Stopped by for a quick lunch before watching a movie, conveniently right across the street. The place is super cute and quaint, as if you are at a cafe in Paris. It has an old school rustic vibe with bistro tables inside and in the back area. We shared a steak sandwich and a side of truffle fries. The steak was tender and the bell peppers and arugula on a ciabatta bread were just perfection, so a 10/10. It comes with chips, and though I liked they were actually from real potatoes, it was a bit stale, so 6/10. Glad we got the side of truffle fries because that went perfectly with our sandwich 9/10. Service was also great. She made sure we got our food quickly, since we told her we were in a rush. If we had more time I would have gotten a coffee or pastry from their bakery, so I'll have to come back for that next time.

I've been here a year ago and truly enjoyed it. Last month I took my boyfriend and it wasn't that great. My sandwich was kinda flavorless and coffee was too watery. He got a croissant and that was great. The place is pretty popular so be ready to wait for table...and for the waiter to take your order. It took us around 30 mins to get the table and another 30-40 to place an order. They have a little cute patio in the back where you can enjoy sun (if it's not too hot hehe). Overall recommended.

There was no wait for 5 people for Friday lunch and there's a surprisingly large seating area behind the inside of the restaurant for those who want to sit outside. The dutch pancake was huge and tasted amazing. The warm beignets was great, especially with the lemon curd. I got the egg, turkey sausage and cheddar bagel and that was a huge mistake. It was the most unsatisfying things to eat because of how dry it was. None of the flavors seem to come out leaving you with a tasteless lump of food in your mouth. Everything else on the table was pretty solid though I just wouldn't get that dish again.

This is such a lovely bistro in Coronado, nestled in between the gym and another cafe, Clayton's Bakery & Bistro is a quaint spot for a sweet treat and some French-style food. We came during their happy hour which is daily from 3pm-7pm! Enjoyed a nice espresso martini which was seriously delicious, on their patio. Although my meal wasn't very French style at all, I still had an amazing steak sandwich and fries. The steak sandwich was dripping with juices, and sandwiched in between ciabatta roll, which was toasted and warm. It was recommended by our server, and I thank her for her recs! Lastly, we got to try some of their desserts. They were all delicious, and I enjoyed their Moon Pie the most. We actually had a hiccup with our meal (found something in the sandwich), but the service remained professional and was taken seriously. The food here is tasty, though and everyone is friendly. Through all that, I would still consider revisiting Clayton's again.

What a charming bistro and bakery for a Sunday brunch. Lovely French music and flair. We checked out the bakery while waiting. The last cinnamon roll had our name all over it. Sooo good. Chaga matcha mushroom latter with almond had a strong earthy and sweet flavor to it. Hit the spot. Veggie wrap with truffle fries no cheese was fresh, filling and delicious! Perfect weather to sit on front patio and enjoy Coronado.

Stopped in to try a few sweet treats- the place is so lovely and quaint! There were many amazing sweet options to choose from I had a hard time deciding ! I tried the Manhattan cookie and macaroons, which were very flavorful and delicious. Would definitely love to come back to try additional food and beverage items!

We stopped in for Sunday brunch after church and only had a short wait for a table for two. The service was prompt, welcoming, and very sweet and helpful. We chose to sit on the charming, cozy patio, which made for a really pleasant atmosphere. The drinks took a little while to arrive, but the rest of the service was excellent. The food was scrumptious--fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I also love that they have a bakery and coffee shop attached, which is such a nice bonus.

The coffee and croissant at Clayton's Bakery were both exceptional. The croissant is freshly baked on-site each morning and served warm and invitingly. The coffee provided the invigorating boost I needed on this specific morning. I look forward to my next trip to San Diego and a return visit to Clayton's Bakery.

So amazing! I'll admit I'm more of a breakfast person so I've never ordered a sandwich. The B.L.T was so good, made with applewood bacon, crisp fresh lettuce, garlic aioli on a toasted delicious croissant with everything seasoning . The best seating of course is in the back and pro tip they have a little parking lot in the alley. 9/10 recommended!!

This place is very cute. But the food is even better! Had a Hugo spritz, steak sandwich, and beignets. Really good dinner that was filling.

OMG.... We love this place. 2nd time coming here. We had to try their croissant sandwiches. They were HUGE and delicious. You can most definitely taste the quality. Customer service is on point & the ambiance is memorable. We can't wait to go back to try other menu items.

This place was lovely! One this however: do not confuse with the other Clayton's, which is a greasy spoon type joint- also looks good but they are different places. The atmosphere and decor transported me to Paris instantly! I came here for breakfast and got the yogurt bowl, which was extremely good, and my party also enjoyed their food as well. The wait staff was very friendly. This whole experience was great, highly recommend.

Yes of course! Looking forward to meeting the little pup!

Do you have seating for a group of 10?

Yes of course Brooke!! Come on in and enjoy our roasts from @cafemoto! You'll love it!

The employee helping everyone was so kind and helpful! I ordered a strawberry matcha croissant and a bag of 6 macarons. I had the croissant right there and took the macarons home to share with my family. The pastries were excellent. I really liked the matcha cream but there was too much strawberry jam/compote in my opinion. It was gushing out! Typically I feel that pastries don't have enough filling though so I think this is preferable to that, can always remove some extra filling if it's too much. Each macaron had a distinct unique flavor. Some were a bit hard but not sure if it's because I waited next day to eat them. The others were still perfect texture. Very cute and convenient spot. After enjoying my experience, I figured I would come back again on this trip. I ended up visiting it twice. While the service was rather good (though how fast or slow depended on the time of day, how many customers, and how many people are working) and the food itself was very tasty. On my first recent visit, I simply ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which was filling and tasty with heavy cheese which was nice and soft and rather melted. On my second visit, I came with my wife, and she ordered a grilled cheese sandwich (a bit more melted than mine by special request), and I ordered a Hot Dog Danish, which was a July special consisting of a flaky, buttery croissant dough filled with a 100% beef frank, ketchup, Dijon mustard, crispy onions, and fresh micro basil. While the croissant and condiments were nice and warm, the hot dog could have been warmer. It was still tasty. I thought about getting a Parisian hot chocolate, but I figured I had enough of a treat just in the meal itself. The service was good though rather slow on my first visit due to only one person working (as the other person was on break). It was much faster when I came back another day and two people were working. Parfait Paris started in 2014 with the first location opening in the Gaslamp quarter. Parfait Paris brings its French savoir-faire throughout its various locations, inviting people to taste the French Art de Vivre and celebrate its Gourmet Parisian heritage. They are now known for their desserts, macarons, crepes, and pastries. They also serve drinks. This Parfait Paris location is at the Coronado Ferry Landing. There are eight locations at this time of Parfait Paris plus an online commerce site. You can visit their website at https://parfaitparis.com/locations/coronado to order pickup or delivery, catering, an events calendar, and jobs. This location is open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 10 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 9 PM. I also joined a loyalty program where I enter my phone number upon each visit at checkout. I believe I have a promo I can use on my next visit. I certainly plan to come back again when I am visiting Coronado in the future!
