The have bbq pork which is that red pork in your food and straight up it's legit. I judge Chinese restaurants by that specific trademark. If your bbq pork is fire and not those white bland pieces many people use. Real fast food Chinese food and extremely affordable. Did I mention how fast they are? Literally order it as you're about to go grab it. Order it and then get in your car and go grab it. It will be done. I swear they take less than 10 mins easy. All their food is insanely good, the hot and sour soup is amazing. My go to is a box of Lomein pork, fried rice pork and some dumplings. You get to feed 3 people with that lol. read more

When you consider the abundance of chinese restaurants and diversity of certain chefs, you can find much better ones than this one. Allow me to explain: The menu is a little sparse for a traditional Chinese fare. When you walk into a chinese restaurant, you're often overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices to pick from. You might say to yourself, "Well, a smaller menu would mean quality is better!" No, incorrect. While the food isn't terrible, it leaves a lot of room to be desired. It's mediocre, to downright tasteless. And it isn't cheap enough to say that's a saving grace. On to the harsh review score: I don't know if it was the language barrier, but I've said that I had a food allergy and cannot have bean sprouts. I've reiterated this many times while ordering. I ordered the fried rice and the and mongolian beef. When I got home, I opened the boxes to discover that the beef was SWIMMING in oil so much that I felt I could shower in it. The pork fried had exactly what I stated I was allergic to: bean sprouts. I spent the next 20 minutes picking out the bean sprouts. The food was tasteless. Bland. Uninspiring. Flat. You'd probably tell me, "Well, Jimmy, it's a hole in the wall Chinese place. What did you expect?" For 25 dollars for two items, I expected a lot more! I'm not coming back. Ordered their crab fried rice, crab lo mein, sesame chicken, crab ragoon, roast pork and cashew, and chicken curry with onions. Food was plenty for the price we paid, it was cooked fresh, and this place have lots of varieties to choose from. Took away one star because flavor was lacking a bit in a couple of dishes. The fried rice, lo mein, and roasted pork with cashew. The curry chicken had curry flavor, but it wasn't our favorite. We all loved the sesame chicken. I was looking for another restaurant to try and thankfully stumbled upon this place while driving back from an errand. And, the previous reviews helped with the decision. First, the menu has the standard offerings, but I decided to order one of the specials that was advertised which was the Kung pao special. I asked what its comprised of and they said it came with Chicken shrimp and beef. Within five minutes, I was on my way with my order. When I got home it opened up my water, I was surprised by the portion size and the quality of food. It wasn't your typical Kung Pao dish, it had additional vegetables, the brown sauce was slightly different also which made it very pleasant to eat. I enjoy "mom and Pop "restaurants that have a different spin on a standard dish. Finally, The reviews were quite accurate. This restaurant serves really good food And I'm looking forward to try other offerings. If you're in Converse, you must give this place a try. read more

We've been coming here for a few years now. It is very good Chinese! My husband is from New York originally and he asserts that this is truly authentic New York style Chinese food. He loves it! It's the only Chinese he'll get here in SA! I'm a vegan but he eats just about anything so we can both eat here and enjoy ourselves. I usually get the General Tso's tofu or the Bean Curd Homestyle. That's just a fancy name for fried tofu fyi. The food here is delicious, we mainly call ahead to put in an order and then go pick it up. It's always super fast and fresh. But we did dine in a few weeks back too which was just as nice. Just know that that's not their main focus so it's not like there's wait staff if you do eat in. Love love love the mongolian beef but my favorite part is spending ten minutes picking out all of the unnecessary onions once most of the onions are removed it's a much smaller plate thankfully it comes with a side of rice. If you're interested in any plates I would suggest ones that don't have too many vegetables involved. Other than that the staff is great unless you ask for substitutions like fried rice instead of steamed rice, they'll tell you no, but the food is usually always ready pretty quick! read more
