I love SPREAD!! Cristina Topham is brilliant and her gorgeous Lebanese inspired food is always fresh and DELICIOUS! Her dips are my absolute go-tos! I honestly have never had better Lebna, muhammara or green tahini in my life! Her Za'atar chips and lemony dolmas are the bomb! There isn't an item on her menu, I haven't absolutely loved. I've been ordering Chef Cristina's meal kits since quarantine started and they NEVER disappoint. This time I had the smoked heritage pork pita kit and everything was so delicious. There was so much food, it probably could have fed 6 people instead of the advertised 4. My friend said "it's so obvious that every single component had thought and care put into it". We always order her Toum (garlic dip), Labneh, and extra hummus for the week. Other favorites are the mezze platter, chicken for the pita kits, and chickpea patties. In the past, I used Spread Catering for a very small catered event at my house. Everyone loved the boards, chicken and shrimp kabobs. Fast forward to this past Saturday. We ordered the turmeric chicken vegetable soup and the moussaka. We picked our preorder up at the Napa Farmers market without a hitch. That evening we heated the soup and moussaka up for dinner. All I can say is WOW! The moussaka was so flavorful and clean! I was yelling YUM with every bite. It was was that delicious. The chicken soup held its own as well. I believe I had chicken in every spoonful. I can't wait to see what's on the menu this week. I know one thing, I'll never forget that moussaka. read more

Baba Ganoush (Umm, I detest eggplant and I can't stop eating this stuff) Muhammara (Brought this to a party and people were climbing over themselves to get a scoop of this gift from the Gods.) That said my fatoosh salad augmented w falafel was the best I've ever had. The tahini brownie for dessert was great but once again small and served w no character. Like on a paper plate sort of. OMFG! Spread has the best baba ganoush ever. We have gotten every version of mezze platter they offer and love that we always have leftovers that last a few days. The pita kits are also worth getting. Don't worry about getting too much; most things lasted a couple of days and it's great to have around on the weekends. I have ordered from Spread Kitchen during the stay at home times and everything was always so good, Then Cristina ventured out and started serving her delicious dishes as take out at the Friday Farmers Markets in Sonoma. I finally got a chance to stop by and eat in at the Hwy 12 restaurant location. Absolutely delicious. I had the bowl, which lets you get a bit (large portion) of everything - you pick your protein. We share a commercial kitchen with Spread and Nick and the team are really awesome! They are super talented and clearly put a lot of love and attention in all of their food. My wife and I were fortunate enough to try one of their pita kits with chicken and everything was excellent. I'm sad to say I've never had Cristina's beautiful food, but I have to give her a thousand stars for her professionalism. We had another chef cancel on us last minute for a milestone birthday party with only two days' notice, and I reached out to Spread knowing that it would be a longshot. Sure enough, her team was already booked, but Cristina told me she'd be able to recommend some other chefs. WELL not only did she recommend other chefs, but she personally reached out to them to see who would be available and then looped them in on separate emails with me. I now have three potential leads and maybe this weekend won't be a flop after all. I can't remember the last time I saw someone be so generous with their time when a) they have never met me and b) they don't have any skin in the game. She truly must be a wonderful person, and I can't wait for the next time I need a personal chef--she'll be the first person I reach out to! Hopefully with more advance notice next time :) read more

We love Chef Cristina and the Team at Spread!! I have been ordering the pita kits and platters on and off during the 2020-21 Covid quarantine and I honestly wish I could eat from them 2-3 times a week. I am vegan and there are so many incredible and creative options for my dietary needs. I absolutely love the jackfruit shawarma pita kit the most. The garlic toum spread is the most delicious thing I've ever tasted, and the gluten free pita flatbread is better than any other bread I've tried - gluten free or not. I absolutely love this new restaurant in Sonoma. The flavors and combinations bring a new twist on middle eastern favorites. I love the fact that all of the ingredients are locally sourced and the chef/owner can tell you where every single ingredient came from. Being more on the carnivore side I appreciate all the vegetarian options- this menu is great for clean & healthy eating - but there are some great dishes for meat eaters too! The back patio and garden are beautiful and shady - great place to linger and relax while enjoying an outstanding meal. Personally I love the back patio and would rather eat there than takeout. Spread Kitchen is one of the very few places in Sonoma where you have wonderful, fun and delicious food at very reasonable prices in a very pleasant environment paired with really good and a very affordable interesting wine list. Most bottles are around $30 or less and are sourced from such interesting wine producers in places like South Africa and Lebanon. The owner/chef, Christina is a most welcoming hostess. I had the Chicken Shawarma wrap and my wife had the Chicken Shawarma salad. Both were the bomb. We had a bottle of Rose' from Lebanon that was a great pairing with the food. We started with the hummus plate with pita and pickled veges. They do outstanding pickled veges and they show up in almost everything. The hummus was rustic and good, but next time we are going to get the Dirty Fries. We saw other tables devouring them and they looked so good. Everyone leaves with a big smile on their face and usually with enough leftovers for lunch the next day as the portions are huge. Go and you will have a wonderful time. read more

