It was a little hard to find but tracked it down. There were a few people waiting ahead of me in line, but the wait wasn't too long. I saw the guy take out some of the freshly baked bread and saw how juicy the chicken looked, so I was excited. I got one of the roujiamo sandwiches, which was $6. Great deal and feels so good to get a substantial food item for $6 in NY these days. Really feels next to impossible in 2026. Upon receiving the sandwich, I went across the street and tried to eat it ASAP on the street as other people suggested. The sandwich felt really good in my hands as the bread had just come out. Chicken looked really good and I asked for it to be spicy. I took my first bite and it was pretty amazing. First thing I noticed was how flaky the bread was. Such a pleasant and satisfying texture. The chicken had a lot of flavor and I think there is some cabbage in there. I devoured the rest of the sandwich in about a minute and I was very happy. The sandwich is fairly substantial; might not be enough for a full meal for some people and I treated it more as an appetizer before I went elsewhere for a bowl of noodles. I think this is easily a 5 star establishment. Great value and one of the best ways to spend $6 in NYC.

The chicken is sliced off the spit and continues grilling at the bottom of the spit along with onions. Once the chicken and onions are ready, they're placed into a flaky pocket/bun and served to you hot and fresh. Each chicken "sandwich" is $6. The chicken is very moist and flavorful with the spices and onion. It tastes best eaten hot as soon as you get them. I would highly recommend you give this a try! Excuse me... are you talking to me? Orange tea is my kryptonite! At that point, my legs were already on autopilot toward the register. Then my eyes spot on a promo poster: Free magnet with the purchase of another drink. Say less! This drink absolutely delivered. It struck that perfect balance of sweet, citrusy, and tea-forward flavors stealing the spotlight. One thing to know before you go: this is definitely a grab-and-go spot. There isn't any seating, so plan on taking your liquid happiness with you.

L made an additional order for egg tarts on their kiosk outside. Sunday night around 10pm, there were a lot of young adults. I noticed a lot of packages for pick up but I never saw anyone get those bags while I was waiting inside...there is a screen for what's in progress and what's ready. It seemed like a lot of orders. I was somewhat watchin the register area and I assumed my drinks were being packed up; it had been only 15 mins.. luckily, it was mine but L had to wait for his egg tarts ...he got one reg and one lemon. Not exactly quick service but it wasn't as long as other people said it would be. The iced Parisian lattes were pretty good.. I drink mostly coffee or fruit teas but not reg teas so we liked our drinks a lot. Tasted like coffee with ice cream since it was very rich and L wanted it 100% sweet. The egg tarts we ate 2 hrs later but they were still quite tasty. Very eggy but I liked it a lot. Actually prefer it over Bao's Pastry even though we go there all the time.. It has nice layers in the crust, better than the traditional egg tarts. Not dry, but very crispy. Like a croissant. The drinks, even around Flushing are not like mind blowing, but if you're thirsty and need a beverage, I'd rather drink this than soda, tea, etc. The matcha latte was okay, but I'm not a huge fan of matcha still. A lil bitter, but not too much and L liked his XL tea drink but those are nothing special. I'd come back for the Parisian latte.

And it was delicious!! The tea taste was very strong, and 30% sugar was a perfect kick of sweetness. I might be tripping but there were hints of orange flavor in this, I'm not sure if they added some to their tea but it was amazing and floral and fragrant. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was definitely busy. It took around 20 minutes to order and get my drink. Very limited seating inside so don't plan to drink your tea in there. I'm gonna come back to try their fruit drinks :)
