Not serving full American meals and being tucked into the country of Morocco - most vacationers just skip right past this option - unless it gives you access to one of the festival shows. But I'm here to tell you- make the reservation!!! Spice Road Table is one of the few waterfront restaurants. Entering in the front lobby decorated to be a spice exchange with barrels of spice and scales to sell immediately immerses you into the theming. The gorgeous decor brings elegance and charm with gold accents, wooden carvings, and stunning tapestries. Even the tabletops are an ornate metallic finish. Plus... that VIEWWWW!!! Tip: Request Indoor Seating! The patio is okay, but the inside is the vibe! We ordered the Spice Road Table Bread Service, Spiced Lamb Kefta, House-Made Hummus Fries, Chicken Bastilla, and the Lemon-Vegetable Couscous Tagine. Everything was so elegantly plated and quickly served!! My fav would definitely be the Chicken Bastilla with the crispy filo dough and delectable Aleppo honey, but don't sleep on the hummus fries - not sure how these aren't a staple appetizer across big chain restaurants. The Iced Mint Tea is the most refreshing drink at EPCOT on a hot day!! Balance of mint is unparalleled and trust me we utilized the free refills here!! For dessert, you can't go wrong with the Dessert Platter - tasty delicacies of assorted baklava and cookies! Our server Amine was so nice! We had one of everything for the table. I'm vegetarian and still enjoyed my meal, felt really satisfied with the flavor of the vegetarian options. This was one of the highlights of our trip! We had table service for most lunch and dinner meals this week but today we had a gap for lunch. We stopped here primarily because it had a covered patio and we knew the rain was coming. Very glad we did! We ordered one of each of the tapas plates. I had the hummus fries, which I still can't figure out how they're made, but they were deep-fried hummus. In the south, we say that you can deep fry anything and this just proves the rule. So good! The bread service had some of the best hummus I have ever had! The Chicken Bastilla was a perfect mix of sweet and savory. Dessert was an amazing baklava that was layered like a cinnamon roll instead of horizontal, which I thought was pretty neat. It also came with a cookie that I think was a powdered almond cookie? What a dinner! Stopped in for our last supper after walking 30k steps around Epcot. Only about a 10 minute wait which wasn't bad. Plenty of outdoor seating with fans to keep you cool. Very chill vibes. We quickly ordered and food came out in no time. Lamb kefta was light and full of Moroccan spices. Cauliflower was tasty along with the bang bang dipping sauce. All three small bites we tried were pretty good. Hummus Fries was more like chickpea fries. Always love a variation of fries. Lamb Kefta was a bit too lamb-y for me but my friends enjoyed it. We started with iced mint teas, which were very refreshing and flavorful. The plates are served tapas-style, so we decided to share a few. Spice Road Table is so underrated, I feel like I never see it included when people talk about the table service restaurants at EPCOT. The ambiance is great, and they have indoor and outdoor seating available. You can get a great view of the fireworks here. The Iced Mint Tea is so delicious. I prefer the non-alcoholic version, but you can also get it with gin. This is a great spot to go to with a group since you can order a bunch of small plates to share. Some of my favorites include the Pomegranate-Chili Crispy Cauliflower, the House-made Hummus Fries, the Naan Spreads, and the Dessert Platter. If you visit on a day with nice weather, I totally recommend requesting to dine on the patio. The views of World Showcase lagoon are fantastic! read more

That said, it was outstanding. Plus, since one in our party is a vegetarian, there were ample choices. Our absolute favorites were the Lemon-Vegetable Tagine with Olives, Preserved Lemon, and Couscous and the Pomegranate-Chili Crispy Cauliflower with Aleppo Sauce. As always, service here is fantastic. We ate here a couple weeks back and I failed to leave a review. This place had great food and service, and the prices were not hateful like you find at many Disney restaurants. My son told us, based upon what he had heard, that Spice Road Table offered only "small plates" of food. Albeit the menu was limited, which was okay with us, the plates were ample. The wife and I ordered, to sample and share, the Spiced Lamb Kefta (Harissa Yogurt, Mint Chutney, Toasted Pistachios, Preserved Lemon), the Naan Spreads (Hummus, Chermoula, Marinated Olives, Za'atar) and the Chicken Bastilla (Braised Chicken, Crisp Filo Dough, Almonds, Aleppo Honey). All 3 dishes were beautifully presented and tasted great! We had a couple of cocktails which kicked up our overall bill, but they were good and worth the price. Overall, we enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere of Spice Road Table. We were bummed that the main Moroccan restaurant has not reopened since its shuttering during the scamdemic, as we enjoyed that place several years ago. read more

A Bitter Bite at the Food & Wine Festival..... As a longtime Disney guest and Food & Wine Festival enthusiast, I was excited to take a flavorful detour to Spice Road Table in Epcot's Morocco Pavilion. I had a dining reservation and was ready to enjoy Mediterranean small plates with a lagoon view. Unfortunately, the only thing spicy about this experience was the attitude. We arrived a bit early--before the 4 PM dining start time--but noticed that other guests were being allowed inside to enjoy cocktails at the bar. Since the venue is open for drinks prior to full dining hours, I politely asked the host if we could check in early and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. The response? A curt and dismissive, "We open at 4. You can check in then." When I pointed out that other guests were clearly being allowed in, the Cast Member repeated the same line without any explanation or attempt at hospitality. No smile. No welcome. No Disney magic. Just a firm "we're not open." The experience felt discriminatory and unprofessional. While I'd love to chalk it up to a misunderstanding or policy confusion, the lack of warmth and visible favoritism made it clear: some guests were welcome, and we weren't. The vibe was so off, I honestly felt uncomfortable proceeding with the reservation. I contacted Guest Services, filed a formal complaint, and ultimately had the reservation canceled. Thankfully, Disney magic was restored when I was rebooked at Chefs de France, where the greeting was warm and the experience magnifique. I don't know if this was a cultural miscommunication, poor training, or something worse--but Spice Road left a bad taste before we even sat down. No guest should ever feel unwelcome, especially at a Disney park where hospitality is supposed to be the main course. read more

