This review is just for the FREE 3-day overnight RV parking: Most Casino's these days are NO longer allowing RV overnight parking unless you are renting one of their rooms, which makes sense to some.... However, this Casino is the few who are still friendly and allow a 24/48/72 hours passes you get at the Security window that you place on your RV window as they do have visible Tribe Police Officers along with Armed Gunman Security inside as well ..... Strong Team that makes this Parking lots of RV's Mixed with lots of Semi's feel adventurous as well ..... Highly recommend this for a 3-day pit-stop.... P.S They have a 24-hours Cafe inside ..... Will be Reviewing it Next time for you guys

This is my 2nd visit. Both have been for comedy shows in the showroom. It's a small casino but there's been improvement since my last visit 2 years ago. I can't really say how the actual casino itself is because I have not gambled here. This is a casino right off the freeway. Well lit inside and not much food options.

"Home made" as claimed Chili and Soups all tasted like out of a can. Chili most definitely Smart and Final canned.

We like it just wish the food was better. Lots of gaming options, lots of parking, welcoming and clean. We've eaten our way around the food places and nothing remarkable.

They're celebrating 29 years this year. Opened in 1999. Approaching the Desert on I-10 south on our annual week long golf getaway, hubby noticed a billboard about Kenny G performing at a casino. We googled it later and found he's playing at Spotlight casino in Coachella. Where's that we wondered. After dinner in Indio we decided to check out the casino. We entered the casino and asked the security guard by the entrance. He noticed the box office was closed but said we could purchase show tickets at the cashier's. So we hustled over to cashier window. They use Ticketmaster and claim you avoid an additional service fee although we did pay one of $6 plus $43.50 for ticket. The showroom holds about 2k. There's no bad seat as it's a small venue. All the folding chairs are attached. We sat center in section 204, row JJ, seats 6-10. There are two screens - left and right. The lighting was a little weird. Very bright at times shining out into the audience. The sound was fine. We parked in the parking garage so it took time to exit. What I noticed was the amount of security. I guess that's a good thing.

Cheap Trick. Zoomed in from our seats in a booth

I recently attended a concert at the Spotlight 29 Casino Showroom. I'd been there before but it was a LOOONG time ago and I didn't remember much about the seating and layout. Finding info about the venue and seating was tricky, so maybe my two cents here can help another with selecting seats! The venue is fairly smallish, I mean not tiny by any means, but a venue where pretty much every seat is going to be pretty good just because it isn't a giant stadium. As I was purchasing tickets as a surprise birthday gift, I wanted front row or something great, but the great seats in the front & center were pretty much all sold out. I did notice from the pictures online that they also seemed to have some booths between the 1st and 2nd and then the 2nd and 3rd sections. I did a bunch of research and spoke to an employee about what those were all about and found that these are "VIP booths". She told me that you can get bottle service there or you can just order what you want to drink. When you purchase a seat there, you have to purchase all six seats. I did end up purchasing six seats, but only four of us attended. I think it was much more comfy for four, but six not giant people would fit fine. I honestly liked the seats just because it was comfortable. We could see the stage great. Music was good. I don't know if the service would be more attentive if you get bottle service, but I felt like there was just one person for all of the booths and so there were waits between being able to order. Also we were only seeing one band, so we weren't there a long time, so not sure if bottle service would be worth it although the prices there are definitely less than at a nightclub, so if you want to do that, could be fun. Hope this helps anyone else trying to understand the seating arrangement. But, call the boxoffice and they can guide you through your questions. The person I spoke to was very helpful. Overall GREAT experience!

