Chico's best classic deli. From the moment you enter, it's evident that this is a special spot. The venue is in an awkward location, at the end of a rundown strip mall with zero visibility from the street. This allows for a ton of parking right out front which is actually very convenient. I'm sure this place has been here for years and years. Walk inside, and you'll find yourself in the most classic of delis out there. Red checkered tablecloths, freshly-sliced meats, an old-school beverage refrigerator, lots of seating. Their sandwiches are made with the best of ingredients, and they're made with care. The line can get long during the lunch rush but is completely worth it. Each sandwich I've gotten from here has been exceptional. One thing I've noted is that the filling will slide out of you squeeze the bread from the center, but it's never an issue if I hold the sandwich from its base. I'm getting hungry just thinking about Spiteri's. Can't wait to go back. read more

5 stars for service. I WANT to love their sandwiches and spend my money with local businesses vs. my deli sandwich staple which is Safeway. The issue I have is the bread. Dutch CRUNCH. There's absolutely nothing crunchy or crispy or anything about their dutch crunch bread. Imagine basically a dry sponge. Stopped in this quaint old fashioned deli to pick up lunch for five. We were just minutes before the lunch crowd showed up. We were immediately greeted and our orders taken by a very friendly and knowledgeable lady. Our orders were promptly made just as ordered. We got back to the house and ate them up to a chorus of yums. A few opted to save half for dinner. I'd definitely come back. read more

Been coming here for over 20 years.Not what it used to be. The love is gone from the sandwichs. Cold French dip sandwich? Soggy bread before I even dipped it. Thick sliced and folded sandwich meat not thin and stacked. Cold cheese. The au jus was the best part of my meal. Potato salad tasted like pre packaged. Nothing special and way too sweet. Our other sandwich (Turkey and swiss)bread was dry and soggy at the same time. Poorly constructed with a thick unseperated onion. The paper wrappers were the only thing that made these deli sandwichs. I could have done better at home. read more

What a great place, I walk in behind several other people. there were 3 ladies taking orders. I placed my order within 3 minutes. It was very nice to hear employees all working together, I had just left a place down the street. I got my sandwich the quality, favor, and amount of meat was awesome. The huge deli case of pickled things as well as all the delicious salads is awesome! Who could be mad with three types of potato salad?! Went in for the first time today. Woman taking my order was so sweet and patient with me while I figured out what I wanted. Sandwich was LOADED with meat. Dutch crunch could've been a little toastier but that's my personal preference. Otherwise, fresh yummy ingredients. Thanks to their 1/4 mini cups, I even got to try a few sides. I wish I could give 5 stars but I had a very bad experience with some employees who were just getting off work. I was there with my 2 year old and sitting in a booth with two employees in a booth behind me constantly using the F word. And we're also talking down about stay at home moms (which I am one) and how stay at home moms don't work for a paycheck and they do. And that we just get handed money. Really?!?! Also the most stay at homes do is maybe empty the dishwasher. I have never been so upset by a restaurant. The sandwich was good, some employees were nice, but these two "girls" need to be dealt with. I had let an employee know about the situation so who knows if it was actually dealt with. read more

BOMB! Holy cow. I've been looking for a place like this. Tried out fast eddies and was super disappointed so I didn't have high hopes but man. My sandwich was fully loaded and so fresh tasting. Got two different sides one being the broccoli salad and the other macaroni salad and so so good. I only got a half sandy and for 4.99 it was massive and perfect. I will definitely be back. Only down fall is they aren't open on Sundays when we love a good sandwich and a hike. read more

Great sandwich joint! I've had they're Dutch crunch and it was amazing. The location is tucked away in a suite and the atmosphere is okay, but it's a deli with great sandwiches. Service is fast and friendly. Wish it wasn't tucked away too far but I do try to make it an effort to go here. Would recommend. read more
