Mixed combo plate
Kent S.

Rating: 4.5 Ordered a delivery for lunch to give this place a try since i've heard good things. I ordered small butter chicken pizza and mixed combo plate. Butter chicken pizza was very flavorful and the pizza dough was nice and chewy which is how I like them. The mixed plate was delicious. Compared to other places the meat is spiced and flavored well so sauce really doesn't overwhelm the flavor. Rice was plain but if you portion it well with the meats it's fine. I preferred the lamb over the chicken. Overall the place was pretty decent and price is reasonable. I'm interested in visiting the actual location next time.

Writing from a Yelp Elite event - Spice Valley Halal is a a somewhat hidden pizza place inside a gas station. The menu includes fusion foods inclusive of pizza, wings, fries, bowls. I tried the butter chicken pizza which was a lot of flavors in one. Spicy, salty, tangy overall delicious. I've also had their tikka masala pizza before which is less good than their butter chicken one but still decent. I like how their hot sauce is actually really hot! Be warned about getting extra spicy or you will be sweating. The worker at the register is also friendly and I appreciated the service I received!

The service and food are always stellar. Every time I come to Providence, I have to make a visit.

I tried the pizza free thanks for Yelp Elite. The crust was too doughy and not crispy and I felt like there could have been more sauce and toppings. The toppings also weren't evenly distributed. They were flavorful and the veggies tasted fresh. The butter chicken fries however, were excellent. Piping hot, super flavorful, and a great portion size! This place is inside of a gas station and serves pizza, bowls, chicken wings, and fries. So if you're looking for ambiance, you won't find it here. But if you're craving some unique fries or prefer a chewier and more doughy crust on a pizza, I'd suggest stopping in. I'd personally go back for the fries and possibly try a bowl but as a born and raised New Yorker who loves a thin crust, I'll skip the pizza.

I dealt with the owner, Sheroz, who was truly wonderful! He really cares about his business, his customers, his employees and the food he is making! His enthusiasm and passion was wonderful! So inspiring! The butter chicken pizza was very yummy! I'm not usually a spicy girly, but am glad I tried this spot out! I shared the pizza with my neighbor who loved lots of flavor and spice and she was obsessed with the pizza! What a good find! Thanks Yelp for suggesting this place!

If you thought you couldn't get high quality Italian pizza crust from inside a gas station/honeydew/smoke shop/halal restaurant, then you thought wrong. It's giving mamma mia, it's giving buongiorno, it's giving arrivederci!!! Dip that thang in their white sauce and game overrrrr

Hands down some of the best pizza I've had, quality and flavor is top tier. This isn't regular gas station food

This place is a hidden gem that deserves the world. I stopped in to pick up a butter chicken pizza and a lamb calzone to bring home for dinner and it did not disappoint. The pizza was 10/10 - great pizza taken to the next level with the flavor from the butter chicken. The staff was incredibly friendly and generous, giving us extra fries for our first time visiting. They were also handing out free slices to delivery drivers which adds major bonus points, in my opinion. I would love to see them in their own space, but don't let the gas station scare you off! Very much worth it - you won't be disappointed. I'm excited to see this place grow and thrive.

The space is a large modern hanger-style food court with a large bar station and plenty of seating in and outdoors on large patio. Wonderful for families and groups to gather around at long large tables. We found a table by the end by a large screen wall tv with sports on and comfy leather club chairs Great for drinks and talking. First stop, we stood at the bar and ordered our drinks ($14 cocktails). And got big glasses of ice water and headed to our table. We then we split up and everyone walked the hall looking at menus. We all ordered food and gave the restaurant a phone number and they'll text you when your items are ready, generally about 10 or 15 minutes depending on how busy things are. Then you go pick up your tray and head back to your table. Note... don't forget your phone like I did. It's a great opportunity for grazing. If you wanna try a little bit here and there. I chose to have Mediterranean food from TOLIA. Appetizer was a nice three dip Mediterranean plate with pita chips $15 that were crunchy and good. For my entrée, I selected the minced lamp, kebabs over eggplant with pita and an added extra cucumber yogurt dip $29. This was all very tasty And costs about $50 with tip. A bit pricey for a self serve if you ask me. But that's the way things are going on these days. It was a nice time sitting around and talking, but then it got very crowded and very noisy and people were hovering by 5:30 to take our tables and even asked if we were getting up soon. It was a cold chilly day, but the overflow folks were headed outside of the picnic tables, which seemed very cold to me, but on a warm day I would all be very nice. A note on parking, we parked in the adjacent parking garage right near behind Track 15 and get your ticket validated inside at wall kiosk by the door when Leaving. This will save you, so two hours cost about $8.95.

Looked at all of our options and I decided to go with Mexican from Dolores and my wife decided to go with Giusto PVD. I wish I had chosen Italian over Mexican. I've been dying to try Dolores so I opted to have three different tacos after asking the girl at the register if she would recommend their chicken sandwich over the tacos. She told me that everything was good so I went with the ribeye taco, the shrimp taco and the mushroom taco. The ribeye taco was fantastic. There was quite a bit of ribeye in it and the perfect amount of spice. The shrimp taco flavor and the mushroom taco was just spicy with a little flavor. I'd have to say the ribeye was the best taco and it definitely wasn't worth what I spent on them. My wife had an eggplant Parm sandwich and it was cooked perfectly, looked delicious and I wish I had gotten that. I really wanted to order a long Liv beer, but the bartender was talking to someone, I assume that they knew, as although I was only the second person in line I didn't get waited on for over 10 minutes. I ended up walking away to go get my food and just drank water. So my first experience here was not great, overall I'm pretty disappointed, but I'm going to go back and try again as there are a few other restaurants. I really do like the idea of being able to get dishes from different restaurants, pick your own seat and sit with other people at a community table. It's really nice inside and they had live music tonight, which would've been great if we wanted to stay. Next time I go back, I'm definitely having Italian, pizza and some falafel. Dolores was 2 stars Bart was 1 star Giusto was 5 stars Bus boy gets 5 stars too

She had just a couple of deviled eggs, which were a little dry, then continued with a good seasonal salad, accompanied by excellent bread which the restaurant gets from the ex-Wayland bakery, which has unfortunately moved to Pawtucket and changed its name For my main dish I had the appetizer mussels mariniere - tasty and just the right portion for lunch. With great willpower I did not order the fries as I had some the night before. And ended with an espresso. Our waiter, Joe, was knowledgeable about the food (and brought us an extra helping of bread) and gave excellent service. (We gave him a good tip.) As usual, the place was noisy but less so than in the evening. This really is an American bistro, reminiscent of the ones in Paris. The check came to under $50 per person, probably because we did not have any wine as it was the middle of the day. However, we left feeling replete.

My lobster mac and cheese (special) was so perfect, especially with that added fry sauce from the mussels (def add fries for 2-3$) The salmons were a bit under seasoned, the non hot honey version was wayyy better.
