Spiffy I did this service as a birthday gift for my wife. It was not done well: the top of our van appears not to have been waxed; door /vehicle mating surfaces were not all cleaned (in visible areas); the inside was not shampooed (stains still on carpet); soda/tea/coffee stains were still on the center console; black marks on seats. I was told the black marks and other dirt marks would not come out. So, after the detailer left I spent a couple hours on the car and removed the marks. Note: I was working diligently nor had commercial grade cleaners. I chose to finish the interior issues myself so my wife would come home to a clean car. Also, I made an 8 o'clock in the morning appointment to have my son's glass window evaluated for repair. No one showed up. Brought this to the attention of the detailer before and after his work. I got emails post the work. So, my day off work to have this all handled was not maximized. I called and expressed my concerns. I was informed my concerns were legitimate. No response from a manager. I will not be using this service again. Shame! It is so convenient. Unfortunately, I did not take pics of the center console stains or marks on the leather seats. Just had a Spiffy speedy clean inside and out and I have the windshield sealant and the paint sealant. Wasn't happy all the mats.... all the mats are all wet and put back in the car. When I lifted the cover in the trunk area you could tell nothing was vacuumed at all. Opened the car doors and you could tell where the door meets the frame had not been wiped and I had to have him redo! Probably will not use again! When you're paying over $100 to have your car washed and detailed you shouldn't have to go back and ask him to redo this that and the other. read more

There is a Spiffy service that comes to my office outside of Atlanta once a week. I recently paid over $300 for the "totally awesome" detail. I don't think these guys know what the word "detail" means. The first shot they had at cleaning my car they completely skipped the roof and missed several other areas. They seem to have focused on the hood and drivers door, and half-assed the rest of the car. I brought it back for a "touch up" and they did polish the roof, but there were still several missed spots. They also left all the plastic panels covered with a slimy goo that I had to wipe off. I asked for no tire shine on the tires, but I expected them cleaned at lest, which they weren't. You're paying for convenience with these guys, not a proper detail. read more

I got the Totally Awesome Detail and it was NOT worth the price at all. The exterior of my car looks worse than before - there's a few chips of paint missing and there's a white residue (wax, maybe?) all over the front of my mirrors and my front bumper. Their tools damaged the interior of my rear passenger door. Not only that, but my trunk wasn't even cleaned! There's still leaves and dirt all over my trunk. For the price, I expected far better service. It was incredibly convenient but I can safely say I'm never using the service again due to the damage to my car. Had to select one star to leave a review although I never used them. Had to use some reward points or lose them. They offered a Spiffy "Awesome Detail" for the majority of my points so I selected the car detail, a $219 value. I was sent a code to claim the reward and was directed to Spiffy's web site. I was instructed that I had to create an account for service, which I did. Then it instructed me to store credit card information for future services. I contacted a representative and explained that I had a code that the service was going to be paid for. Doesn't matter, no credit card info, no service. Talked with a manager later and explained to her that I had a code for the service and I wasn't comfortable entering credit card info, knowing I wouldn't use them again. She said lots of companies require credit card info. I agreed and told her I had credit card info with Hilton and Delta Airlines and I trust that they had processes in place to protect my info, but not the same confidence in Spiffy!!! Told the same thing, no credit card info no service. With all the data breaches happening, I stand by my decision, just didn't get a good feeling about this company. Back in 2016 I wrote a 5-star review of Spiffy. I understand that they were a startup back then but no longer are...and the change shows. In 2017 I ordered my second Spiffy detailing job, a "Totally Awesome" package for my father for a Father's Day gift. Spiffy did a great job. It cost me $157.71 after tax and tip and they cleaned everything: interior, exterior, removed sap on the roof and hood, removed some mildew, etc. Exemplary detailing. A couple of weeks ago (Jan 2019) I ordered the same exact service for the same car in the same condition (and added a $15 water spray under the car). This time it cost $281.82 before tip and they missed important details like the bottom of the bumpers and did not remove the sap spots on the car. Then they said I could pay an additional $160 or more for sap removal. So $440+ to do what they did for $158 two years ago. I messaged Spiffy before I purchased to make sure the price and service from 2017 was still the same and they implied it was. After the service when I messaged them about the problems they blamed me. They did not apologize. I looked back a the Web site to try to find a warning about sap removal or an add-on service for sap removal to no avail. I looked for an option to message the technician or customize the interior detailing. This feels like a bait and switch to me. When I complained they scheduled someone to come out look at the car and take care of the bumpers that they missed. But they were 50 minutes late and didn't let us know they'd be late until they already were. When they did text us 45 minutes before arriving they said nothing about how long it would take. The text was: "I am otw to you now." Having to be profitable should be no excuse for terrible communication throughout and poor value and service. read more

The day of my appointment really put me off they changed it again - I asked for some compensation for the inconvenience and they would not think of it, it was warranted. I do not recommend this company and if you do use them don't expect your appointment time to be honored. read more