We love Cristina and her team - we've hired them for several occasions and every time they go above and beyond in how they delight us. For a milestone birthday for my dad, the best gift I could give was time - he got to have time with his kids and grandkids while a delicious meal was prepared for us. It was stupendous! And no request is too big or too small. Her incredible staff made sure the glassware (which was ours) was all polished and elegant, gave seating advice, and staggered all the amazing bites and tastes perfectly. We hired Cristina for a birthday diner (6 people) and had a wonderful experience. Cristina was on time and very personable. I didn't arrange the diner, but my husband who coordinated everything with her said it a very easy to plan with her (she was very flexible and made several changes). We enjoyed 3 different appetizers, all different and very unique. Followed by a three course diner (halibut cooked to perfection). I really appreciated that the food not only tasted delicious with a subtle use of spices but was quite light. We will work again with Cristina for sure! I have been using Cristina (now Spread Catering) for about a year now. Cristina has done events ranging from smaller, more intimate dinners to large scale parties. That being said, she has an excellent sense of exactly what type of fare is appropriate for a wide variety of situations. Cristina also has also made it incredibly easy to host large scale events. She was quick to hone in on our needs and now something that was daunting is pretty effortless. As a result we entertain much more often. Her staff is always on point, the food is always beautifully presented and delicious. She focuses on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, something that is very important to us. One thing that Cristina absolutely nails is wine paring. I actually have given her full control over choosing wine for everything she does for us- guests have repeatedly been impressed with the selection and made sure to let us know. We have had her pick up several cases of a few select wines for our cellar. Clearly she has an excellent palate and I would encourage anyone to have her choose the wine, you will not be disappointed. I will most certainly be using Spread Catering again in the very near future. Cristina has been a breath of fresh air to work with and I am always looking forward to what she will create next. Some my all time favorites are her lamb and fig tagine, harissa rubbed halibut with preserved lemon and her port poached pears. Everything is so bright, so clean- so good! read more

Cristina is an AMAZING chef! Everything she makes is so delicious and beautifully plated. Plus, she is a true professional who is calm under pressure and makes any party unique and special. Some of my favorite dishes she has made are Lebanese: homemade Zaatar bread, meatballs, Foul Mudammas--I never knew Lebanese food could be so flavorful and exquisite! But she is also really great at desserts (she once made me a chocolate caramel tart that was TO DIE for), gorgeous salads (watermelon, mint, feta with sunflower greens, pistachios), and pretty much everything else. We visit the area for a girls weekend every other year and always find a special restaurant for dinner one of our nights in town. There are 11 of us in the group, so it can be a challenge to find something that works for everyone. This summer our 'restaurant committee' found Spread Catering and we don't think we ever need to do a dinner out again. We had spread catering cook for a private birthday dinner for four couples at our rental house while on vacation in Healdsburg, CA. We highly recommend their services! Cristina prepared a thoughtful, unique menu for us and she was excellent about working around food allergies in the group, and other restrictions. The meal was a Lebanese BBQ. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was fantastic. Her deviled eggs with caviar were incredible, the grilled meats were amazing, and there was an awesome chopped salad that everyone loved. You could tell that she put so much thought and effort into the whole experience. She even had custom menu cards printed for us, and decorated them with fresh lavender sprigs, so the table looked beautiful too!
