I received a response stating I'm sorry, we don't have anything available until next week, so I'm thinking to myself cool I can perhaps reschedule for next week. So I asked what days she had available. Response back was It would take a lot of shuffling of the schedule to accommodate a different appointment for your dog as We service your area very infrequently. If you can, please keep what you have. Okay so I'm thinking to myself why tell me you have available spots and now telling me as a customer to keep what I have?! Strange so I tell her I have a scheduling conflict and may need to change the appt to a different day. Response back was I will get back to you. I'm not sure we will be able to continue providing services for you as your schedule is constantly changing and as I explained, we service your are very infrequently. I'm thinking to myself my schedule isn't set in stone and most definitely not mine things change and things come up. My response was you said you had availability next week and can she let me know the days as I may have a scheduling conflict as I mentioned before. A delay in response but she text back stating I will get back to you. I understand, but if we can't accommodate the changes it might be best to find someone that is in your area more often andhas a more flexible schedule. By this time I'm a little irritated with all this back and forth, just let me know what you have available and I'll decide the rest. Next text response is Our office opens at 9AM You will hear from me after that. Again I'm thinking to myself why are you responding to me before your business opens now all of a sudden you want to communicate at 9 ugh ok. Some Of the things she is telling me is uncalled for so I tell her that. I asked whom I was talking to and she said Heather I'm the scheduling and operations manager. I gave her some advice on being more professional and having a business mindset. No way to talk to customers, well text since this is all she does, someone is giving you business and you want to get snarky? Received another text after I told her about being professional, the text stated I am canceling your appointment on Saturday and will not be rescheduling your dog. No further services will be provided. Have a nice day. I couldn't do nothing but laugh. Truth and fact of the matter is have some business etiquette even if you are texting and accept the feedback I gave you not cancel my appt and being mad shows your unprofessionalism. Less is better over text and all that extra you was telling me wasn't necessary. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Have a blessed day and work on having a business mindset.

He is a rescue and came with a bit of anxiety. Michael has a natural ability to work with dogs like Kobe. He has such a sweet and kind personality which my dog needs and has built a really loving relationship with my dog. Kobe does so well with his grooming sessions and comes out looking so majestic. We highly recommend Michael, although we know he is very busy. We are patient and understanding with his schedule. It is best to book a few months out since Michael has a lot of regular clients he cares for. We are so grateful to be one of them!

Accommodate Debbie! Not your pet!…read more I don't like to leave negative reviews especially for small businesses but I felt this was important to let other dog owners know. I brought my small Yorkie here for the majority of my dogs life (he's now 12 yrs old). Unfortunately, last year my dog was diagnosed with brain cancer, and as a result he tends to be sensitive around the face / head area and the vet said to not have the loop around his neck for grooming due to the sensitivities. I let Debbie know and she began giving us a super hard time for grooming. Super rigid, like he could only come in at 7 am w no other dogs around, I had to bathe him myself, she'd only do a shave with no styled haircut or anything, then booked me like 4-5 weeks out every time, and charged me extra for what she called "express grooming". Made it nearly impossible to get in and very stressful. Not to mention when I'd go in there, she'd make backhanded comments about what I should and shouldn't be doing for him, like dog mom shaming me almost, completely unwarranted. I really held back on letting her have it a few times because I just wanted my dog to get groomed at the same place he has always been familiar with and not change his routine with a new groomer being older now and with his condition. This went on a few months since his diagnosis. Well last week I called in to get him groomed, no answer, left a voicemail. No response. Called and left messages a few times over the next week, No response. They're not avoiding me right??? Well they can't be closed down. This is weird. I finally got a text message from Debbie saying they can't service my dog at this time in his life. I was like are you kidding me?? We have given you all of this business, all of these years while he's perfectly healthy, now that he needs an accommodation and finding him a new groomer will be stressful for both of us, you're bailing on us?? She then went on to tell me he should be groomed at the vet hospital- typical Debbie- unwarranted comments on what owners should and shouldn't be doing with their animals. As if I'm not obsessed with my dog as it is and take better care of him than I do of myself. Luckily, I found him an excellent groomer very quickly who accommodated him no problem, and my dog came out super cute and in great spirits. God knew my dog deserved better and thankfully it all worked out. As for Debbie, she took my money for 12 yrs and bailed as soon as my dog needed an accommodation. Unethical, rude and far too rigid to be a business owner. If you won't accommodate an animal with a special need, you will never have my business when my animals are healthy either. Be warned pet owners.

