First time at this Glendale location. Two places in one location. One side poke and one side sandwiches. The poke was ok. The salmon had a pale beige mixed orange color. Can't describe it. Didn't get any. Since I was there with my son I didn't want to leave so I got the tuna which was ok in color. The taste was average. My son didn't even finish his bowl which was a first for him lol. Anyways maybe it was a bad day for fish that day. Customer service was unfriendly, so overall a three star experience.

While I'm giving the food a lower rating, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which definitely improved my overall impression of the place. The location is very convenient, with the mall and the Americana across the street and plenty of spots to walk around and explore. Parking is also easy, with multiple parking garages available nearby.

This spot is located at the marketplace and also has an Italian sandwich spot right next to it. Ambiance is chill and there's a decent amount of seats for dine in. Portion size was pretty big, and the food was tasty! We were allowed to customize our order based on the available options, and the employees gave us recommendations and warnings if the sauce may be a little spicy, which was appreciated. The place was clean too. I will happily come back when I'm in the area. read more

I've been here like three times and every time I am disappointed. Today will probably be my actual last time. I ordered a sushi burrito and it was probably the most poorly wrapped "burrito" I've ever had. My wife and I each had one and they both completely fell apart on us because there was no attempt to close the ends so toppings just spilled out everywhere. Their bowls aren't much better because the fish here doesn't taste fresh, and neither do the toppings so every time we eat here we just feel gross afterwards. There are better poke places in Glendale, like Poke N Roll or Poke Cafe - both of which are just up the street. One good thing here is the spam masubi, but just be aware that they're sold at room temperature. Update: the owner reached out to me and offered a refund for the meal to make up for the experience I had. I appreciate them doing right by their customers. read more

Ordered on DoorDash because it said 19 mins . They were open for another 45 mins. Employees decided to accept my order and close the store / waited about 35 mins watched my order change from 4 different dashers and then had to contact DoorDash support for them to tell me they closed the store and accepted me order without even making my food . Very disappointing and careless workers . Would not recommend or bother trying to order from here again. read more

Poke in Glendale needs to be easier to find. This place was yes, close to parking, but kinda in a random courtyard spot next to the LA Fitness. Locations aside, the employee made a great custom poke bowl with all of my favorite toppings and even some options i hadn't had before! It was filling and a quick order in and out. I'd only take it down a star because of the fountain machine not in order and the decor was a little bare. read more

It's super clean but without feeling steril. When we sat down, we noticed a nice woman with her mom who was celebrating her 95th birthday and we sat next to them. They were both very sweet and mentioned the items they got and how good everything was. We basically mirrored their dishes and were not disappointed by our choices. Generally, when you're at a Thai restaurant, you can't go wrong when you take advantage of suggestions given to you by two beautiful Thai people. We started off with an appetizer called "Gold Rush" which are 6 crispy, yet chewy wontons that are cooked until golden and then the dipping sauce was a tangy soy vinaigrette which I initially wished had not been taken away with our plates when we were done but any concern I had was soon forgotten when the other dishes came out because everything was so well seasoned that I never once thought, "I wish I still had some of that dipping sauce". We ordered the Laab Chicken which I always crave because so many Thai restaurants don't serve it. But Spice Season offers it and that might have been my favorite dish. I always order it without the rice powder because I don't like the powdery ground rice. I think it's a distraction from everything else in the dish. Our server didn't blink an eye when I asked that it not be included. Next, we ordered the Pad Thai. It was delicious. The noodles are thinner rice noodles (like angel hair) than what I have typically experienced (more like the size of linguini) but I loved the dish overall, would not change a thing and will definitely order it again. Blazing Basil Beef was the next dish that came out. The beef was super tender that night but it did not heat up well the next day. It got tough, even though I heated it up using a very low microwave power setting. This was in no way a reflection on how they cooked this dish because it was perfect when it came out. I will try the Heaven Scent next time or Spice Season Steak in lieu of Blazing Basil but that is not to say I would never order it again - far from it - but we are excited to try other dishes as I have noted further below. Rounded everything out with the Pineapple Fried Rice which I crave just as much as Laab but I'm usually nervous to try it because so many times the rice doesn't have any flavor, or not enough pineapple juice but not the case here! It was delicious! D'oh! I forgot to mention the Matcha Cheesecake which was heavenly. It took me several days to finish that off and unlike the Blazing Basil, it held up fantastically in the fridge for the next few days which is how long it took me to finish it off. Honestly, everything we tried was incredibly fresh, bursting with different flavors and cooked the way we enjoy our Thai food. We were not rushed, and the person who took our order said that we had ordered plenty of food which I appreciated - we do tend to over-order but that's because we eat the leftovers but I thought it was nice that she gave me the "that's probably enough" sign. Last thing I will mention just to help others on the spicy scale, we love our Thai food spicy. I read some reviews where people said the food was not spicy enough. We told our server that we like spicy and that we would leave it up to her - she said that everything would be a 4 out of 5 on the spice scale and while it was perfect for me, my husband thought it was just a tad too spicy but I think he's just out of practice. ;) We will probably go with 3 out of 5 next time, unless I'm alone. Then I would go back to 4 on the spice scale! I'm excited to try the Papaya Salad, Lime Steak Salad, Tom-Yum Fried Rice, Heaven Scent, and Lemongrass Soup. I really wanted to like Pokitomik in Glendale, especially with its convenient location right across from the Americana, but overall it was a pretty disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the portions. The scoops were extremely small, and the portion control felt a bit excessive for the price. I've been to their La Verne location, and the difference is noticeable--better portions and much friendlier service there. The fish also didn't taste as fresh as I expected, which is a big factor when it comes to poke. The bowl looked great at first glance, but the quality just didn't match. Service-wise, the staff wasn't very welcoming, and the vibe felt off. It didn't help that chairs were already stacked up about an hour before closing, which made it feel like they were trying to wrap up early rather than provide a good dine-in experience. On a positive note, the space itself is clean, and the setup is straightforward with lots of topping options. But with so many great food choices in the Glendale/Americana area, this one just doesn't stand out. Overall, I'd probably skip this location and go to La Verne instead if you're craving Pokitomik. read more

