Buyers beware, came in as a first time customer, browsed the rack for a regular nail polish color, ended up falling in love with a gel color, she put it on, didn't cure it with the UV light and the next day it is chipping and even one of the nails peeled off entirely. When I called to talk to them about this they said I did not know what I was talking about and that it was regular polish even though I witnessed the bottle saying gel, so I went in to show them and suddenly my color is magically not there? And would only give me a $10 refund which is less than half of what I paid. She also told me that "regular nail polish chips within hours", why would anyone ever do that then? read more

What a HUGE disappointment! I call this salon asking if they had time for dip, and I was told yes come on in! Upon arriving I was seated within 5 minutes of my arrival, and offered water. Thanks for the free water! I tell the woman that I would like dip power and show her which color I want. We go on to talk about nonsense/small talk. I notice a man walk in with a bag of food and heads to the back room. I tell the woman who is doing my nails, oh how nice of him to bring you guys food. She then tells me, he's the owner and he also owns Pho ABC down the street. Which I've also been to and enjoy their food very much. As my nails are coming along, before she starts to dip my nails, she asks me if she can use a brush to apply as it would save time. I'm thinking to myself, sure why not as it's already 6pm and a week day. The whole process takes about 1.5 hrs from start to finish. I love my nails! And in such shock of how my dip experience took no more than record time! 3 weeks later, I attend another nail salon in Folsom to fill my dip again, as I'm sitting waiting 10 mins to remove the work Spring Nails did for me, my nail tech lady is in shock. The " dip powder " Spring nails used on me wasn't actually dip. The removal process was like taking off acrylic nails!!!! You guys lied and cheated a customer so that you can hurry up?! I don't understand why this location has 4.5 stars. I called to make an appointments for my friend and mines birthday for manis and pedis. When I arrived they had no record of my appointment. We started with the pedicures which was nice, but not relaxing. Towards the end of the pedicure that's when they started my manicure while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. They placed a dirty pillow in my lap, and after soaking began pulling and tugging at my cuticles. By far, worst manicure I have ever received. Then I was moved to a manicure table for the polish. The chair was dirty, there was acrylic powder and nail tips on the chair. The chair was wobbly and unstable. It was a rich you in and rush you out type of experience. It was not relaxing at all. Second time here and I love this place. Jane is the best! I'm usually a very picky person, and I have never been happier with my nails. She gets the shape perfect every time and is soo detail oriented. We had a little speck on my nails and she was so determined to get it out! Made an appointment super last minute and they were able to take me in for the time I wanted. The receptionist is super friendly and has a great positive attitude which makes for a very welcoming experience. I got a pedicure and acrylic full set, just a simple solid color but still in love with how it came out. The salon is decorated super cute with many places to take your perfect picture for the gram. First off what an amazing experience! I had called last minute to schedule with Nikki for a full set Ombre pink and whites, I was referred to her by another customer. I called as soon as they opened and without hesitation I was told I could come in within 15minutes. I really really love and appreciate this nail salon. I've gone off and on for many years because I now live far outside of Folsom. I went in on last Friday after a lunch with a friend that ran too long and I literally had no time to get my nails done but they looked horrible from being old and the place that did them was not good. Spring nails were so amazing to squeeze me in and had two people work on me to get my French manicure dip removed and redone in less than 40 mins!!!! These gals are my favorite! Here's what I enjoy about Spring nail spa: 1st- very attentive staff. I went in to get a full set before a trip to hawaii in January, then I went back in July for another set, and one gal asked how my vacation to Hawaii was, how school is going, etc... she remembered our conversation after 7 months, which I find very impressive. Certainly makes them stand apart from other salons. 2nd- easy to talk to. I always have easy conversations and friendly interactions with the staff. 3rd- great nails. Sounds obvious, but I've been to some other salons and left with uneven, bumpy, or unsymmetrical nails. At Spring, my nails have always looked amazing. 4th- they have a stamp card that rewards you with a discount after a certain # of visits. Enough said :) Tip: like EVERY salon, there may be a few minutes to wait for a spot, so I suggest calling ahead for an appointment (or just bringing patience with you). I have never waited long to get my nails done, but I also don't go if I am in a time crunch. Even with that being said, this salon is still my go-to for walk-in nail appointments because of the shorter wait times compared to other places--I just can't promise that will be the experience every time you go! read more

