Their protein options are for a variety of taste buds: falafel, chicken shawarma, lamb/beef kofta, and jackfruit shawarma. Lamb and Chicken have been my favorite. However, I've been told that the jackfruit protein is delicious - will have to try next time. I recommend their orange blossom lemonade, made in house and so refreshing. Phenomenal food and service! It was a beautiful day in February so we decided to sit outside in the patio. There is limited seating indoors but plenty of room outside. There are picnic tables to accommodate groups. I really liked the metal artwork (that's for sale) displayed all around. My partner and I ordered the combo dip with beef and lamb kofta. I included all pricing with the photos I posted. I recommend adding a meat to the combo so you can essentially make your own wrap/pita taco. The combo dip comes with hummus, Muhammara, and baba ganoush. It's a very colorful plate with pita and veggies. The dirty fries seasoning was nothing I've had before on fries- zaatar, a Lebanese oregano blend. Had it with chicken shawarma and it was like a Mediterranean carne asada fries. Loved it! Lastly, wines are reasonably priced here and intentionally picked to go well with your meal. We enjoyed the assyrtiko that Carrie recommended. She was a wonderful host! We also had the chance to meet the owner, Cristina, and had a lovely conversation with her about where she sources her ingredients. The private patio was adorned with white lights and local art, and the food was DELISH! This is a perfect spot for vegetarian/ gluten sensitive dining. I want to start off my saying it's been a hot minute since I've truly viewed a restaurants menu and have been so undecided on what to get because EVERYTHING sounded soo good! I found this place thanks to Yelp after browsing restaurants around Sonoma to hit after some wine tasting. It was a warm day so everything sounded refreshing and light! When we arrived on a Sunday, we were able to find a parking spot in their designated spots right off to the side of the building. Walking in we were instantly greeted and told to grab some menus and take a seat anywhere. We went off to their little back patio to take our pick. It's nicely shaded by the trees and has plenty of spots to chose from out there with sun or no sun. They also display cute local rustic art all along the perimeter. Our waitress came out to take our drink order, we started off with a couple waters, cider from a can and a beer on tap. After studying the menu and finally forcing us to pick only a few things (really, everything sounded so good!) we settled for the dirty fries, small order of the lavash wrap, and the three dip plate with beiruti Hummas, baba ganoush, and the whipped feta and beet. Didn't take long for all of our food to come out. First off the presentation was just cute, cute dish ware, the food was just colorful and appetizing. We started off with the fries, already blown away! Fried to the perfect crisp, but also the tahini yogurt sauce, pickled onions, za'atar, it all blended soo well together. Can't say I've had dirty fries like it and I was already obsessed. Next we tried some dips. I'm normally against beets, never liked them, but their whipped feta and beet dip had to be my favorite out of the bunch! Cheesy, sweet, yet little hint of earthy, so delightful. Can't forget the stunning vibrant pink color! The Hummas and baba ganoush also shined. Lastly we finish off with our wrap, and yet again, hats off to the wonderful kitchen crew! The small portion was the perfect size for us to share on top of everything else. We had added falafel as our protein and added the Hummas and hot sauce to 'make it local'. It was packed with flavor and hit just right for us. In the end, the atmosphere is super chill and cute, service was good, but the food was everything we wanted and even more AND all for a great price! Falafels with Green Tahini Sauce (5/5) - the perfect crunch on the outside and moist on the inside, it doesn't get better than this. We love Mediterranean food and after I visited ex-pat friends living in Dubai in 2022, my bar is set pretty high. I was skeptical once we saw the restaurant and lack of parking on the side of the street but I relied heavily on Yelp reviews so we gave it a try. We had arrived right after they had opened. The inside was cold. We picked a table and the waiter took our order which was a choice of 3 dips (hummus, baba ganoush, and a yogurt with beets and feta). We also ordered crispy Brussels sprouts, falafels and fried cauliflower (zahrah) with tahini dip and the daily soup which was a lentil. Our favorites were the fried cauliflower and baba ganoush. I love a Smokey baba ganoush. The falafels were hot but a little too dry for my liking. The Brussel sprouts were good but too salty. The soup was pretty thin and lacked flavor. Overall though, this place is solid and if you are looking for decent Mediterranean food, I would recommend this place. We didn't try any of the shawarmas but if I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely go back and try it! read more

What a spread! We were so happy to have discovered this awesome Lebanese spot in Sonoma after a music festival we attended last month. My husband and I were so hungry post-festival, and the food so good that I forgot to take pictures of it! That rarely happens, I mean Yelpers know you gotta snap a pic or 2..or 10! ;) We ordered ahead through the website (very convenient!) and loved how simple it was to build an excellent meal. For a main dish you choose between 4 options: the Bowl, Wrap, Fall Pita Salad, or Dirty Fries. We went for the Bowl, which comes with spiced brown rice & lentils, hummus, quinoa tabouleh, plus your choice of protein (we chose Falafel), sauce, and pita bread. We also ordered an extra side of quinoa tabouleh, brown rice, and 4 extra falafel à la carte. It was the perfect amount of food for us, and everything was so flavorful and delicious! Though we did take out, the restaurant itself was very clean and inviting when we dropped in to pick up our order. Staff were friendly and greeted us. We only wish we lived closer to Sonoma so we could eat here more often, but at least we have a new Sonoma fave! We truly appreciate that there are fantastic vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options here as well! Cristina Topham, the owner and chef, has such a colorful and fascinating story as well. Really innovative Mediterranean place in Sonoma, off the main square. Finding it was a bit tough since it's located off a busy thoroughfare with little to no street parking. Had to circle the block a few times and stumbled on a small municipal lot a few blocks down. Don't let that deter you-it's worth the extra drive around the block. The food here was very fresh and flavorful. I got the fall salad with falafel-lots of sliced apples, pomegranate seeds, pita chips, grapes and a delightful yogurt dressing. Perfect balance of savory and sweet, all in one bowl. It was pricey (nearly $20 for a salad) but what isn't these days? They feature rice bowls, salads and wraps with your choice of proteins, as well as hummus and other dips, which I'd love to come back and try. Great addition to the Sonoma dining scene. read more

