The person who did my dip manicure did not how to do dip at all. It was a waste of my money and time. It took her almost 2 hours and it was exhausting. Came here for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Service was great from the beginning since we were able to get seen within a good amount of time after walking in without an appointment. My fiancé got an amazing pedicure and manicure (just a usual clean up since it was needed for him). I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I felt like my manicure was rushed and found it strange that the lady doing my nails did not ask me what shape I wanted for my nails. My nails were already short so I assumed that's why. Nonetheless, she did a great job even if it was rushed. As for my pedicure, it was nice chatting with the lady but she did nip me in my nail beds / toes a bit when removing my previous gel pedicure and when cleaning my cuticles. It hurt pretty badly. It also took awhile for my pedicure to dry which I'm not use to, since I usually get a gel pedi. She still did a good job but I may need to just keep an eye on how hard these ladies are cleaning my cuticles. Shop was clean and pretty busy while we were there. I definitely found my new spot! I moved to Folsom back in August 2020, and it took me a couple nails salons to finally find Spring Nail Spa. The place is very open and well maintained which is a plus for me. They have shit ton of color choices, but was pretty bummed that they didn't have solid gold. Also, I don't know if she forgot to but she didn't lotion my hands nor used a hot towel, which was a bummer, because you know that's the whole nail spa experience. But the nail job was Okay the needy greedy details you probably wanna head. Because I'm a very detailed oriented person! And girl let me tell you Miss. Taylor is my woman! I've gotten nails done for the past decade, been there and done that. For dip, you know they have to put the activator on etc etc..? Miss. Taylor, COVERS EVERY MILLIMETER OF YOUR NAIL!!!! None of just brushing the bristles lightly over the nails. No- not with Miss. Taylor. I watched everything. She legit paints every bit of your nail- PROPERLY, with every brush and every coating- including the tip of your nails- MEGA PLUS FOR ME. I'm very "OCD" and they satisfied all my needs. The work that Miss. Taylor does is on point. You can tell she really cares about what her nail art looks like on her clients- which is a MEGA MEGA PLUS. Cause she is not going to let you walk out of there with a half ass nail job done. Okay, the people. Lynn and Taylor are the two lovely young gals I met. They are super kind and accommodating. Most importantly they care about their business and their results. Also, you know normally most nail shops you know the ladies just be (probably) talking shit about you... I didn't feel that energy at Spring Nail Spa. They were professional, but also very friendly. Lynn and Taylor knows their shit. Cool part to, is they provide you like stamp card which I think is super fun and clever! It's like being rewarded at the end for keeping up with yourself I took a photo 9 days later to show that my nails are still going strong and looking beautiful. Not only are they not really matte, they are lumpy which really stands out with the half matte half shiny top coat. I'm torn between giving five stars for service and three stars for quality of work. They were very very sweet, got me in at the last minute and were very kind in listening to my many requests. I have a regular person who wasn't available and I needed a quick manicure. I made a few requests, mainly asking them to follow the shape of my current nails and the kind lady I was working with filed a strange and very sharp square that looked nothing like I asked for. I was explaining it to the tech next to her so she took over and got the shape a bit better. I asked for gel and the color looks great but there are huge lumps on the tips of every nail. If someone is reading this from the salon, the way to avoid lumps is to paint two nails at a time (instead of the whole hand at once) and put them under the light otherwise it gathers at the tip and dries in a pool. I wanted to be respectful and not tell them how to do their work so I didn't say anything. I probably won't go back for that reason. I also asked if they could file the color off and she put them in foil instead. Overall, they are very nice but the quality of work is not the best unfortunately. read more

LOVE how Lan did my dip manicure. The shape is perfect and it's not too thick! I also love the lavender color. I also got a pedicure and it was great with the warm scrub they use on your legs. He was more worried about Facebook messenger and his football stats on his phone. My set is all different lengths and some are mishaped. Color is even missing on the sides of my nails. I came in after work with a scheduled appointment but they seemed to have a lot of availabilities after probably having just reopened again. They were very professional from start to finish! They take your temperature at arrival and have you fill out a questionnaire on symptoms. They give you gloves should you want to look at the mail color swatches, and they give paper price menus. I received great care and they did an amazing job on my pedicure, it is really clean and even, I love it! My only complaint is that I accidentally got snipped on my second right digit so it stung just a bit, and the regular polish French tip was layered only once, whereas I'm use to receiving multiple layers. But no problem at all, with the shut down happening on and off and people not being able to work, it's understandable that you can be rusty. Overall, I had a great experience and they do quality application here! I'm looking forward to coming back to this location eventually, maybe for a gel polish instead. read more
