I hadn't read all the negative reviews before I went and I believe that these customers did have a horrible experience. I simply needed a car wash inside and out, and it was on my route. I guess I was fortunate, because I was very happy with the work they did. Excellent vacuuming of the interior. The console screen was streaked, but clean. And my car came out immaculate and dried sufficiently. Maybe it's a matter of expectations. We live in a time now where car washes are no longer inexpensive. And we should expect a lot for over $20. But I felt satisfied with my experience because my expectations are simply that my car will be clean and that nothing will be damaged. On that basis, I was happy. read more

Had a horrible experience at this car wash. I was a member of their unlimited car wash club. Paid $47 per month. Brought my new car in on 4/27/21. Walked around the car prior to bringing It in to make sure it was dirty enough. At end of wash, heard a loud noise as the car was exiting the conveyer belt. When the car was released there was a big gouge in the passenger and rear door. I pointed it out. Employees huddled for 3-4 minutes before a manager said the damage didn't happen there. I asked if they have cameras going in and out and was told I don't have any access to view. I complained to Splash Customer Service. Was told to put everything in writing and send pictures of damage a e copy of receipt. I did on 4/30. Almost a month later and they have yet to address the damage. To add insult to injury, they charged my credit card for the month of May ($47) even though I told them I don't wish to be a car was club member. Avoid at all costs. My wife got a car wash on 9/11 and after she got home she noticed a crack in the windshield. She went back and ask Anthony the manager to check their cameras but unfortunately it didn't show anything . Later that night I checked my dash cam and it clearly showed that there wasn't a crack in the windshield prior, and showed the crack while it was being dried. I then called back on Tuesday when Anthony the manager was in. I explained to him about my dash cam , he then went on the defensive and kept saying their equipment couldn't do this. The man kept talking over me and would not let me talk, so unprofessional and such a lack of management skills. He then told me to take up with corporate. I called right after and left a message, to my surprise they called me right back. The women was apologetic and explained that he should of written a incident report. She proceeded to open an incident report and told me that a regional manager would be in contact. Unfortunately 13 days later I've still not received a call back, I've called them at least 10 times and left a bunch of messages. Still no call back. So my last post i was told they missed their mark and to give another try so I did and yet again mark must have been missed again. I had to clean grill and glass. Dirt marks all over. Not one worker came over to assist in the car wash mistake as they watched me clean my own car over. If your looking for a good car wash neither one of the 2 places are the spot....let me guess come by maybe this time they will correct it or the mark was set too high. My wife and I signed up for unlimited monthly car washes. They damaged her new car (some scratches to paint within first 2 months of ownership) and my truck (damaged both wheels of new tires on left side on inside side from months of using the place). Both of our claims were quickly denied, and the process and reasons given for denying them where jokes and lies). Beware of this place. My first time there because my usual place by the Greenburgh police station is undergoing construction. Never again. I paid $31 for a super wash and I ended up buying the $59 unlimited monthly because we ski and the car gets super dirty in the winter. Well once I saw how clean my car was NOT on the inside, I will not be going back and I will cancel the unlimited. I was told the rubber mats were "extra" and they didn't wipe down my dash seats or side steps. At other local places, these things are all included, especially when you pay for the top car wash. The most unethical local business around. I went in for a carwash in late August and they signed me up for their special unlimited package without explanation or my knowledge. In September they charged me $55.00. I called right away to "cancel" a service that I had unknowingly signed up for. 3 weeks later and they still have not refunded me properly. I've called multiple times and either my calls are not returned or I am told conflicting information each time. Stay away from Splash! read more

Splash is open now. I get monthly exterior and have not had it done since early March? I am looking forward to going back. There really is not another car wash that is as good in our area, even the other Splash. I will update my review. If you only get the $10 car wash, they do their best, but seriously, they hardly get paid for water and soap, let alone details. I tend to clean my inside myself now. I always tip generously. It is a big job drying all those cars. read more

