I can absolutely see why someone got shot here and why there was only one person eating here when I walked in. NEVER AGAIN! I paid $16 for them to disrespect me with the amount of rice that they gave me to be comparable and accommodate the red curry that I purchased for $16. Look at this! Then she tried to rationalize this buffoonery by saying she "measures" the rice. Clearly you're not good at math then. Ridiculous. It makes me miss the Thai Walzem place that was here before this one. They didn't cheat their customers of rice. I mean, it's rice! $16 for 3 tablespoons of rice. Don't do it y'all! It's other places near them that won't disrespect your dollar.

    Pho combo

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! We got the pho combo, shrimp pho with vegetables, vegetable lo mein, mango sticky rice for dessert, everything was easily a 10/10. This was the best pho we've ever had, so much flavor, just wow. Everyone was so nice and friendly. This is definitely a restaurant where you want to order appetizer, entree, and dessert because everything is so flavorful and made with love. One of the owners was sweet enough to share a bit of their story with us and she even shared some of their other deserts for us to try. It was the chocolate cake, ube cake, and flan, again, 10/10 for those as well. I cannot wait to go back and I wish this business a ton of success so that they can remain open.

Definitely try this place out! I'm gonna talk about the desserts because that's what I just finished eating. Lordt!!! that Ube cake topped with flan. When I say devoured....I mean it! The cake itself isn't too sweet...I love whipped icing so the piped ube whipped icing...yes please...I need another. The flan is silky and it sits nestled in the middle on top of the cake. Each bite was sooo good. I tasted my daughters mango sticky rice and it was delish also. The mangos are ripe and with the coconut milk, it melts in your mouth. We we greeted as soon as we entered. The waitresses are nice and were patient since it was our first time there. The menu is huge, so have something in mind that you want or you will be going back and forth on what to order. Now, for the food. We got the gyoza to start; they were good. They were fried perfectly with the typical soy/fish sauce for dipping. I got the lechon and my daughter got the pork adobo. The lechon was fried to perfection and was seasoned well. The only thing I didn't ljke was about half was just the fat cap with no meat on it. The pork adobo was good too and it was very tender. Oh and I almost forgot...my daughter got a taro boba tea and she loved it. They made fresh boba for her too. We will be back to try some other things on the menu.

    Cake

You know it's gotta be good when local Philippinos are eating here. The food was delicious and the service was great! Their food was very fresh and vibrant. I was jealous of my friend who got the salmon. I got the pad Thai, which was fine. The shining star was their dessert though! Get the flan and the cake!!!! We even ordered some more to go!

Chicken fried rice (after we started eating)

Tried The Pan House, a brand-new Asian cuisine spot on Walzem in Windcrest, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Every course delivered -- the soy garlic edamame and lumpia were flavorful and fresh, and the chicken fried rice plus the blackened salmon and shrimp with lobster cream sauce were standouts. And don't skip dessert. The custard flan and mango sticky rice were the perfect ending. Even if you're full, take dessert to go like we did -- you won't be sorry!

    Summer rolls

I'm glad we found this place. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We had the summer rolls, pad Thai, fried rice, firecracker roll, and sesame chicken. Everything tasted delicious! They let us try samples of the desserts and we went with the flan. It was the best flan I've ever had!

The food and service was great. I had sesame chicken. It wasn't too heavily breaded and had great flavor. The gyozas were fantastic too.

As a filipino, I love sweet longanisa but I prefer the sausage wrapped ones because I like a bit of char on it. I didn't love their pancit, but loved their garlic rice. We also tried their kwek kwek (fried quail eggs) and it was tasty and love that it came with suka (vinegar sauce). I asked for a sweet chili sauce as well. There's a few streetfood items here that's hard to get elsewhere in San Antonio, like bulaklak. I was tempted to try even though it's pretty unhealthy. They're crispy, fried pork tissue fat and usually have a nice chewy texture. My favorite thing that we ordered was the pork sisig. It came out on a sizzling plate. I just wish it had more mayo and garnishes on it. Mostly just pork flavor. Our waiter was nice and the freshly made juice was amazing. We got a huge glass of fresh watermelon juice and calamansi lemonade. The restaurant itself seems like a venue for parties too, since they have a small karaoke stage. They also connect to a small grocery store with several Filipino staples. I was able to pick up Datu Puti vinegar and some Boy Bawang cornick! I'd come back if I was closer in the area or if i'm really craving a Filipino dish that I can't already make at home.

I politely greeted her hello and said "order for Mariah", she only opened the window enough to hear my name and then slammed it back shut not responding to me. Then she turned back around and gave me a 5 min hand signal. As I waited for my food I noticed she was either on FaceTime or watching videos with her phone on the prep table/cutting board while rolling raw lumpia. This is so unsanitary, phones hoard ALOT of germs. As for the food, it was ok, pork sticks could've used more char and sauce, lechon cuts had an equal amount of meat to fat ratio, pancit needs just a touch more flavoring, rice was nice and dry the way I like it. I tried one lumpia because I was pretty grossed out about her phone and they were tasty, crunchy, and rolled tight. Overall it was ok. I appreciate the tables and sitting area to enjoy my meal if ever so.