Morocco was honestly my favorite place for food in Epcot Yelp BFF and I stopped by to try a couple of bites. We ordered the calamari, tiropitakia, and sangria to share. The calamari was nice and crispy. I've never had tiropitakia, but cheese filled anything is always a good idea. The cheese is wrapped in a flakey phyllo pastry and topped with a tomato and cucumber relish. We would've opted for the dessert platter, but decided to go next door and sample some additional goodies. We were fortunate to get a fireworks table! It was my first time to Epcot and my birthday celebration! We had the lamb, spicy shrimp, bread with hummus and two spreads, calamari, chicken bastila, cauliflower, and mint tea. The lamb was to die for! It was very tender, juicy, and spiced perfectly. The spicy shrimp was delicious with a little kick. The naan with a eggplant, hummus and twi dipping sauces was great. The chicken bastilla is a must try! A very traditional dish that I really love!! The cauliflower was fried with a sweet and sour sauce. The calamari was perfectly crisp and not overbreaded at all! Wow! You can't go wrong with any if these dishes. Also next door there's a place where you can get an iced mint slush!It I was the BEST EVER! Especially if you want to cool down and love mint iced tea!! Spice Road Table is located in the Morrocco Pavilion inside EPCOT. I would recommend making a reservation, but you could get lucky and do a walk in. On busier days in the park, it might be more difficult to walk in. This restaurant is fairly on the newer side, the pavilion used to have another restaurant inside which had a belly dancer as well as a quick service location. The quick service has been converted to just a festival location so it is only open during festival times and has a very limited menu. The restaurant in the back has been closed. But Spice Road is the current restaurant and situated right on the water. It is so good. They do have inside or outside seating. We had a reservation this last time and needed to add one more person to the reservation. We were not sure if they could accommodate but they were so nice about it and had no issue adding another person. We were seated at a window which had a beautiful view of the EPCOT lagoon. Our server came by pretty fast and took our drink order and handed us the menus. The food here is all served tapas style. The portions are good but smaller. To have an actual "meal" you would need to order 2-3 plates. Luckily, we had 5 people, so we ordered almost every item on the menu. My only issue is I wish they had more specialty cocktails. They had some drinks, beer and wine and a full bar but I was hoping for some real specialty drinks. There were a couple, but they did not appeal to me. I think I am just looking for more variety. The only things we skipped were the crispy cauliflower and the dolmas (grape leaves) as no one in the group was really excited or liked these. They bring everything out as it is ready, so food kept coming. Some of my favorites were the house made hummus fries. These are like fried French fries but made out of hummus. It is unique and actually really delicious. It is served with a spicy dipping sauce of citrus and chipotle. This is a must order dish. I also love the crispy calamari which comes with a remoulade sauce, the naan spreads which has hummus, chermoula, olives and za'atar. This is served with warm naan and it so delicious. We also ordered and I really loved the spicy shrimp. This had crispy toasts, chili, garlic and peri peri sauce on shrimp. It was fantastic! Our group also ordered, which were also good, the grilled lamb kefta, tiropitakia, spiced chicken, tagine and the table sampler. These were all really tasty, but the others were my favorite. When we go back, I would honestly stick with the hummus fries, calamari, nann spread and the spicy shrimp. These were really my absolute favorite. All in all, this is an amazing place. I think it is so highly underrated. I don't think people know about it or are afraid of it. But even though the dishes do have seasoning and flavors, it is not overpowering. Just give it a try. There will be something for everyone. Even our friend who is more on the picky side enjoyed the food. This is definitely worth the visit. read more

My favorite bite was the lamb kefta, followed closely by the chicken bastilla, which had a wonderful flavor and texture. The cauliflower was also very good. This was one of the destinations as part of my "drink around the world" adventure at Epcot where I got one drink from each country in the park. Spice Road Table is located in the Morocco section of the park. It's a huge restaurant right off the main walkway but if you just want a drink you can walk up to the bar to order. My husband and I stopped into Spice Road for an early lunch one day at the park and we are so glad we did because the food was AMAZING. We ordered several small plates including the Tiropitakia (cheese-filled phyllo), Naan spreads (Hummus, Chermoula, Marinated Olives, Za'atar), and the Grilled Lamb Kefta. Each dish was so flavorful and it was the perfect amount of food knowing we had a large dinner ahead of us later in the day. The Tiropitakia was light, flaky, and savory. The chermoula was a standout and one that I imagine could be easily overlooked on the naan dish. The marinated olives were also quite delectable. The oil and hummus meshed well. Having missed breakfast, we were eager to sit as soon as we could. We arrived to the restaurant just a couple minutes before opening but instead of turning us away, we were graciously offered ice water and some shade while they made their last minute preparations for opening. Our waiter was very attentive once we were seated and made what turned out to be some spot-on recommendations. From our seat, we had a sweeping view of Epcot's central body of water and Spaceship Earth. I would return here in a second. read more

The Spicy Shrimp was a great dish and the peri peri sauce was something we couldn't help but lap up with bread from another dish. The Dolmas were a delicious offering. Funny that I have never been here! But I ended up getting reservations here before a concert. The hostess at the front was friendly, was seated right away. It had a nice indoor seating area and every seat you have a nice view! My waitress was so nice and attentive, I got the iced mint tea, refreshing! I got the sampler and the naan bread with hummus. The size was great! You get a try a little or everything on the sampler. The hummus! Wow it was delicious, it came with some olives, olive spread and some naan bread.
