Very warm welcome from the moment we arrived, and our waitress was extremely professional throughout the entire experience. The Mediterranean salad is highly recommended, as well as the Moroccan Lamb Shank, which was absolutely exquisite, and the short ribs were also excellent. We ordered four different desserts, and every single one was delicious. We would definitely come back.

I still love this place but sadly I feel the octopus gets smaller every time. Also, this time it was slightly over cooked.

Granted I came here in a Monday and everything was good, but not great. Service was kind and prompt but both my friend who orders the eggplant and myself the lamb kebobs both felt something was missing from our dishes. Maybe because we came here in a Monday?!?!

I was at Tarla for a Valentine's Day dinner with my husband and it was packed! We made a reservation a week or so prior so getting our table was pretty easy when we got to the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and nice, checking in on us throughout the meal and refilling our waters. We ordered a baba ghanoush dip to share, I ordered the grilled octopus salad, and my hubs got the pomegranate short ribs with the mushroom truffle risotto. SO YUMMY!!! I loved the actual mushrooms in the risotto and the subtle truffle taste. The executive chef even came around giving roses to all the ladies in the restaurant, which was a very sweet and elegant touch. The vibe was very relaxed, even with a lot of couples around.

Their flaming cheese is amazing and tasty! We also had their feta Greek fries. Such a pretty place and love their chandeliers. Service is helpful too.

Stepping into this charming Mediterranean restaurant, we were immediately greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The striking decor--with turquoise lamps suspended from the ceiling and rustic wooden window panels--truly transported us to the sun-drenched regions of Turkey. The service was extraordinary, deserving a 10/5 rating. Our waitress, Delilah, and the manager, John, were exceptionally accommodating throughout the evening. To top off the celebration, they graciously offered the birthday guest complimentary desserts. We were highly pleased with the overall dining experience, with the food being quite good and several dishes earning top marks: Grilled Octopus Salad: 5/5 Whole Branzino Fish: 5/5 Desserts: 5/5 Shrimp Carbonara Pasta: 4/5 Calamari Fritto Misto: 3/5 Meat Cut of the Day: 3/5 Service: 10/5

I love the decor of this place! Feels like you are in Santorini! Love the lamps and chandeliers. The place seemed short staffed - one or maybe 2 servers for the whole restaurant- I felt bad for them. The food we ordered was very good - we had the shakshuka and octopus salad. We asked for a spicy sauce and they got at the end of our meal. I would love to come back to try more dishes.

We've always seen this restaurant as we're driving into downtown Napa and finally got around to trying it last night for date night. There are 2 seating areas-- 1 side (where we sat) is full of cool tones, super cute and eclectic lamps and is very lively! The other side is warm, welcoming and cozy and the noise level seems to be a little lower. Both are great. We were greeted by our server who was very friendly and attentive. We asked for some recommendations and landed on the Greek Dip Trio and the Calamari Fritto Misto to start. I ordered the Whole Branzino and my husband got the Beef Gyro Wrap. All of the dips were so delicious and the pita was so soft. My favorite was the baba ghanoush. The calamari was good, but could have been less oily. And it was slightly overcooked, but we still enjoyed it. My branzino was perfect. It was tender, flakey and moist. The skin was cooked perfectly and was nice and crispy. The bed of cous cous and Brussels sprouts paired so nicely with the fish. My husband enjoyed his wrap very much. And it was pretty big! We finished with some coffee and the flourless chocolate cake. So decadent, but not too sweet and not too rich where you can't finish it. The manager said hello and our server did a great job making sure we were having a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Tarla is a local business with exceptional food and we are locals who enjoy returning to enjoy it. They are consistantly good. Their ingredients are fresh and we are always happy with the service and food. Street parking is easy to find and downtown also has parking garages available. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing with seating available inside or outside. This time was just as rewarding. My friend and I wanted a snack during off hours after a day at the museums. Even though we were only having a couple of appetizers and some teas, service was friendly and efficient. My friend and I shared the Greek Dip Trio & the Calamari Fritto Misto. The pita bread was soft, fluffy and fresh and the dips were delicious. Calamari's batter was light. The sauce danced beautifully with the calamari. You cannot go wrong with anything you order at Tarla's. We have had the Lamb Burger, Lunch Beef Gyro Wraps & the Chicken Kebab Lavash Wrap, the stuffed eggplant, lamb shank and more. Everything was fresh and tasted as if someone's grandma from Turkey was tucked back in the kitchen making her ancient family dishes. If this is true, please don't let her escape and return back to the Mediterranean.

I do know where to start. The food was great, the service was great, the vibes in the restaurant were great. Everything about this place was great. I was kind of hesitant at first because it's very far from where I live but im glad my friends and I went here. They had this delicious honey cheese and toast that they set on fire and served to us. Just amazing. I'm gutted because of how far this place is from me.

Made a reservation at Tarla and enjoyed it overall. All of the food is made in house which is really impressive! All in all, I thought the flavors were punchy and everything was good, but there were just a few pockets that could have been improved. We started with the trio which featured hummus, babaganoush and tatziki. The accompanying pita was pillowy soft and I liked the whole olives too. The meatballs came next. Good flavor, but just a tad dry in my opinion. The relish on the bottom though made of potatoes, kale, and mushrooms was a star! Next was the saganaki. There was a bit of a snafu with lighting it up and idk if it was embarrassing for the waiter but he just put it on the table despite not flambee'ing it at all so some bites were just soaked with brandy and it was a little rough. The potential was certainly there though! For mains, we shared the French toast, octopus salad and the short rib hash. I personally liked the French toast best. It features bread from my Napa favorite, Model Bakery and featured a really nice mix of fruity and nutty elements. The salad was a little overdressed and the portion of octopus was honestly small for the price paid despite being prepared very well. Lastly the hash was chopped a bit finer than we all expected. The flavor was good, but it was a little hard to scoop up and eat. All in all, I would definitely return to Tarla.