Haha True story? Maybe A Hook just to grab your attention?? Probably Will you ever know the truth??? Absolutely Not ;) But hey, you made it this far, so let's just keep on going. Approximately a year or so ago... I was shopping at my local Trader Joe's and in the parking lot (NO, there were no dogs on the loose), but there was a table set up with 2 girls advertising a new Dog Salon that was opening right next to T.J.'s. As we were on the hunt for a new dog groomer (our last one turned out to be a nightmare), we were excited to know that one was coming soon and it was literally right down the street from our house. So I took a business card and asked how comfortable they were with working with Pugs (which are not big fans of getting their nails clipped) to which they replied "they could absolutely do it." Within a week from my initial interaction with the 3 Tails staff in the parking lot, I made an appointment with the gal behind the counter named X.O. Little did I know then, but X.O. would soon be the one who would always ensure our sweet pug named Teddy was in good hands every time we would bring him here for a nail trim. X.O., you truly are the BEST!!! Since Teddy's first nail clipping here, we have been back pretty much every 2 to 3 weeks and over time, Teddy has seemed to get less and less anxious when it came time to go in for a nail trimming. In the beginning, I'll admit that I too would be a little anxious and would nervously wait for him right outside while he was in the back getting his nails done. Nowadays, I just drop him off with no cares in the world and go shopping at T.J's. Within 20 minutes or so, my Teddy boy is ready for pick up and he seems to be unfazed. I truly believe that it's the 3 Tails Team that works their magic and their genuine love for dogs brings a calmness not only to the dogs themselves, but also to their nervous-nelly pet owners (aka me). We have an 11 yo Australian Shepherd Red Tri - see the pics. We had been going to Land of Paws who did a wonderful job. But, now our dog is older and has arthritis and stage 2 kidney disease - we thought we'd find a mobile groomer. The 1st grooming Cesar and Berenice did was good. I told them trim on butt, legs and the long hair that hangs toward the ground. I pointed toward her forelegs and said not too much so they trimmed all the rest but not that part, which I noticed after and didn't make sense. The 2nd photo I posted is how she looked after that grooming. The fee was almost three times what we paid at Land of Paws, but Cesar said it was a lot of work. For the 2nd grooming, we decided to get all her fur trimmed to help her cool off from the summer heat. I told Berenice we wanted an all over trim and I said "to about an inch." Berenice replied that she would shave her, that she'd been doing that for customers and they love it. Not knowing then what I know now, I hesitantly agreed, figuring she knew what she was doing. I went back to work and texted my husband, who replied "do not shave!" I ran back out, but it was too late. Shepherds have a double coat. Shaving totally takes away their protection from cuts, insect bites, the cold and sun burn. Furthermore, the fur may not grow back the same way, so her beautiful coat could be ruined forever. I am just sick because I did not know this - my husband did - and there is nothing we can do. A GROOMER SHOULD KNOW THIS, AND THEY SHOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SHAVING over the customers requested way to groom their dog breed. My husband, who raised our dog from a puppy, believes the 2nd grooming job basically amounted to dog abuse and should be reported to some authority. They charged us the same fee as the first grooming, even though shaving was way easier and quicker than all the trimming, combing and drying they did the first time ! I sent a text to Cesar explaining all of this with links to articles about why you should never shave a double coated dog. He never apologized or anything - just asked for a photo (he was not at the 2nd grooming). I now recognize that anyone can say they are a groomer, but I think they should get trained and maybe certified first. There are three major sources for certification in the U.S. Two are the National Dog Groomers Association of America and the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists. I hope this review will prompt groomers to research each breed before they groom to make sure they do what's right for that breed, and I hope it will educate dog owners and motivate them to research their dog's breed and know that not all groomers are trained and knowledgeable, let alone certified.