Just used these guys for the first time today. Saw their sign in our office area. Was able to download their app and book online. Very easy to use, quick response time, excellent communication. Arranged for them to come to my office in the Crossroads Plaza area of Cary. They made time for me the next day. They called in advance and actually were able to start early and finished early. I had a deep cleaning of the interior and a basic wash and wax. They were very competitively priced and they did a fantastic job. Car looks like new inside and out. We tried Spiffy for the first time over the holidays and had them wash all 3 of our cars (mine, wife's and son's) including some extra detailing on our son's which needed it badly. The entire experience was positive. Scheduling it using the app was easy and quick, including selecting additional services we needed such as headlight repair. The technician was prompt, polite and remarkably thorough. Our cars are cleaner than they've been in years. We even had a small issue with our son's car and the District Manager called me about it before I ever saw it. He explained what happened and how they were going to fix it, before I ever knew about it. Can't beat that. Terrific service, we will be using Spiffy regularly going forward. read more

Gave my son a wash and wax for a gift. He had a little crack at the top of his windshield which he showed the technician when he arrived. When the car was finished he crack was down the length of the windshield, you cannot us a power hose on a cracked window. When I emailed spiffy about it, I got a message back that said basically " too bad". Very disappointed at this reaction, there is no accountability for a mistake that they made? read more

I saw one of their vans at a petrol station and thought that was pretty cool concept. Go up the driver of the van and he gives me a break down of what they do and then offers me $30 off my first service. I thought "$30 is pretty good since I pay $70 at my Lexus dealership for an oil change, so $30 off what ever they charge can't be bad!" WRONG !!! I try to place an appointment via their crappy app and upon waiting 2 hours with no information what so ever, I get a text: 19:47 [Spiffy] Thanks for your message, Daniel! The Spiffy penguins are home for the evening, but will respond to your message first thing in the morning! What App closes their customer support at 17:20 ! The following morning I have a notification stating my appointment was set for a tune I didn't select ! I contact customer support and tell them everything and their response is "we don't offer discounts" when clearly they do ! Then their horrible sassy CS agent just starts bickering banter ! This place did an amazing job on my car on Saturday. Was able to schedule an appointment the day of. They showed up right on time. Literally everyone noticed that it looked brand new. They claim the chips were already there and tried to prove this with their "before" photos which showed nothing because they were taken too far away. Wow, what a great experience with these folks! I purchased tires from an on line retailer who had them listed as one of their partners for installation. The retailer shipped the tires directly to Spiffy. As soon as the tires were delivered (I had a notification from delivery service), I received a call from the scheduler. She was absolutely delightful and got me an appointment for the next day. Technician showed up at the agreed upon time and set to work installing my four tires. Took about 40 minutes, but it could have taken 2 hours for all I cared. I was in the AC of my house working in my office. The technician was awesome as well. Yesterday was my first experience with a Spiffy mobile service. I was beyond ecstatic when the team arrived on time, were professional, and thorough. The team asked for feedback and didn't not seem inconvenienced when I pointed out minor areas to be re-wiped. I love the fact I can make an appointment with ease and receive appointment confirmation. On the plus side, they arrived on time, were polite, and got my car 97% clean. However, they left my hood covered in swirl marks, so now it looks pretty bad. I assumed that the brush they used had some grit on it. I contacted them about it and was assured that a manager would contact me by the next business day, but I never heard from them and as far as I know, my service ticket remains open several months later. I want to warn everyone Spiffy is a ripe off, I have a black truck that had swirl marks. When the tech came out he said he buffed and waxed the truck. My home cameras showed other wise. Our service isn't a permanent fix, meaning when you go through car washes, drive in different weather and road conditions, kick up rocks, etc., eventually you will develop swirl marks and scratches again. I'm sorry to hear that you see swirl marks again, but at this point we're more than a month past your last, complimentary service with us completed on October 14. Spiffy cannot offer any further solutions at this time. So if you are looking for anything more then a car wash stay away, FYI I am 40 and I have never had to write a review for such negative service. read more

Well, time for an update. After Spiffy refused to fix all of the damage they caused, they did approve a small portion that was to be painted (it was a mistake so glaring, even they couldn't deny it though the gentleman who performed the work tried to). They spoke to us, as well as the auto body shop and agreed on the price. The work was completed and now they won't return any calls from the auto body shop to pay for it. While my car is definitely cleaner than before, it doesn't look as though it's been detailed. There was still some dog hair on my seats and dirt in the creases of the seats. Crevasses in the interior don't look as thought they were touched and the exterior back window/trunk area, along with my gas tank area area absolutely filthy. When booked, I was told oil change would be finished at 1:30. He didn't arrive till a little after 1:30. Then he did not have the proper tool to remove the air filter cap. He told me it was screwed on too tight but that was not the case . So several hours later I still didn't have an oil change. And they would not leave the oil with me so I could fill my car with oil in order to be able to take it to get the oil changed. Luckily I had a friend that could do it after he got off work and it took 10 minutes. Not satisfied. However they did inform me that the charge would be taken off my credit card. read more

