As a Philadelphia Eagles fan, I was nervous to wear my Eagles hat into a Texas restaurant. However, was I ever glad I did. We had the chance the meet the owner and he is truly one of the nicest humans you will ever meet. He greeted us, talked to us the whole time we were there, and looked after our table. He and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly to everyone in the restaurant. As an outsider, the BBQ was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the combination platter and get the white meat! This is cafe style BBQ where you order your meat and fill your plate with sides, take it to the cashier and pay. Then while seated you're continuously brought hot rolls. The food is alright, the meal is inexpensive but this isn't real Texas BBQ. Doesn't have that amazing TX BBQ flavor at all. The rolls are good though! read more

I was in town visiting a friend and wanted to try the famous Texas bbq I've always heard about. She recommended Spring Creek and said this was the spot everyone she knows recommends. It was AMAZING!!! Everything we ate was delicious...the brisket, chicken, loaded baked potatoes, bbq sauce, and then the fresh cobbler for dessert, all amazing and we can't wait to dine there again. You can really taste the quality and how everything is made from scratch. On top of the great food, the service was top of the line. This is what customer service is all about, and we won't go anywhere else for bbq. Casey is the manager and took time to explain things to us (it was our first time there) and checked on us to make sure we were happy with our meals. A great place to experience Texas BBQ without going to the fake eateries of TX Roadhouse or Logans. When you walk in you order your meat then proceed down the line where it's weighed. I've been to this location twice recently. Both times, the employees on the line are not welcoming or nice. They actually make you feel like your inconveniencing them. This last time they appeared to making to go orders for an event. My father and I stood at the meat counter for multiple minutes waiting without being helped. Eventually, a kid came over and started slicing meat and still continued to ignore us. The kid finally asked what we wanted. We moved down the line to the potatoes and waited a couple more minutes for someone to help us. Nothing. There was a guy packing meat into the to-go containers but simply could not take the time to help the customers right in front of them. After waiting a couple of minutes I yelled out that I needed a potato. He got me one and then walked off without asking my father if he wanted one too. Sure enough, my father did want one and had to yell for him to come make him one. Got to the end of the line and continued to wait. There were no drink cups, waited an additional couple of minutes to get cups and checked out. The only person that was even somewhat welcoming was the girl that brought around the fresh rolls. As far as I'm concerned, there are plenty of places to get BBQ in the area, if this location doesn't get more welcoming I'll move on. To the owner of this location, become more welcoming or people will stop coming. read more

This location has a bunch of very sweet high school kids working there. Unfortunately, the food was dried out and gross. My ribs tasted like they had been re-heated (or left under a lamp) all day--kind of stale and far too dry. We also ordered fried okra and a sliced brisket sandwich. We have been customers of Spring Creek BBQ for years. We used to live in the mid-cities so we always went to the restaurants either in Bedford or Grapevine. Always excellent food and service! We moved out to Springtown and the closest is the Lake Worth location. We've tried it a few times, not impressed but nothing really to complain about. My husband stopped to pick up an order on 1/11/22 of full pounds of Chop Beef, Sliced Beef and Sausage. He also bought baked potatoes. When he got the order home, the chopped beef was greasy and fatty and the sliced beef(even though we asked for lean), was fatty. I called and spoke to the manager, I didn't write down his name, and I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food we'd been given. He apologized and said that he would send us gift cards. Well, here it is six weeks later and no gift cards! I think it's pretty bad when a MANAGER won't even keep his word. I will NOT be going back and will definitely not recommend it to ANYONE! read more

I ordered a BBQ sandwich and I asked for lettuce or tomatoes and they said they couldn't give me any. Very unprofessional and bad service ! Not the best BBQ but if you have the buy one get one free coupon it's worth the visit. The BBQ is very average with a fancy sweet sauce to hide it. Sometimes the ribs are cold unless you get lucky your served fresh cut ribs not rack sitting for a bit between customers. The all you can eat vegetables is great and probably the high point. Though buffet is not setup like its friendly toward get ting seconds. The rolls person can get a little annoying after second or third visit to your table. The deserts are not worth the price and not fresh or warm tasting. With a coupon I visit again otherwise give me roadside BBQ. read more

I love this place! The food is great and the service is awesome! The rolls are the best of any place! The turkey is my all time favorite! I don't care too much for their bbq sauce but that is because I am partial to my own but I love the rest of the things they serve. Never had a bad experience at a Spring Creek until today. Sunday afternoon, 5 pm. My husbands potato and my baked potato with chopped beef were luke warm at best. When the young lady was putting it together, her comments were "these suck" because she thought it was difficult to get all of the things into the potato. This was said right in front of me as if I wasn't there or didn't matter. Throughout our time there, not once did anyone bring us a fresh roll. Worst restaurant in the Lake Worth area. I experienced terrible management and poor service on numerous visits to this particular location. I have noticed the managers talk down to young high school aged employees and display poor work ethic on several separate occasions. The food tends to be a bit overpriced for such poor service as the employees look very unhappy to be at work. On occasion, the restaurant was noticeably not run well with quite a few dirty tables left for at least 20 minutes.
