Disappointing. Sandwich had very little chicken and a lot of cheese that was too strong for the rest of the ingredients (Swiss maybe?) and that's all you can taste. Fries were inedible -- cold and tasted like they had been fried days ago in even older oil. The pink sauce is just mayo and ketchup and the green sauce tasted like someone got the recipe wrong -- nothing like any green sauce in any other Peruvian chicken place (and not in a good way). Stopped by for a late weekday lunch (around 1:45pm). I got a white meat 1/4 chicken, corn, and plantains. The chicken was flavorful but the skin wasn't that crispy and the meat tasted like it may have been sitting out for a while. Areas of skin weren't crisp so the cool skin/seasoning combo was a little weird. This place has great reviews though so maybe I visited at an off time. Plantains were tasty and the corn was just corn. I also wish I would have known about this lunch special for 7.50. I spent $11 for my meal and a water. Went here for the first time tonight. Hands down best Peruvian I've had in this area. The chicken was moist and crisp at the same time. The flavors were on point. The pinto beans?! Freaking awesome...but the real steal of the night were those yuca cheesy balls. Those glorious mounds of calories that just melted in my mouth. Holy crap were they good!! Thank goodness one order came w 5 balls or I would have looked like a total fat ass ordering 4 more :) My kids, ages 3 and 6 loved it too. The food is always great, it's tasty and moist. I've never had any issues with the flavor of the food. However, I advise that customer's ALWAYS TRIPLE CHECK THEIR ORDERS! it's been a constant problem that my orders are wrong and inconsistent. The workers who package the food don't pay attention to the tickets and it's extremely irritating to get home with a take out order, only to realize you have the wrong food items in your containers. The owners are so nice and try their best but their workers are always so distracted! I highly recommend that every customer pay close attention to their orders before leaving the restaurant with their orders to make sure you received what you pay for. read more

Went on opening weekend and then again about a week after, the service is on point, the food is freshly prepared and to die for!!! I've had the lomo saltado and the ceviche and both dishes are deliciously made. The lomo datado y perfectly seasoned with nice crisp fries, the ceviche has just enough of a kick to it. This place was awesome and very well located! I needed to beat traffic going into Arlington so I decided to stop by for some food. Not only was everything extremely clean but I loved seeing the kitchen and food out on display, brings comfort to know how and where your food is being cooked. Other than the delicious chicken and fried rice, the yuquita balls are to die for! Not a common side dish you see on menus but it was an excellent compliment to my meal. Honestly I would eat those alone from how delicious they are. Lastly, don't leave without trying their passion fruit juice, another item I was delightfully surprised with. Food is always delicious. No matter we order, we are always pleased. We have found that sometimes the kitchen can be a little slow but it's a minor and rare enough issue that it doesn't bother us. I would recommend to others that if you are ordering take out to go pick it up yourself if you can. The drivers for the various food delivery services seem to take forever to pick up orders from this place. I don't know what the issue is with delivery drivers, but we've found it's best to go in and pick it up ourselves. read more

This is one of my favorite chicken spots in the area so it saddens me to write this review, as my current experience was below average. Don't get me wrong, the food is great!! I would chose this place over other chicken spots because their chicken is always crispy, juicy and never dry. And their sides are always enjoyable. However, I cannot ignore what happened to me Sunday night when I decided to get spin pollo for takeout. I decided to call ahead of time so that when I got there, my food would be ready. I called the store and a lady picked up and almost immediately put me on hold. But she didn't actually put me on hold because I could still hear all the background noise and conversations. I heard her talk to the staff, and at one point talk to another customer taking their order and then someone complimenting another person on their nails...at this point I was annoyed and hung up. I tried calling back but both times it went straight to an automatic voice that said "I'm sorry but the person you are trying to reach is unavailable". OK So now my bf and I decide to go straight to the store and order in person. We get there and it's not that busy. One guy was ahead of us ordering. When its our turn, I make a separate order to go for my mom. First thing I noticed was the price change from the last few times I was there. It's ok if you want to change your prices but at least make sure the menu you post on your business page reflects that. The next thing is we wanted to get the dark meat but we were told that the wait would be 40 minutes (this was around 7:30ish and they close at 9 pm). OK, so we get the white meat with two sides. We tried to explain that we wanted two separate orders of half chicken with their two sides but the lady told us that would basically be a whole chicken and we should get that instead because it would save us money. Ok never mind, so we decide to both get 1/4 chicken with the two sides. But for some reason she rang us up for one order of Half chicken with two sides. We didn't realize that she made this mistake until a few minutes later looking back at the receipt. So I go back up to the register and ask her about it and explain to her what we wanted and she apologizes and admits she wanted to save us some money. (Ok that's nice of you but I just really want the food that I asked for!) I pay for the other two sides and we eventually get our food. I will say the lady at the register did apologize a few times and personally handed us our food which was nice of her but this experience was incredibly frustrating. I love their food but this time, the customer service was lacking. The few times that I have gone here it was usually the owners of the business at the register but this night it was someone else. read more

The best Peruvian style chicken I've had, and I have been in this area for 21 years. The chicken is juicy and the flavor is the best; I can eat it often without getting bored. I love the yuca too, very crispy and soft inside. I give it 5 stars because everything here is really good, rice, beans, plantains, yuca balls. And they also have great Latin dishes like carne asada which I tried recently and it's so good! The place looks modern, it's clean, the staff wears uniform and they play the part.
