One employee asked if I'd like crab and seaweed salad. I said yeah. Crab is probably imitation crab. I like that the crab and seaweed salad are free. I don't think other poke bowl restaurants serve them for free. I like how the sauces and toppings are labeled on the display cases or glass. I didn't see the trash can so I asked an employee where I was supposed to place the tray and bowl. He said he could take it. Employees were kind. One employee said I'd be paying with cash since I had a $20 bill out. There are at least 4 tables inside. Music played through the speakers. Chairs were stools. A small plant was placed on each table. They seemed real. One table had 2 chairs on each side. Tables were grouped together. There are tables outside. Natural light filtered through the floor to ceiling windows. I could feel the AC inside.

They apologized for the power outage and offered us the food that they had just prepared. They asked us to use our phones as flashlights so that we could safely stand in line and receive the food. Always smiling, they explained to us the different types of food they had and made sure we safely left the store with our generous samples of their delicious food. Prices are all very reasonable--the swordfish plate I mentioned earlier is around $15 and a pretty large amount of food. Fish King does get pretty busy especially around mealtimes so it's better to order in advance and pick up so that you don't have to wait around as long. I think if you order in person, you can expect a 20-30 min wait when it's busy. There's a small lot on the side of the market and sometimes you can find street parking too. There are some tables on both ends of the market so you can dine in, it's very casual.

My mom kept asking and Kimberly was confident she didn't put the noodles in the order and rang the order up. My mom checked her bowl and there were noodles. Kimberly refused to give us the paper order since she had tossed it, but Paola was kind enough to redo the order. My brother's girlfriend had crossed off items from her original order, but Kimberley ended up ignoring her marks and also didn't inform her they had no more of a certain item that Paola had told my husband and I they ran out. She decided to keep her order since she didn't want to deal with Kimberly. Kimberley ended up requesting for the food order she messed up on back and she tossed it. We definitely ended up holding up the line because of the redo for one of the bowls and think that it would've been better if they just did our orders one by one verbally, so we could make sure our order was done right.