Only go to this car wash for an exterior wash with tire shine, seats express wash if you have stained/dirty cloth seats, and the basic monthly exterior wash deal. Everything else is not worth it because it is not vacuumed/cleaned well. T read more

Since I just bought a new SUV 2 months ago I thought it would be smart to buy the Monthly Car wash pass...all i can say is DON'T DO IT!! Waste of money...they don't clean the windows...don't use Armorall...they barely vacuumed. After going 5x's in 2 weeks...my husband told me that I need to get the SUV cleaned!!! They automatically charge my card for the next month...you have to go in to cancel your "membership". When I went in they never asked why...I told them anyway...they could care less. Just left, very poor quality clean for $18.41. Heard a radio ad Sunday, $5 wash, but "sorry that was last week". Specifically asked vacuum trunk, they didn't. Did a bad job on the interior vacuum, which I pointed out. Not his job, it's the other guy's. About 1 minute wipe down. I can get much better service for much less $ I will not be going back, even though I live 1/2 mile away. read more

My mats were still dirty with sand still on them, inside cup holder filthy, dirt all around the doors. You would never have known I had gone at all. So disappointed! The exterior was pretty clean, but rear window was still dripping and smudgy. The interior was not cleaned - only vacuumed. The cup holders and side bins still had crumbs in them and the dashboard looked barely wiped. No way was this a $25 Gold level wash! The old owners did a better job. read more

Worst car wash ever! Bad cleaning and bad management. Minimal vacuuming done. They didn't even wipe down the dashboard. You don't get the cleaning service you pay for. They pushed me to drive away quick because they were busy. I turned around to complain about the dusty dash to the floor manager. He asked me to leave. That was awful. I'm surprised reading the previous reviews. I think the people who have opened the Splash car wash on Central Ave are doing a better job than the same site did before. To be honest, I have the unlimited exterior everything deal and then I had them do an express detail on my black SUV. I had scratches I thought would require a body shop that they magically removed, and the color of my black truck is now so much deeper than when it is just clean. All with a smile and a great price. I actually prefer to take care of the interior of my vehicles most of the time; it does take longer than a car wash place can give to get the nooks and crannies vacuumed and the interior windows clean. But the exterior? This place does a great job both for the regular car wash and the detail guys. Shout out to Anthony, who was the point person on my detail, and to whomever worked on my truck. It was a pleasure to see a grand opening due to new owners for the Car Wash on Central Avenue. Unfortunately, my first experience left my husband and I agreeing that we would not return. As we waited our turn, we were approached well in advance of seeing any prices (which appeared to be efficient). We requested a internal and external clean/wash. We were then given a receipt for approximately $23. We proceeded to the front of the line, got out of the car and walked directly to the register. After paying I turned around, directly from the register and noticed a sale sign ($5 exterior, $10 exterior "the works"). Sadly I did not take any pictures to verify the signs. However, what occurred next was appalling. When we noticed the difference in our purchase price, we informed the cashier and the individual (the worker) who took our initial request outside (who walked in as we were speaking to the cashier). The worker stated you should have noticed the sign in order to get the sale price!! This was the first time I believe the sale sign was noticeable. Regardless neither offered to provide the nominal refund. I would like to mention that it's not about the price, it's about the principal. And if the owners have individuals such as these for employees, I can't imagine why this is a trustworthy business for me to buy into for their services. That's a no for me, family and my friends. This was my first time getting a car was under the new ownership. As a previous reviewer noted the "sale" price was never mentioned, which in and of itself should have told me something. When I got out of the car as opened the back and asked if they would vacuum the back as it was a bit of a mess with leaves. The person i spoke to said, "Absolutely and thank you for coming." I walked off toward the register thinking it was a done deal. It was busy so I got into the car an pulled away when the wash was "complete". There was dust on the dash and the windows were half dried, ugh! I later stopped at a store and when I opened the the trunk area to load my purchases I saw that they never vacuumed at all, even after me opening the back and requesting it. This was the worst car wash I've ever received and it was not cheap. I will NOT return to this or any of their locations. Disgusting!!!!! read more
