    $23.99 charge

    today in shop i found a very cute healthy pilea plant. went to pay for him and bennett valley garden employee proceeds to tell the $7.99 price tag on the pot is incorrect (even tho all indoor plants this size are priced equally) he finishes to tell me it's $23.99?!!!! i get it, it's a popular little house plant which at one time was hard to find but isn't any longer. trader joe's, friedman's, lowe's and home depot all carry them regularly now! i'm not a miser when it comes to plants, and i paid the hefty spiked price, but cmon?! way to taken advantage of your customers? it was embarrassing and he should have just charged me it's sticker price without saying anything but instead made a big deal about how the little plants is 3X the sticker price. super disappointing + poor customer care in my mind. please see two pics below

    Neon Pathos ($9) and watermelon pep ($4)

    This nursery has had a face lift, it's now Sprig Bennett Valley Gardens and it's even better! Stopped by one late afternoon and cruised the outside but was distracted by the green house attached to the gift shop. I walked inside and through a sliding glass door I walked into what I can only describe as my own personal balmy heaven. Every indoor plant a plant mom can dream of! Sprig has the best indoor plant section in Sonoma County, hands down and trust me I have done the legwork! The green house is warm and humid so the plants are all full and thriving. They had lots of pathos, beautiful arrowhead vines (green AND pink ones!), tons of calatheas, robust ferns, monsteras and cacti (I could go on but you get it). I could have spent hours in there taking in every single plant but with the pandemic it's best to get in and out, save the gawking for another day. I settled on a watermelon peppermoni and a neon pathos. Very reasonably priced for 2"-6" plants. Obviously the big guys are more expensive and worth it, I like to get my plants as babies so we grow together but great options for those looking to fill space with mature plants. The gift shop is a whole other adventure in itself! Beautiful hanging pots, cute gifts galore (t shirts, jewelry, puzzles, coffee mugs, Knick knacks). Again I had to basically be dragged out of there. Staff are friendly and helpful but not in a way that is bothersome. I felt no pressure and free to cruise around knowing if I needed aid it was there. Can't wait to return for my spring garden needs and yes just a few more houseplants ;

    I'm grateful for the amazing selection of plants at this nursery and even more so for the helpful and passionate staff! I try to come here every chance I can get!

    Some sqaush additions for the garden.

    I go here here for most all of my horticulture needs. Have gotten plants from other "chain stores" when I first started to landscape my new home and have noticed a deference. After a few years of landscaping, I've really seen & appreciated the quality of plants at Bennett Valley Gardens. Purchased verbena from both Home Depot and BVG and you can tell the caliber & condition between the two flowers after time. My verbenas from Bennett Valley Gardens are stronger, larger and have 3x more flowers than the others bought the same day from Home Depot, planted in the same ground. It's never hard to get solid planting advice here. I get welcomed as soon as I step into the yard. For a beginner like myself this really makes all the difference in the world. Maybe saving some dollars buying from the other guy, but some of the plants end up dying, even with careful attention. Don't fall for quality over quantity when it comes to your yard! Really recommend trying this place the next time you're in a planting mood.

    This used to be a great spot but the new place is less of a garden center than a place to buy gifts and potted plants. Call it garden-lite.

    They sell over priced plants that are infested with fungus gnats. So if you're into that kinda thing, Bennett Valley Gardens is for you!

    Moon Valley Nursery and designer, Ashley Eddy made this project feel like much more than…read morelandscaping. It was a beautiful mission with a vision. We are creating a landscape for a senior community, where thriving trees, fruit trees, flowers, birds, hummingbirds, and butterflies can nourish the heart and create opportunities for residents to step outside, linger, notice the seasons, and connect with one another. Ashley Eddy understood that mission immediately. She didn't simply help me choose trees--she visualized what we were trying to create. Touring the vast nursery with Ashley in our little open-air "botanical safari vehicle" was like having a landscape designer, master horticulturalist, botanist, and wonderfully charming docent all in one. She could look at a tree and help me imagine not just where it would go, but what it might contribute to the life of the community. Ashley guided me through climate, foliage, placement, fruiting trees, seasonal interest, and varieties that would attract birds and butterflies. Her knowledge was extraordinary, but equally important was her ability to listen. She understood that our goal wasn't simply beautiful grounds--it was beauty with purpose. The entire Moon Valley team carried that same spirit, from our adventure through acres of plants and trees, to conducting business in the office, to delivery. Everything was done with knowledge, warmth, humor, and genuine joy in bringing living things to their new home. Someday a resident may pick a piece of fruit, watch a hummingbird visit a blossom, sit beneath one of these trees with a neighbor, or simply say, "Look how much that tree has grown." That is what we were really planting. Thank you, Ashley and Moon Valley Nursery, for understanding that from the very beginning.

    The installation was challenged by roots from previous trees. The team (Raul, Cody, Gustavo and…read moreElias ) did backbreaking digging which I really appreciate. The crew was also very respectful of this old property and polite. Thanks for these beautiful trees, they will be loved.
