I have tried the chicken pad Thai from so many places in SA & they're ok but lack flavor; but I am happy to report that theirs HIT THE SPOT! I'm so glad to have a place like this near my home. The service was nice and quick. And the restaurant itself looked very clean and tidy. My food was hot even after I got home. The pork was juicy and coating was nice and crunchy. The noodles are top notch, something I would expect from a sit-in restaurant. And they give you so much broth for the ramen that you'll have leftover for later. I also got the cheese rolls. They were crunchy yet soft. And the filling was amazing. We just might be on to something.. You wouldn't expect this place to pack this much flavor! Their Pad Thai is advertised as "the best in town!" I'm not sure if I can go to that extent, but for the price you definitely can't beat that! Great serving for a very cheap! I ordered to go and everything was ready right at the time they told me it would be ready. As someone that has a timed lunch, I genuinely appreciate that. You'd be surprised how many places get that wrong. The Pad Thai has great flavor and had a good amount of protein in it for the price. I was excited to see such a wide variety of food options when I checked out Thai Lao online. Living in a household where we all may want to eat something different, we need options. This night that's exactly what happened. I got Japanese, my husband opted for Korean, my best friend got Thai and her husband got Chinese. I think I should've stuck to my first craving for Thai. Instead I was drawn to the ramen. It wasn't my favorite, but the problem I think is I am comparing to a ramen restaurant. Ramen should probably be done exclusively at a ramen only restaurant, my thoughts. The pork belly looked good and the veggies rocked, but nothing else did it for me. The sign from the street says "PHO" but this place is more accurately described as Thai restaurant with other Asian food options (2 Vietnamese dishes, miso soup, Laotian food AND boba!). Had pad seew and it was tasty with a good portion of beef! The red curry was good too but the I thought it was more soupy than other Thai curries I've had and was a little slim on the meat and veggies. It smells inside the location they try to air it out with an industrial fan but the odor is probably why they are only open for takeout only. The pad Thai was not good to me but the yellow curry was delicious and so the pineapple fried rice was full of vegetables I really appreciated that. read more

The food is amazing. Everything is fresh. Services is pretty quick also. I have been here a couple times already and it hasn't disappointed. One tiny tweak would be maybe adding a couple more shrimp into the pad Thai. It's only 1$ extra for shrimp though so that is a good deal. This is my go to Thai spot now I love it!! read more

This FM 78 location is the best. The portion sizes for dinner are huge! The dinner portion phad thai and pad woon sen are enough to to split between 2 people and still have leftovers! Their food is fresh and made once ordered. They're friendly and efficient. If you're looking for great Thai food, look no further! Cons Appetizers were served on one plate and no smaller plates were provided to the diners. Result was, there was a lot of food dropped on the table. Boba drinks were less creamy but very sweet. Tapioca balls were tough and chewy. Not a fan. Guest enjoyed it though. Asked if the pineapple fried rice came in a pineapple shell. She said yes. But the dish did not come in the pineapple shell. I asked for an appetizer plate with peanut sauce. The sauce cup had peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce in the same sauce cup. They couldn't spare appetizer plates nor different sauce cups? I had to hunt for the shrimp in the appetizer, at first I thought they forgot it. Curry was very mild. No fish or duck on the menu. There was a seafood clay pot item but no Thail chili fried fish, duck or mango sticky rice. Service was friendly. Food came out hot and had a great appearance. My guest didn't know that the spice level was subpar. Dishes were sweetened with rice vinegar I'm assuming. Overall too sweet. Clean and fast service. Veggies were still crisp and vibrant. No chilies or chili oil to be seen in any of the dishes or on the table. Great for people who like mild, sweet dishes. I like savory and spicy fare. So not a great option for me. read more
