Experienced the same thing as the last person to write a review (Trevor) . I went in Saturday night after work to get my 6 month old a last minute costume not realizing I grabbed the wrong size. So I went in the next day after my shift to see if I could get the correct size, the manager Angel said no! After being persistent and asking for a one time exception she said fine. Angel I want to say thank you even though I know you really didn't want to exchange my daughters costume but because you did she looked absolutely adorable. I had purchased a costume for my daughter that said 3+. She is six so I figured thats perfect because she is petite. I was thinking maybe we should make sure it fits and omg it was far too big. I brought it back today for an exchange. The manager had said that the exchange policy has expired. I challenged/ pushed her to give me a break. Politely I hope. She did.. and I just wanted to say thank you again for giving me a break. The costume was still unworn and in its original packaging. I had a receipt. (I think that helps) . This is beyond ridiculous, why would you sell something that's ripped and stained. They have a no return policy, and this is flat out sad that this store would sell used dirty items. Now my child will have nothing to wear. Will be going to this store tomorrow. They take advantage of customers. As a customer you should make sure you're selling NEW costumes. Best place in my opinion for Halloween shopping loved all the animatronics, but I just wished they had a bit more options for scary costumes

I took my two kids today to look at what they might want to be for Halloween and we got glow in the dark spiffed webs as well as a bloody hand print gel clings for A window. It cost $5. When I opened it most the fingers broke and it wouldn't even stick!! Such a waste of money and a rip off. I tried to piece it back together with my Kids but it was not sticking. Don't buy the window stick ons!!! I hate throwing money down the drain and I just did. lesson learned. read more

Where is that pirate ship mateys? I told my co-workers we should do a group Halloween costumes. I decided we should do Pirate costume. Fun stuff, we are an Engineering group and like to do fun stuff together. I was impressed that this Spirit Halloween store had six different men's costumes plus the sexy pirate wench outfits. Plus all of the accessories...swords, hats, boot covers , eye patches, pirates bootie, blood and face make-up I chose a costume with all of the major components ie. shirt, pants, bandana, and added the the pirate cutlass sword. For the Halloween parties this store features scary wall posters, skeletons, body parts, all of the ghouly stuff you can imagine. Supposedly the day after Halloween the store has a big 50% off sale. Was excited to get off work early to find a quick costume to go to the club on this Halloween weekend in the city, I ran in and ended up grabbing a prisoner romper which I instantly fell in love with. I also got fishnets and a bloody knife prop which was cool. I go home to try on the costume and it was empty just paper so I gone back, already having a lot of anxiety because I'm going to be late to school and I'm wasting my gas to go inside again. I go up to the girl who sold it super chill girl, she calls her manager over for and "exchange" but she made it more than clear I had stolen this costume. I was annoyed and just wanting to switch this costume for another one that wasn't even my size because they had low stock. I'd take anything at this point. I went back to find the same one and half of them were empty. I should have looked, my bad, the register lady should have seen her bad, as a human, we make mistakes. Please don't accuse me of stealing while threatening she'll replay the cameras to see if lost prevention sees the costume in the bag. She continues to say "I guess I'll give you your money difference". I left telling her I didn't appreciate her assuming I'd steal. Not considering I came back with my receipt super bubbly and happy., wasted my gas, and was late to school. Fantastic store!!!! This place is a hidden gem. Went to party city first and it was a zoo so decided to check out this place instead. It was MUCH better and only a few customers empty! Lots of great costumes, the workers were awesome and the prices reasonable. Plus if you reference the sign on the door you get 20% off your first item. I was in and out in 10 minutes including trying on costume. The attendant at the counter was very kind to my 1 year old. They are a little hard to find (small sign) but they are right next door to the UFC gym. read more

Bought my son a halloween costume 2 days ago, forgot to grab the receipt after getting my change (my bad!) go to the store to at least get store credit and they couldnt do anything! Not to mention neither girl even knew how to do the transaction anyway! They had to go over about 5 different people they could or couldnt call for help. I understand its my fault for not grabbing my receipt but still to not even give credit? I purchased two of their 2$ bracelets for donation and even pointed that out to them!