Filled them both up, topped with spicy mayo, the other jalapeno cream cheese. Gobbled them up. So fresh, crunchy and flavorful. The place is in a small plaza where you can park, or on the street. It's small with 3 tables but it's clean and the staff was great; good attitude and helpful with recommendations. Both burritos were both delicious, but I love spicy and really enjoyed the hot Cheetos one. I like that it's made there after you pick everything out. Delicious! These guys are changing the poke game! 1.) Service: they are the most hospitable workers out there who just want their customers happy and satisfied. They will customize anything to your liking and make sure everything is exactly what you want. 2.) Price: reasonable for what you get. The burritos are massive (They're like the poke chipotle) 3.) Food: 100% on point. Everything is incredibly fresh and incredibly delicious! With the abundance of options and ingredients, there's something for everyone...even vegans and vegetarians. They have a delicious tofu option that can be ordered on any of their items! They also will let you know which sauces contain any dairy or animal products. Will return. Tried the mouth-watering poke burrito and absolutely loved it. Only in California do you see a fusion masterpiece like this. I'm an absolute poke and sushi fanatic. Also, I do not like mayo on my poke or sushi. Some places put mayo in everything, so it's a problem with some of these poke and sushi places. But this place here serves the way I want it. Minus that nasty mayo. Yuck. Anyway, I found out about this place through a co-worker who was raving about it. He told me the poke burritos were huge. He wasn't joking. After much thought thinking this place was just hype...OMG that poke burrito with the hot Cheetos is amazing in flavor. The fish first of all super super fresh doesn't have that old fishy smell or taste tastes like grade A sushi fish. I have heard about this place for many times and finally decided to visit. Guys kept all the rules of sanitisation and with distance of the tables and sanitizers on them which is very appreciated during this period. The customer service was also great. This is my goto poke place mainly for 2 reasons. First, its the closest store from where i live, i could literally walk to and from this place within a few mins. Second, the price-quantity-quality-taste is well balanced. I've eaten before at poke places with the same price but smaller servings and mediocre taste. The owner of this business is SO sexist and homophobic, and now I can see that they are also an anti-vaxxer which is not want you'd want for a food establishment. What's more, my rice was mushy and very obviously old, so I wouldn't be surprised if the fish isn't fresh too. Won't be coming back even if my usual Poke N Roll is closed. read more

I had a wonderful experience with PokiTomik yesterday. The food was very good and the delivery was very fast. I mistakenly order DoorDash pickup instead of delivery and they help me figure it out everything and in less than 20 minutes I had my food. My order had the wrong toppings, also ordered as spicy as I could and it had absolutely zero spice to it. They also have a few fake Yelp reviews you can see are fake accounts with no photos and only 1 review. They will not last long, tons of great poke options in Glendale, but this is not one of them. read more