Very pleasant lunch. We ate indoors, in the restaurant's small seating area near the front door (there is a patio). A party of three, we shared the following: "three dips," loaded fries, and a side order of falafel. The dips were delicious, and served with a pile of pita bread, and just a few veggies (I wished for more veggies, so the dish would be less bread-centric, perhaps that could be an option on the menu). The fries were great, served hot and the herbed toppings salty and flavorful. I really wanted to like this spot! I was driving through Sonoma and do frequently for work, a Greek snack sounded good and I hadn't noticed this place until I found it on Yelp. I am a huge fan of tapas, charcuterie, veggie trays, etc. I got the dip trio and ordered extra veggie and extra pita with the hummus, yogurt and feta dips. Treated myself to a piece of baklava as well! My total was just over $32. When I got home, it didn't look like I had received extra veggies or extra pita compared to the other photos posted of the dip platter... was obviously bummed as this was going to be my dinner and I paid like $8 additionally for it. It's been a while since the last time I wrote a review in my mind while I was eating at a restaurant. It's always thrilling to me to sit and consider the way that I would describe my experience while I'm having it, rather than in retrospect write my thoughts as I remembered them. Thankfully, while here, I had such a wonderful experience that this review basically wrote itself. The restaurant that used to occupy this spot was not bad, but honestly the increase in flavor, selection, quality, basically everything was shockingly and delightfully a win. Hubby found this restaurant for an early dinner during a weekday while we were out in Sonoma city and I had not heard of this new Lebanese spot, so I was really excited to give it a try. We looked over the menu and chatted shortly with Christina who was warm, friendly, and multitasking behind the counter. Hubby ordered the Dirty Fries ($9) with Kofta ($5) and I ordered the Pita Sandwich ($16) with Falafel ($5). We both ordered a soda, a passionfruit ginger ale for me ($3.50) and a root beer for him ($3.50), and I ordered a hummus plate ($10) for us to snack on while we were waiting. The only real downside to our experience here was that the menu was a little confusing. First you pick your protein, then you pick your style, and then you add anything extra or a la carte to that. The pita wrap says that it includes choice of protein for $16 but I was charged an additional $5 for the falafel instead of meat... since I'm a vegetarian? I'm not really sure what happened there but whatever it was, it was still worth it. The hummus plate arrived first, and it was brightly colored and full of wonderful promise. The hummus itself was smooth and flavorful and the pita was very nice, but the real star of this dish were the pickles! It was clear that they took a lot of care and love in pickling their vegetables which were already really fresh and it was nice to taste that all of their pickles had slightly different flavors. It was apparent that they didn't just throw everything into the same pickling liquid and that they were perfectly paired with the other flavors of their individual dish. For our entrees, Hubby's dirty fries arrived first and they were absolutely gorgeous. The contrast between the bright pink pickled onions and the green leaves of mint were just delightful. I felt like since we eat with our eyes first, it was really a feast of lovely colors and shapes as well as smells. Sure enough the actual flavors themselves and textures of the dish were top notch. My falafel wrap was really delicious and packed with great flavors as well, but I also added the whipped garlic dip and their house-made hot sauce to just take it over the edge. My dish was big enough for me to take the other half home and eat it for lunch the next day. Win! Overall, honestly, this was a really delightful food adventure that we were not adequately prepared for. I know there are a lot of good restaurants in Sonoma, but Spread Kitchen really is above and beyond what I'm used to in this area. I felt like the prices were reasonable for the overall quality and harmony of flavors and textures. The thing that sticks out to me the most about this experience was the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail of their spices and the nuances with the pickles and the herbs. I can't wait to come back here, and I highly recommend this restaurant. Worth making your way out to this area just to eat here, in my opinion! read more

To drink, I ordered the lemonade of the day which was the orange blossom lemonade; it was a yummy floral lemonade. I took a hummus to go & I only regret not taking their house made pita chips home with me too. Prices are very reasonable & portions are large. There is a lot of indoor & patio seating. I just picked up a late lunch to go of beet and kale salad. The kale was farm fresh and the beets cooked soft but not too soft with shreds of pickled onion and watermelon radish with blood oranges. The dressing was divine. Each ingredient super fresh. I also got the babaganoush plate which was amazing. Best babaganoush I have had since eating in the Middle East. Their pickled veggies are top notch as is their yummy smokey harissa. I had fresh pita as well what looked like homemade crispy brown pita chips. All soooo good! The food was over the top delicious! Highly recommend between my group we tried almost everything. Melon feta salad, turmeric chicken wrap and grain bowel, lamb grain bowl and the 5 dips! So so good. Service was a little slow and unfortunately we came on a hot day and there is almost no indoor seating. Cute ambiance but a plastic chair on a hot day was not a good combo with shorts. She had the Lavash with Falafel with hummus and hot sauce. We wish we would have asked for more hot sauce on the side. We also enjoyed the Brussel sprouts with tahini sauce. I really liked the Lavash with beef shawarma and the kofta ala carte. The dishes were really tasty. We are outside in the patio and it's decorated with art pieces that were also for sale by a local artist. Being amongst nature there were a few flies as if we were having a picnic.
