They had so many windows around the ceiling, the store was full of sunlight, felt so nice. Like many other Dick's store, they had all the popular sections like baseball, softball, football, tennis, fishing, biking, golf, racket sports, sneakers and huge displays of apparels from different brands. I explored the store for about half an hour. They have lots of World Cup 2026 merchandises. I was looking for sporting shorts and found some I liked in Adidas section. The prices were slightly higher compared to Adidas' website. Some of the staff members I talked to were friendly.

Yikes. Came here to buy some Oregon Ducks gear and a Blazer hoodie I saw someone wearing at the game. Two specific items, and 10 minutes wondering aimlessly to find the items or an employee to help me. They do have a huge assortment of clothing, and in every color of the rainbow, not just basic black. I appreciate that. But I'm not a fan of bigger is better, and prefer shopping at smaller Dick's locations like the one in Lake Oswego. so much easier to find what you need, and get in and out of the store quickly.

Clearly just not a great environment for him and who knows how long he had been there that day, he was very loud and chaotic and just being a kid. I kept hearing the staff member who was the kids caretaker harshly reprimanding him, borderline yelling. I get it's stressful to have to bring a child to work with you but it's not his fault. There were like no customers in the store and it was pretty quiet in there so hearing him being a crazy kid & then this woman loudly reprimanding him was very hard to ignore. I looked at bags for a really long time, and no one offered to help. Many of the hanging bags were missing identifying tags, so I was going back and forth trying to match the samples to the shelved bags for sale. Eventually I pick one, buy it and leave. I go home, open it up and it's just not what I had expected. It was huge, and very heavy. Today I brought it back for a return and had no problem. I went back to the sleeping bags to reassess what was available and that same woman who was yelling at the kid the day before, (who was not the employee to process my return) likely didn't realize I was the person who brought in the return and with a very nasty and annoyed tone she said something about how the sleeping bag policy she be like the air mattress policy - which is that they won't let you return it if you opened it. Her energy was terrible two days in a row, just totally drab and on edge. I maybe would have stuck around and kept looking at other sleeping bag options, probably would have bought a new one if someone stopped leaning on a counter talking shit about other employees to ask if I needed assistance, but instead I left. I didn't want to hear her drone on about how annoying everything is, customers/policies/coworkers alike (major projection) The pink haired woman needs training on customer service Big 5 has an opportunity to get some new regulars with the closing of next adventure - which had inherited many regulars from the outdoor store when that closed a few years back. It would be wise to have employees who are passionate about outdoor gear and the experiences customers have with the gear and in their stores, because that's what keeps people shopping. Reliable return policies are how you get customers to try things out and find what works for them. You retain those customers by showing some effort, curiosity and really helping them. That's how you sell products. Guess I'll be going to REI.

4/30/22 @ 10:32am Store 00233…read more Just came back from Big Dirty 5 No customer service sporting goods!! Wow where to start. Well store opened at 9am my husband and I were literally second customers of the day!! First customer was greeted by Jacob "store manager". We walked in and no greeting seemed like he forgot how to speak or was shocked by our high vibration. First thing I noticed is HOW DIRTY THIS PLACE IS!!!!!! Stuff unorganized and on the floor boxes are opened. Trash everywhere I mean everywhere like they had no vacuum cleaner so they said F it. I got some items asked if I can try them on the girl that was working with the manager was also rude didn't ask if we need help I had to go up to both of them while they were chatting away. I asked to try on the items I found. As she opens the door to the fitting room I was literally like WTF!! Fitting room looked like musicians crashed a hotel see posted photos. Mirror was grimey as heck something broken on the ground a piece of wood idk. Litter on the floor. That whole store was just ewwwwww... as a former manager of retail stores I would never have a store like that or let my employees walk around not doing anything they had so much things they could've been doing. There store needs to get checked up on by DM or a RM. They also should be trained on customer service, attentiveness, knowing products. Will not be coming back to THIS location again!!!!

She got us set up and took our drink order. She informed me they had clubs we could borrow since we didn't bring any. Every bag was completely mixed up with different clubs: Left handed clubs with right handed clubs, women's clubs with men's clubs, etc. After letting her know, she tells me she can have someone fix them but it would be a while. Kinda set the tone for the rest of the evening. She brings us one drink and then she disappeared for the entire two hours of the rental. We finish the rental and I am waiting to pay for my drink. Again.. complete ghost town.. no staff. Walk into the pro shop they have... no one there. No one at the bar, no one anywhere. I wait 20 minutes and finally someone comes out of a back door and asks if we need anything - we pay, leave. Definitely will not return. Super unprofessional experience all around.

Wow - this place is a trip and a half! It is an expensive trip and a half, but that's kind of golf…read morein a nutshell anyway, so let's have fun doing it! A couple buddies and I drove 2 hours up to Hillsboro to make a day of the area and started with Topgolf. Never been to one before and weren't sure what to expect. The guy that greeted us was all that helpful with we needed to do. I had to give my name, number, and email, which was fine. I chose an hour and the guy told me that we had the hour and could extend for up to 30 minutes as there was another party that was going to use our bay after that. Armed with only the bay number to go and find, we left the counter without knowing what we needed to go. Once we got to our bay, there is a tablet device that wanted me to pick from one of the 5 or 6 available games. As I had no clue what any of them were, I didn't know what to pick. Thankfully, there is an employee that is outside in the bays to help with things and he got us on track. Weirdly enough, if I wanted my friends to have their own names (to see who won each game), they would have to spend $6 for memberships of their own. That's not cool. The kid that came over was kind enough to set it up so that we could have 3 different names for the games and he picked the first game for us. He also explained how the ball was dispensed, that there is a QR code on the table if we wanted to order food, and to have fun. The balls have trackers in them, so after you hit it, the TV screen in every bay will show a digital view of how the ball flew through the air, where it landed, and how many points were earned with each shot. So you hit the ball, you watch it land, and then everyone turns to the TV to see how many points were registered. Pretty simple. Everyone got 5 shots per round and there were 3 rounds the first game we played. After we got done with the first game, we chose a 2nd one that played a little differently. Much more important to hit the circular netted targets on the large field to score points. I wanted to order food, but it was a chore. First, the QR code made me download the Topgolf app. Not the end of the world, I guess. I found the food and added to my cart. I couldn't figure out how to "sign in" to the bay so that I could actually order the food (you can't order it until you are in the bay - which we already were). I tried several times before I found a login area and it auto-logged me into my bay. If it were that easy and I approved the app to see my location, why didn't it auto-login me in to my bay? Now that I know, I know - but we waited 12 minutes while I figured it out (and had to play a round in the middle of it) before we could get our food ordered. The food was decent. I got regular fiesta nachos and a side of fries. For the price, they are OK, but there wasn't much on the nachos and the fries needed ketchup (or ranch, or some kind of dipping sauce, and they came with none). We finished up our 2nd game right about the time that our gametime expired. The game froze up with 15 minutes left to see if we wanted to extend our game time and I couldn't figure out why the ball wouldn't release for my turn until someone pointed to the tablet. All told, for the fiesta nachos, fries, and an hour of golfing, it was about $70 (plus the tip). Not egregious, but you can get a lot more out of $70 than an hour and snack bites for that amount. We also played just before noon, so we got the lowest per/hour rate. It would have been more if we had shown up later. Still - I would definitely come back. There was plenty of room for more people, although we'd have to play longer to get through the games with more players. Food ordering would be more simple. We didn't try any drinks, but we were brought ice water when we got to our bay. Overall, it is a fun place and not a bad way to spend a little bit of time - if you are good with the pricing.
