Spicy Trails is exactly what we needed in Brockport! I was so excited to see this restaurant announced and came to try it as soon as possible! My family and I have ordered takeout here twice in both times it's been amazing. The restaurant is so cute inside and has a good amount of seating! The staff here is super nice and friendly as well! The food always comes out right on time, hot and delicious. My favorite things I've gotten here are the garlic naan, Malai Kofta, and Paneer Tikka Masala. Everything is so fragrant and flavorful! I'm not sure if I ordered at a bad time but the naan was super thick and dry, also the lamb was all very chewy and was let down on the flavor. There were also small pieces of bone in the lamb, possibly a bad or cheaper cut of lamb Food was ready on time! read more

Great food at a new restaurant. Had veggie samosa as an appetizer I'm usually not a fan but my wife wanted some and they were good. I had the lamb biryani and my wife had the chicken rara. We also got some garlic naan. Prices were what you would expect and portions were large enough we both had leftovers. Owner said they've been open 3 months. I hope they make it because she was very nice, good service and delicious food. read more

Im so happy to have Indian/Nepali food so close. This is pure comfort food. The mango lassi is my favorite. I loved the rice and entree. I got takeout but I'd love to sit and eat as well. It's a small restaurant with a good amount of seating. The service was quick and very friendly. read more

I was excited to have more dining options in Brockport. We went there a week ago. My husband got a lamb dish and I got the vegetarian chic peas. The portions are more than ample. Unfortunately the lamb was very gristly and tough. There was more fat than meat. So disappointing. My husband did like the sauce that accompanied it. My dish was just ok. Both dishes did have a nice spice to them. All dishes are paired with a very ample serving of basmati rice which was cooked perfectly. I suggest skip paying extra for Naan. The woman/owner who took our order was extremely friendly and sweet, and provided information about the history of their business and the food. I did love the mango yogurt smoothies absolutely delicious. I do hope they can improve the quality of the dishes. $70.00 for what we had was a bit much for a lamb dish that was inedible. read more

As always the food is delicious, although the portions can be more. We ordered garlic naan and they only gave us one slice. Plus an appetizer with only two pieces. The main dinner was a lot, but it's a bit pricey for a college town. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy and clean! I am glad there's an Indian restaurant in town. read more

Visited Spicy Trails with my vegetarian daughter. Spicy Trails offers plenty of vegetarian choices, and the food was fantastic perfect flavors, a quiet atmosphere, and excellent customer service. They did lose one star because the entrées arrived while we were still eating our appetizers, and our to-go order came out at the same time as the entrées. There wasn't enough space on the table, so the bag ended up on the floor. Overall, I strongly recommend the goat and the lamb both were exceptional. read more

This area has been in desperate need of some varied cuisine, and this place fits the bill! We got: chicken momo, lamb vindaloo, and chicken Tikka masala, with naan for a side. The chicken momo was served with a savory chutney (sesame forward flavor, it was delicious). Nothing to complain about the lamb vindaloo, but my husband and I both agreed that the Tikka masala was the highlight. Just the right balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. We also both go a mango lassi. I was expecting a bigger serving. I typically eat about half of what I'm served at a sit down restaurant and bring the rest home. There were no leftovers here- We both ate everything before we managed to grab a picture. That said, I still think the price is appropriate for what you get. 1 appetizer, 1 naan, 2 entrees, and 2 specialty drinks cost $68, which considering the fact that I spent $20 yesterday for a coffee and a sandwich at another place I frequent, I think that's not bad for a sit down dinner for two with extras. My husband said it could use more spice, but it was perfect for me, and I can tolerate some kick. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu, especially the Nepalese style dishes which I've never had before. read more

I was in Albion for six weeks and Brockport seemed close enough for some Indian food, and I was not disappointed! This place just opened, and I wish I had been in WNY a little longer just so I could sample more of the menu. Well spiced, nicely presented, everyone who works there is wonderful. Absolutely excited that there is now Indian cuisine in Brockport. The wife and I gave it a shot last night and we found the food to be good. Since they opened this weekend, they were mainky doing take out orders and the wait was quite long considering it was opening weekend. Food was delicious and will try again, but I am hoping the kinks get worked out. It said that entrees received rice with them but none was provided. It seems that most people I saw comment either got rice or didn't which makes me think there are some growing pains with it's opening (expected). I had the Butter Chicken which was great and the wife had the Paneer Tikka Masala which was delicious. We also tried the Plain Naan and Veg Samosa which were good also. i wil definitely go back again after a couple of weeks to see if the kniks are worked out. Really teetered on 3 Stars . However, this was our first time ordering takeout from here. We have been familiar patrons of many authentic Thai restaurants which may leave us somewhat biased. That said, the chicken tikka masala was well cooked and seasoned. The rice is always a hit most times. The side dish we asked about was a potato dish. It was spicy but lack luster. The plain naan bread was fresh and delicious. The green chutney was refreshing. Negativities: The raita, which is a cold side dish, was unfortunately NOT contained properly in the takeout and had curdled upon arriving home. It was inedible but with proper containers this can be corrected. The containers of all the items esp the Chai Tea could use better takeout containers or options to lessen the need to reheat meal. We will return again. And I would recommend Spicy Trails in the Village of Brockport. Certainly try the Chai Tea! read more
