    Chicken salad sandwich
    Rudrasis C.

An average sandwich place with poor service! Let me clarify. I ordered chicken salad sandwich. The sandwich description on the menu says it comes with almond, carrot (was not there in my sandwich). The server didn't ask me for bread choice or if i want it to be toasted. I chose "the works" as the topping which comes with mustard sauce, again something non-existent. The sandwich tastes nice, I ordered tater tots on the side, which are very crispy. The turkey Caesar salad was ordered by my wife, the potato salad on the side is nice. I like potato salad with little bits of skin in it, looks genuine! Now, when it's time to pay on the screen it shows 36.20, but the server said 37.47! Again bizarre. The difference cant be tax (it's too little to be tax, then what is it?!) Overall some confusion and I leave not just with my belly full but with confusion! Don't like that from a deli. Nothing for me to visit there again, except of course to see if I can get answer to my 1 dollar and 27 cents!

1/2 fancy French special with potato salad

Hubby and I love this place. We always come around 4 and today was nice. It was empty and quiet. The guy that took our order was nice. We decided to split the daily special of fancy French in Dutch crunch roll. It did not disappoint! He even split our plates for us and served them to us. That was a nice touch. We both enjoyed our food and have declared this is our fav sandwich.

I came hear for the Fancy French dip and a bag of salt and vinegar chips. I enjoyed it a lot, the sandwich was full of beef and had onions, mushroom and mozerella the AuJus was more that you need and it came with a serving of salad 'your choice' I selected potato salad that also was good. You can eat in one sitting but I chose to eat only half and was satisfied. Everybody was kind. Yes, I would come back.

Finally was able to try Sprankle's deli and I'm so glad I did. Plenty of parking. Monday - Friday their hours are 10-5. A friend and I arrived at 4 and at 5 they closed but they also didn't rush us out. We were still respectful of their time and left. There are so many items on their menu, it was difficult to decide. I wanted one thing and then saw something else that caught my eye but I'll try it next time. I ordered the Italian Herb Turkey Bacon with potato salad. Let me just say that I inhaled this sandwich. It was perfectly warm, soft, and savory. The herbed bread was delicious and it paired well with the turkey and bacon. The sandwich was stuffed. The bacon was extra crispy which I loved a lot! It was a little messy but I didn't mind. Very flavorful sandwich. The potato salad was ok, not enough potatoes though. Their employees are super nice and patient. I am definitely coming back to try other items. Great sandwich shop!

California turkey sandwich on a french roll

Girl at the counter could use a lesson in customer service. Another associate served our sandwiches to the table, which was nice. Ordered a california turkey sando with a side of bean salad. Not sure how they get away with charging $20 per sandwich. Rent must be expensive. Bean salad tasted straight up like black pepper and was not good. Sandwich was okay but nothing special. Pretty disappointed at this price point. Diner music playing and you can tell the vibe they were going for. Inside could use a good cleaning. Dirty floor, walls, ceiling and bathroom was pretty messy.

    $34.90 for two sandwiches! WTF!!!

So it's been years since gone to Sprankle's, because their prices were going up. Now their prices are just plain ridiculous! Almost 35 bucks for two sandwiches! I mean the sandwiches were good, but not great. My sandwiches from Raley's taste better for a fraction of the price. The quality has really gone down and the prices up! That makes no sense, but I'm not going to ask them to Sprankle me main, Sprankle me main, because it wasn't too legit to eat. I'll pass on coming here again. Sorry but it wasn't worth the price of admission...

First time at this place and first thing I noticed are the ridiculous prices, around $20 per sandwich is way too much as they do taste good but not that good. I have had plenty of different sandwiches through out the years and the sweet spot for a Sprankles sandwich is around $10. The only exception is Katz Delicatessen in NYC because that's the only sandwich that is worth $30. The bread here is about average and the meats/veggies inside are fresh but not seasoned. This place is on the same level as Fire House Subs and Jersey Mikes. I do enjoy the inside environment here as it's clean and has cool pictures. The service is good but not as good as the premium you are paying. Will probably be back on payday when I can afford this again...

I love love love love a deli sandwich!!! It's like my favorite road trip or adventure snack to stop for. My partner and I were headed to the beach for some relaxing in Benicia and discovered this place (on Yelp!) and it turned out to be fantastic. I didn't take pics of the side dishes we ordered like pasta salad, potato salad, etc but the sandwiches.... I even love the selfie I took before diving in! If you're in the area of this local establishment, stop in and grab some yummy lunch!

They have good sandwiches and a really good variety. Their French fries are ext. They make the food quickly and it's reasonably priced.

Just along the main strip of town, this place is busy. We stopped by early morning just a little after they were opened. Even mid week and there was a massive line already forming. They must be good. There's two entrance, first being the main where the front door is. Patio seating available along the sidewalk. And then the back entrance where the majority of the seating is outside. It's like a secret garden with all the trees and plants. Somewhat a treehouse feel as well. They have 2 levels with tables. Beautiful spot sitting there under the tree having a nice cup of joes and a beautiful pastries. Indoor also has some seating along the front and I believe there's a second floor right above the entrance. There's mainly one line for everything. You wait to place your order if you wanted pastries and food. I think you could just order drinks at counter if you're not getting food but don't quote me on that. Everyone was waiting together. Once you reach the top, there's the counter of fresh baked pastries that's made daily. Things do sell out pretty fast. We literally arrived not long after they open and the ham and cheese croissant was already sold out. Besides pastries, there's fresh baked bread. Coffee drinks were pretty good too. After you pick what you want, the cashier is at the end and that's where you pay. There's a counter at the back where drinks are picked up. The whole place has an open kitchen feel where you could actually see all the workers preparing the sweets. In the back kitchen, you could walk by and see the pastries chef preparing and putting together the fresh sweets. It's like you're part of the kitchen. It's a cute place and it does get busy. The locals know about this place so it a hot spot. The holiday makers know which their names is getting out there and making a big splash for them. We've been a few times while in town and each time, alway busy and great. Amazing pastries and good drink. It is on the pricer side but that's pretty much everywhere you go these days.