I used to love this place but it's gone downhill since they made it 18 and over. All our usual bartenders are gone and the slots are tight! Either way I'll still be back

This was the first time I have been to this casino. It gets its name from the Twenty-nine Palms Band of Mission Indians. Parking was a breeze, several employees with lighted batons were in the parking lot and ramp to the multi-storied lot to guide us. We entered the casino on the second floor and walked along the gaming tables and slot machines to the showroom. There were four lines at the showroom entrance. We had e-tickets to show from our cell phone to the ticket-taker at the door. The aisles and rows were NOT cleared marked, thankfully. there were Ushers to point us to the correct section. Pleaae note, there are multiple bars inside to buy refreshments, the lines were much shorter than the long lines out by the entrance. Overall, I was very pleased with the layout, helpful employees, and cleanliness of the showroom, restaurants, gambling area and the bathrooms were recently remodeled. I will watch their website for another opportunity to return. I encourage you to check it out, and don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!

The music venue. Not a bad seat in the house.

We visited the Spotlight Casino to see a concert. We decided to dine in their brewery before the show. The food was fantastic. It was just basic sort of brewery food. I had a burger and it was a little bit on the dry side. The service was excellent. It was a nice place to hang out before the show. We didn't really see too much of the casino, but we enjoyed the music venue. The bathrooms were clean. We took advantage of the valet parking, which is free. Be sure to leave a tip! Our car came to us quickly after the show, even though there were many people waiting. It was a great experience at the Spotlight casino.

Why would you just fold pieces of ham over inside of a Stromboli instead cubing it, and then send it a cold

The Coachella Valley Invitational Tournament is pre-season soccer for men (MLS) and women (NWSL), played at the Empire Polo Club in February each year. We have visited Palm Desert for many years, and have visited before and after the tournament the past couple years, but have missed attending; thankfully schedules aligned this year. After watching previous games on YouTube, this year we got to be there in person! The tournament's site offers some challenges on finding General Admission tickets; after some time we found that the Los Angeles Galaxy (LAG) were managing the tickets; a quick call with Miguel, who was very helpful, and we soon had our tickets in the app ready to be there for the soccer. Thanks, Miguel!! Parking for soccer was easy to find based on the online map and following the signs. For food, under the semi-permanent tent they have food trucks and an open bar. Here is little shade on the fields; some palm trees in the corners offer a place to cool off; otherwise if the skies are clear, the Palm Desert sun will provide copious doses of Vitamin D to lift your spirits. DJ Alf Alpha provided dance tubes all day and there were various soccer skills for fans to participate in. Even when the weather is not as nice as it was for us, this is still a great facility, with low humidity. Fun fact... the Salton Sea is the second lowest point in the US, after Badwater Basin / Death Valley; if I calculated correctly, the Empire Polo Club elevation is 5-20 feet. Thank you to everyone who makes the Coachella Valley Invitational possible! As Major League Soccer transitions its season to match the rest of the world, and to spread across two years, but no soccer in cold Jan/Fen nor hot July/Aug, we hope you'll continue the tournament as a mid-season break tourney. ----- ----- -----

I want to give a special shout-out to Carlos and the food runner working tonight. He was very friendly and made a point to check on us as he passed by to make sure everything was good. In my opinion, that kind of attentiveness is what separates average service from seasoned food and beverage professionals. I took my guitar to Repair Land after another local musician told me it was the only place in the desert that worked on guitars. I later learned that wasn't true. When I walked into the shop, it appeared more like a personal living space than a professional repair facility. I left my guitar for service and, when I picked it up, I was disappointed to find that very little seemed to have been done. The issues I brought it in for were largely unchanged, and I felt that the quality of the work did not justify the cost or effort. After that experience, I attended the guitar festival on Miles Avenue in Indio and spoke with several musicians and vendors. To my surprise, a number of people I spoke with did not recommend Repair Land and shared their own negative opinions and experiences regarding the business. Because the owner has publicly claimed to work on a very large number of instruments each month, some of us became curious about the level of activity at the shop. A vehicle equipped with a camera was parked on the public street nearby over several days, and based on what was observed during that time, there appeared to be very little customer traffic coming and going. Obviously, everyone can draw their own conclusions, but between my personal experience, the feedback I heard from other musicians at the guitar show, and what I observed afterward, I would not trust this shop with another instrument. I would strongly encourage musicians to explore other repair options in the Coachella Valley before making a decision.
