent flavor though. I'll revisit my review once I explore more of their menu options.

They TREAT CUSTOMERS BASED ON TIPS⁉ while it should be the other way around. I eat here many time and the nice girl normally there taking orders. But this time probably was my last time to order food from here. I was on my way home from the airport and came in to order a Butter Paneer. The guy that took my order had let me wait for half an hour (even though the store was completely death on a Tuesday midnight) just because I put only $2 in tip. I waited outside as I had my suitcases, and he even put my order under his reception table, so that I wouldn't know it was ready the whole time. Until I came back in the store with intention to cancel it, he got the bag down there and put it on the table???? Doesn't he make it clear that he could have brought the bag to me if I tip more!? And more unexpectedly, my order turned out to be Butter Chicken. I vomited all out after I had the first bite. Feeling so sick the whole night as I'm a vegetarian since I was born. This is morally wrong and I believe business (particularly business people) should have WORK ETHIC.

    Butter chicken

Got the butter chicken with a 5 spice level and it was good! The spice was tolerable and I would stick with a 5 if you can handle the heat. This spot is great to grab a late night bite to satisfy your Indian food craving. The curry was creamy and the chicken was juicy. The entree came with rice which was definitely an added bonus. The garlic naan was a bit dry but soaked in the curry it fixed itself lol. The mango lassi was a bit too sour for my taste but we still finished the whole glass. It was thick yogurt and not enough sugar but if you like the tangyness then you can give it a try!

Queen you walk in you have the option to sit on the backyard patio or in the dining room. We opted to sit in the dining room as it just felt more intimate and the vibe we were wanting for dinner. For our appetizer, we started with the Samosas (Two crispy pastries filled with your choice of freshly mixed vegetables or delicately spiced lean ground beef) which were excellent. Next we ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. The naan and samosas showed up piping hot but the chicken tikka masala & butter chicken were cold. I probably should have said something as I was disappointed but was too hungry to care at that moment. If I'm in the Seattle area I may stop by Taste of India again.

The owner ended up taking a lot of time to chat with us, sharing samples of different dishes--we ordered a few but had been curious about others, and he took the time to tell us a little bit about his background and a little bit of info behind the dishes. We loved everything we ate, though admittedly I was unprepared for how spicy one of the dishes would be. That was the one I planned to bring home for leftovers but my friend was nice enough to read the room and said I could take the more mild dish home and she'd bring the spicy one to her less sensitive husband. It may seem silly, but what I especially loved was the layered, flaky Roti. Finally, the owner treated us to an ice cream dessert. They had many yummy dessert options I'd love to try if I wasn't so full. Overall, I can see why this space has been in Pioneer Square for at least a decade and hope it stays!

This comes with kadhi, sabji (beans and peas), fried cauliflower, sambhar, raita, one naan, rice and sweet dish Seviyan. This was $18. The sambhar and kadhi were excellent, being from Delhi, we are very particular, and I really enjoyed this. The fried cauliflower was a little bland, felt just fried with sauce poured on top. The raita quantity is very small. The naan is not true naan at all, it is just pita. As expected with thali, most items were delicious however a few need improvement and the pita quantity is very less. We also tried the lassi and it was delicious! Ambience: Nice place with a lot of space, especially between tables, ensures privacy. Bathrooms are nice and tidy. For some reason there are a ton of flies in the restaurant and they kept coming around our food. I am not sure why or how because the doors are kept closed. Service: I feel for how popular this place is, it's very understaffed. There is only one server and it look very long for him to take our order. The food itself took a long time to get delivered. Also the tandoor items are not available during lunch time, so it knocks off atleast 4 items from the menu. It was a good Indian place to try, and will try more dishes next time!

We were really hungry and decided to join them as I've had this spot saved too as the reviews were pretty positive. They were definitely very popular but we were put on the waitlist but I think it would be helpful if they took peoples' numbers as apparently they would just shout it outside. We weren't aware as we went somewhere else to wait as it was very cold. When we arrived, a different employee started cleaning a table for us and we waited but then the employee who did put us down was frustrated with us as he called us and no one of us answered cause we were elsewhere. We weren't sure if we had a spot after that but luckily the employee who was cleaning was done and offered that spot. They also did drop a glass cup after cleaning nearby which was concerning but they did clean it up right away. Once we were seated, it took almost a half an hour to get some to take our order. Luckily we did get our water refilled decently but there were a few times where our empty glasses were seen and ignored. I definitely think there should be staff training as it was non-existent. I understand being busy but you're across the convention center so it should be expected. The music was also so low I didn't know it was even on, they have a loud fan going on and even their TVs have no volume. It's a pretty awkward ambiance, especially with how they try to look like they are a upscale restaurant. It did take some time to get food and it seems like the kitchen was frustrated too as I heard the bell signaling food being ready several times. The food was actually good, especially for the price. The portions are generous. We never had paratha but our friend recommended it so we got the aloo paratha while my boyfriend got their butter masala and I got their tikka masala extra hot. It wasn't really spicy at all, definitely nothing like what I've had at other Indian restaurants. The curries were flavorful with good pieces of chicken. We might return if we need something nearby but there are definitely better options that I would walk for.

But Indian-Nepali Kitchen is one of Seattle's most sought-after spots for affordable eats. But don't sleep on the rest of INK's broad menu of South Asian fare -- The Infatuation magazine even considers it to be one of the best restaurants in the city, full stop. INK shares a strip mall with a bodega and nail salon. Black cushioned chairs are pressed up to lacquered wood tables, and the tan walls are decorated with an assortment of cultural tchotchkes. Bollywood music videos play on the main dining room's single flatscreen, while images of Nepali mountain ranges flash on the screen in the accessory dining room. My partner and I dined at INK for weekday dinner on our drive up to the North Cascades, and we had the dining room to ourselves. Only a handful of takeout patrons rolled through during our visit. We kicked off our meal with the Mixed Appetizer. The Vegetable Pakora component was a consensus hit. The rich, crispy bites functioned well on their own and were fun conduits for the fragrant mint sauce and the tart tamarind sauce. In comparison, the samosas were forgettable, sporting overwhelmingly thick shells and hit-or-miss fillings. Of the three varieties, only the earthy ground lamb was worth finishing. Next, we tried the Combo Momo platter. Admittedly, the signature momos were surprisingly mediocre. Across the varieties, the wonton-like Fried Momo was the clear winner with its exciting texture without overpowering the delicate filling flavor. Meanwhile, the standard steamed momos tasted like something out of the frozen section, the Chili Momos were dominated by fast-food-quality sweet-and-sour sauce, and the Sandheko Momos had an unassuming, generally savory curry flavor (which was far outdone by the tangy side of house chutney). For our entree, we were very impressed by the Butter Curry Lamb. The thick curry broth was vibrant and dynamic; we sipped it by the spoonful. The tough lamb felt like an afterthought. The Garlic Basil Bread wasn't particularly basil-y, but the naan slices were pillowy, flaky, and addictively buttery. To drink, we shared an Iced Chai. The tea was more spiced than sweet; the average Starbucks patron might turn their nose up to it, but the light drink was a welcome contrast to the dense entrees. For dessert, we opted for the Gulab Jamun: the ping pong-sized cheese balls were deceptively dense, each packing a rich, syrupy punch. The service was quick and efficient, and our bill worked out to about $75 (after tax and tip). The flavors topped out at very good, but never quite achieved greatness. The portions were generous -- we probably could have done without the momos and still had a satisfyingly hearty meal. For a no-frills meal that will, at a minimum, be tasty, INK is a safe bet.
