I had a little mishap with my friend backing into my car last month and Spray Craft was referred for me by my friend Tom at Preferred Auto. I completely trust Tom so since he highly recommended Spray Craft to do my repairs on my 2015 Camry, I knew I'd be in good hands. I headed over to Spray Craft and was immediately greeted by Paul. I had gotten an estimate at another body shop, but they weren't able to get my car in for a while. Paul looked at the estimate and checked my car's damage and told me I could bring it in within a few days. I dropped my car off and met Jim at Spray Craft. I really liked the fact that this business has been around a long time and it's a family owned business. Jim was great. He even took me to the rental car place instead of having them come pick me up. Having no prior appointment, I went to Spray Craft for a new passenger door handle. I was directed by them to a wreckage yard and got one for $16 (as opposed to $80 new)! Then I returned to Spray Craft and they fixed it in an hour! By the time we were done, it was after closing and everyone had gone home from the office. I called the next day to pay my bill, and the owner told me "no charge"!! Can you believe that? GREAT work and love these guys!!! I'll only go there for my body work!! read more

I've lived in Reno for nearly 40 years and quite familiar with the body shops in town but this morning I decided to get an estimate from someone I hadn't used, Spray Craft. My daughter's car door was caught by the wind bending the hinges and causing the door to rub against the front fender. Paul, one of the 3 brothers that own the business asked if I had a few minutes so that he could take it back in the shop see what he could do. Within 15 minutes he was back, door fixed at a mere cost of a couple of lunches. Totally blew my mind! This type of customer service has long been lost. I was expecting a huge estimate and having to come back days later to have the work done. I hadn't heard anything about Spray Craft until I saw my neighbors restored BMW that they had painted. Got some dings and faded spots on my car repainted. Excellent service! I was going to get a whole paint job and they recommended against it. They also ended up repainting their work before I even picked it up because they didn't like the way it came out the first time. Very impressed by their willingness to do the right thing and ensure the best possible product! Would highly recommend them. LONG TERM REVIEW: I got my bmw a single stage paint job here about 8 months ago. To start off they ran my car into a curb during the painting process destroying my front valence. They repaired it with wood screws and epoxy permanently mounting it crooked. I took it off having to cut into my car and they told me they didn't know what happened. They agreed to fix it and then painted it the WRONG color. It was noticeably darker than the rest of the car. It's now been eight months and I have many large chips on the hood, front fenders, and front spoiler. I understand that all car get chips but one of the chips is close to the size of a dime directly on the hood. Judging from the chips it seems there isn't even a primer layer for each chip is bare metal. It's also peeling slightly on the sunroof. I wasn't expecting great quality but what I got was much worse than my brothers car which was painted at maaco 8 years ago in the same price range. read more