Went here for restaurant week and had a great experience. Really appreciated the excellent service and general ambiance. The food was tasty and thoughtfully prepared. Would go here again.

9/14/24 Zach and I decided to try out Tarla for lunch. I made a reservation for 12pm on opentable and requested an outdoor table since we were coming with Coco. We couldn't find parking right by the restaurant, so we got a spot at a nearby park and walked 10 minutes. When we got there, it wasn't busy so we got our pick of which outdoor table to sit at. Our waitress Kim was so friendly and delightful. After we were seated she brought out menus and a water bowl for Coco. Here's what we got: - hummus plate (free when you check in on the yelp app) - lamb burger (his) - short rib hash (mine) The hummus came out first. It tasted so fresh and was really good. Kim also hooked us up with more pita bread and veggies since they give you s lot of hummus. We only waited 10 minutes before the entrees came out. Everything smelled delicious! The beef in the short rib hash was very tender. The potatoes were mostly soft, but had a very slight crunch to it. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The lamb burger was very juicy and fragrant. Zach said it was probably one of the best lamb burgers he has had. During our meal, the executive chef came out to greet us which was very cool. Everything about Tarla is great: the food, service and the overall restaurant is very clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend you to come to Tarla if you want 5 star service and a 5 star meal.

Seems to be quite the local favorite and a good amount of parking nearby. Generally very positive thoughts on the food quality, though much less on the spicy heat and more on the veggies in the platters. Pita and platters have the same fresh veggies and composition with hot sauce and ranch. Not quite heavily spiced as other meditteranean spots but very tasty. On the plus, their pita is very fresh and remarkably chewy. Greek fries were fantastic, just enough feta cheese with drizzle of olive oil and touch of salt on top of super crispy fries. Aromatic and crispy without being too greasy. Fried goodies are top notch, falafel was tasty and moist on the interior, chicken schnitzel had solid batter to it.

It's also a nice way to experience a Michelin one-star restaurant without committing to a full dinner. The biggest highlight here is really the view. If possible, try to reserve a seat on the outdoor terrace. From there you get a direct panoramic view over Napa Valley. On a nice day, sitting outside with the sun, vineyards, and rolling hills in front of you feels incredibly relaxing. Even just slowly enjoying lunch while looking out over the valley already makes the experience worthwhile. As for the food, it's very much in line with what you'd expect from a Michelin one-star restaurant. The presentation is elegant and the flavors are refined. It's not heavy or overly bold; instead, the dishes focus more on balance and highlighting the quality of the ingredients. Nothing felt overly flashy, but the execution across the board was very solid and well thought out. The lunch prix fixe is especially worth considering. Compared to dinner, the price is much more reasonable while still giving you a good sense of the restaurant's cooking style and overall quality. If you're already planning a trip to Napa Valley, stopping here for lunch can make the whole outing feel a bit more special. Service was also excellent--professional but not overly formal. The pacing of the meal felt comfortable, never rushed but also not slow. Overall, this place is really about the combination of food and scenery. The dishes alone might not be the most mind-blowing in Napa, but when you add the terrace view overlooking the valley, the whole experience becomes memorable. If you want a relaxed way to try a Michelin one-star restaurant without the full dinner price tag, lunch here is a great option.

From valet parking to tea and latte towards the end of the meal, this experience was one of a kind! This place had all the charm of a beautiful restaurant nestled in a beautiful place in Europe. Napa's beauty shines through when it pours and the restaurant at Auberge du Soleil just adds more charm to it's beauty. I could not get enough of their bloody mary and kept it coming. Please note that only one drink is included in the brunch so anything extra or off the brunch menu would be changeable. Aurko opted for their grapefruit mimosa and loved it too! The housemade pastries, artisinal bread and muffins were included in the sunday brunch and on the house. We definitely asked them to fill up the basket the second time as the lemon curd and blueberry muffins were out of this world! To begin with, we both opted for the oysters. 6 oysters per person served with ginger mignonette- the perfect starter. We love fresh oysters and they were perfect. We also asked for an ala carte menu to order some more items and ordered 6 more oysters for the table. We also ordered some fried crispy calamari. It was plentiful and delicious. Very light batter and exceptional flavor! For the mains, my husband opted for the seared yellowfin tuna and I chose the sonoma chicken. Our entrees were amazing! The sides were delicious! We both chose housemade malekula island vanuatu chocolate creameux and it was FANTASTIC! The passionfruit puree and the muscovado ice cream brought all the flavors together in a medley of sweet symphony in my mouth! We both ordered tea and latte (not included in the brunch) and they were both delicious. Aurko ordered the barley tea and my latte was just perfect! My goodness this was a BEAUTIFUL experience! We had asked for a window seat but we were seated by the fireplace and it was just amazing! The view was better from sitting a little back. Front row seat and you first look at the spots on the glass and then the view tbh. This was an experience I would go for again. We were treated with love and kindness and we were given exceptionally good service. The head server was John or Jake. I'm sorry I don't remember his name but he was very very sweet. He's the one who first greeted the guests on every table and gave them menus. He was knowledgeable and amazing! I cannot wait to come back with my love and enjoy beautiful Napa from the eyes of the restaurant at Auberge du Soleil