My daughter to had a gel manicure that was great with no chipping yet so I think it may have been a problem with the actual gel or dryer as I always get gel and it always lasts until my next manicure. Let me start by saying I'm a very fair and relaxed person. I give people the benefit of the doubt and will give a place the opportunity to make things right. Last week I took my 6 year old daughter into spring nails to get her a mani and pedi the day before school started. I didn't feel very welcome, i could sense irritation in the room, and saw the stylists shoot a few smug faces at another customer. Nobody greeted us, asked if there water temp was ok, or even attempt awkward small talk. I brushed it off. I choose spring nails because they were the only salon Nearby with a childs pedicure chair. A kids mani/pedi is listed as $20. The woman proceeded to trim her nails as I got the basic pedicure ($35 with gel (+$15). Before I had even gotten my heels scrubbed my daughters pedi was done. I asked her if she had leg massage yet, which she hadn't. So I just assumed the kids mani/pedi did not include one. Less than 20 mins after she sat in the chair my daughters fingers and toes were completely dry, and included flower stickers that she requested (+$5??) I had barely felt the woman's hands on my legs before my "massage"was done. I was then moved to the chair to get a full set of short, square acrylic nails ($55)(long and special shaped nails cost extra ) i chose gel color ($15) with a beautiful chrome top coat that I love and am so glad she talked me into (no mention of additional cost) once my nails were done, I noticed my ring finger nail was obviously misshaped and crooked, she filed it 1 time and brushed off the other 2 lumpy nails I pointed out. Although I wasn't fully satisfied I didn't push the issue since it was the end of the day I figured she was tired and so I didn't push the issue, id just file them myself at home. As the cashier was tallying my check the women began bickering over what I had gotten done and how much to charge me. They decided my total was $170, not giving it much thought, I tipped $30 so for a child's mani/pedi, 1 basic gel pedicure and a full set of acrylic gel nails + tip the total came to $200. As the week progressed I started adding up the amounts I remembered seeing on their price sheet. And realized something was off. So I called to anonymously ask how much it was for a the full set/gell/chrome nails, I was told $70. I then asked what the child's mani/pedi included, she said massage/nail trim /file, color and design for $20. I then told her who I was and how much I paid.after much discussion and investigating she concluded that at MINIMUM I had been overcharged $20. I was told a manager would call me back the next day after 1pm. Almost 2 days later and Still no call back. But the final straw that broke this camels back are the two painful, red and hot fingers. So My visit to spring nails was an unpleasant experience that left me overcharged, under serviced and infected. read more

I booked for wedding nails, told them the length, design and French tip. They double booked and rushed me. Jessica did one hand and had someone else do the other hand which was horrible. Jessica was in a rush and kept cutting me she was soooo bad at me. She kept saying I can't do your hands all day! They then blamed me that I was taking too long, I wasn't even doing anything I was so confused. But I had booked an appointment. This was for my wedding! They made me feel sooo bad and so uncomfortable. This was not the first time where they over booked with me. Then she proceeds to say I can't do your nails all day. Mind you it was only a French tip design with stones on finger with medium length. They made me feel so bad, they wanted to charge me $120 for French tip and stones on one finger. And they charge another $10 if you want your cuticles cut. the younger lady in the front is who I booked my appointments with every time and she overbooked me every time. The first time I brushed it off. Second time was ridiculous!!! Jessica did one hand and said someone else has to finish my other hand and she didn't know what she was doing and that's when I said I have to go elsewhere.