Today was my second time using Spiffy. I get the $49 service which is a wash and interior vacuuming and hard surface cleaning. The interior is more than enough of what I need. Both times they have been on time, friendly and did an excellent job. This time my service couldn't be completed due to rain, so the technician cleaned the inside and Spiffy's called me right away to waive the fee for today and reschedule. Their customer service is top notch. Also, you can easily find a first time coupon on their site or by calling them. They come to your home or work so I rescheduled my appointment for my work location at no problem. read more

AWFUL customer service. The man who came to perform the service was very courteous, and the actual cleaning was well done aside from a few spots that were left uncleaned (ignored under the seat, where the trunk overlaps the back of the car, etc.) However, upon entering my car i discovered that all personal items that I had left in the car were carelessly thrown on the passenger seat, okay fine, I understand that it's a good place to make sure nothing escapes. THEN I discovered that two earrings (one from two separate pairs) were missing, along with a pendant off a moderately expensive necklace that I had left in the drivers side door pocket when I left the car that morning. I immediately contacted the company and was told that they would check their vacuum and van the next morning. So far, so good. However, the next day passes without my hearing from them, and when I requested an update the day after, I was told that they had located one earring and the pendant. Two more days pass after the company tells me that they will get back to me asap about the other earring. This saga started on a Friday, on the following Wednesday I missed a call while I was in a meeting, I attempted to call the person back and got no answer. Thursday now, it has been nearly a full week since the service, and I get a customer service rep on the phone, who tells me that they had, in fact, only located one earring, not the pendant as I was initially told. At this point he asks if there is anything he can do to "make me happy with the service". I told him no, and explained why, and he took that as my final answer. overall, awful experience. To set the stage before the pros and cons - I bought a 2003 Town Car privately, and they didn't do much in the way of trying to clean it up. The interior was my focus (dirt and stains in the carpets, leather seats heavily soiled). I called around but most mobile detailers, and fixed outlets, were too booked up to do it when I wanted to have it done. Pros: -Called Spiffy on a Thursday, they said they could have someone out Friday at 2:00pm. They don't offer interior-only packages. The guy worked with me a little on the price of their next-to-best service to be interior only, but I figured for the extra 30 bucks, might as well go with the whole deal that comes in that package. -He got all the carpet stains out - carpet inside looks practically brand new. -Leather looked better... better than I was getting done with my bottle of leather cleaner and a soft cloth. -Trunk was vacuumed. -Wheels looked much better. They did also clean down door jambs and did a decent job with the "trunk jamb" -The man who booked my service made a note at my request for the serviceman to be aware of a spot on my hood where the clearcoat peeled, I didn't want any strenuous washing done over that spot that might exacerbate the problem. Cons: -LATE!! By 90 minutes. Thankfully I did not need to go anywhere. No call or notifications. He happened to be pulling up when I was getting ready to call. -Outside wash was done mostly with a pressure sprayer, and it took one of the letters off my cars marque. -Spots/smears of wax missed in typical areas, around the handles, near edges. Some was on my window and not well cleaned off,, I had to gently scrape it off. -Chemicals used on interior caused the printing on the mirror controls to smear, and the bezel around it to become rougher in texture. Not sure what kind of chemicals can cause that, thankfully no severe damage (will probably run me about 80 dollars to replace the bezel and the switches). -While my carpets needed the attention (cleaners and water), I'm now dealing with a slight damp smell in my car. Sadly the rain has been too unpredictable and frequent to leave the windows cracked so the heat can 'bake off' the moisture in the car. Not sure if the shop vac he was using just didn't do a great job at sucking up the water or what. -Interior detailing means they will vacuum your trunk, but not try to clean it (like they did to the interior carpets). When I pointed this out, the service man deflected with "Hey, it's a trunk, right? And it looks better than it did before." Which brings me to my next point -Personality. The serviceman was polite enough, but had enough of an edge that I knew either he had a really lousy day, or just didn't like his job. Passed blame onto someone else for not having fuel for his generator (I supplied him electric for his power tools). Because he was running behind, another guy showed up to help him out, who was taciturn but polite. In short, given how bad the interior was, and the cost (comparable or better to other places that had "interior only" packages), I'm okay, but not thrilled. read more

Well, today the one service person who showed up took so long that my car battery drained to the point it would not start. Eeek! I am OUT. I will not use them again. UPDATE: I wanted to take the time to give an update on this situation. I have received a complimentary wash and detail from Spiffy. Additionally, they have refunded me for my previous service. I will say that I am satisfied with this recent service and their technicians did a good job with the cleaning. Thank you for your attempts to make things right. I'm still standing by my original statement that this company needs work on communication between each other (departments) and communication with their clients. Great Service! I have a large truck and it normally does not get clean in auto-washes and drive-throughs; so I decided to give Spiffy a try. Got the appointment from the app, the guy arrived on time, and then WOW! My truck is so clean and shiny you would think it's new! The best part is this was all done when I was in a sales meeting at work! I was so shocked at how good it looked I took 3 colleagues out to take a look and now they are all booking appointments.
