This review is strictly for their service and spring rolls. Service was wonderful. The guy taking orders was very nice. The spring rolls were ok. They ran out of pork so I got one beef and one chicken. They were ok. The rice paper was very well moistened. No hard spots. And not soggy spots. But it was wrapped extremely loose. Floppy roll and once you bit into it you better use your entire hand to keep it all together . Flavors were there. Dipping sauce is a nut sauce. Not sure if it's their own or store bought. So I went to Tin Can Alley just to try the pho from here. Pictures + reviews had convinced me to go, so I did. I am so not disappointed at all with that choice. First of all, there are two sizes when ordering. Like small and large. I got large because I'm greedy, but the large was hugeeeeee. Literally so much it too me another day to finish it! I should've got the small basically lol The pho was delicious. Broth had good deep flavor and they gave me plenty of beef and toppings. It was also pretty spicy with the jalapeños and the chili sauce added. Perfect spice level though. You can also choose the noodle type you want and the protein type. They have a few different options to choose from. Next time I'll try the udon noodles with a different protein to see if all the pho from here is delicious or just the beef one! Perfect Pho cafe. Friendly staff P.Dob was great with helping my Granddaughter & boyfriend to make the perfect choice. His recommendations were right on target. They were very happy with the quality of the food received. Portions were just right, even had to take some home for dinner. Honestly, I love this place. I've gotten pho here dozens of times and it's often my go to. However, there are times that the pho is totally lacking on something. Again I've been here dozens of times and sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it's not at all. My most recent experience was by far the most disappointing...they made my order with the wrong noodle type, and when I brought it to their attention they told me they couldn't make me a new order. Instead they gave me the noodle type I originally order on top of the noodles that were already in the cup. I tried to remake my food at my table but it was the same and definitely not good. I just requested a refund instead. I appreciated that. The business just lost money because they didn't prioritize the customer. I've emailed the business email before due to the wrong order being made, but I have never gotten a response. I just don't think there's much value in loyal customers, so as much as their pho can be very yummy, I just don't think I'll be returning. Sad for sure! read more

Pleasantly surprised with the decent Pho here at Tin Can Alley. This is actually just one shop in this little structure of multiple restaurants with a central seating area. It's kind of like a standalone food court from a mall but way more fancy and cool. The Pho itself was tasty with a pleasant flavor and a nice selection of options for making it. It wasn't blow your mind amazing or anything (Unless you are really craving it in which case it might be that comfort you've been looking for as it was my wife), but it really was well crafted and especially for the price of the large, a great deal. It probably wouldn't even be as high rated in my opinion if it wasn't for the cool venue that it is in. Of course if it had its own establishment it would probably be able to be just as interesting, but coming to this location is worth it on its own. The local shops with some cool ice cream, barbeque, pizza and brewery attached means that even if you weren't in to Pho you could come here with others and they could get one of the other shops. read more

Delicious pho! I had the veggie pho with tofu and rice noodles. Probably the best veggie pho I've had and the best vegetarian option within tin can alley. The broth was very flavorful and I liked the pieces of tofu inside. My friend really enjoyed his pho. I tried a bite of the egg noddle and it was a nice chewy texture. Our food came out very quickly and we were prompted with a little buzzer device. Tin Can Alley itself is a nice spot to hang out with beautiful views of the mountains, but the music was a bit too loud with booming bass. If you go to tin can alley you can't go wrong with eating here (although some other reviews don't seem too high on the banh mi - something I didn't try). read more

I have driven past several times, and keep saying that I want to go here. Well, today we stopped. We each got a medium Pho with beef brisket and beef broth. I got the the rice noodles, and the other was with udon noodles the 16 ounce cup was packed to the rim with lots of meat and noodles, and some green onion, jalapeño pepper slices, and cilantro. It was flavorful and very filling. The spring rolls were delicious. The place was clean and decorated nicely. The service was quick, all freshly made, and the two people working there were very helpful and pleasant. I wish them much luck. The food is definitely worth the trip. read more

You know as far as the pho goes Pho Kup is pretty middle of the road, I ordered the Major Pho cup with rice noodles and rare steak in a lemon grass beef broth. It had a lot of noodles and a decent tasting broth, and for the price was a good portion of food but it wasn't especially memorable. However the fact that it's in Tin Can Alley gives it an extra star, the fact you can get beer or other snacks gives it the support it needs. Ultimately I'd come back but not necessarily for their Pho it's good, not blow your mind amazing. read more

Before I dig into reviewing the food, this must be declared: that's a pretty punk rock title, y'all. It's more than tongue-in-cheek, more than Schitt's Creek, it's juvenile and just a teensy bit anarchist, and it makes me want to eat some damn soup. The branding here is dope, too. So something feels a little, I dunno, sacrilegious, about ordering phở in a food court. I've spent my entire life making obscene slurping grunts, suffering insanely spicy bowls in tiny brothels all over the country. That's how you're supposed to do phở, it's ramen's garage band, served up with foreign bits and pieces of tongue, gristle, blotches of blood on the surface. With Pho Kup, it's almost as if this Vietnamese soul food has signed with a major record label, landed on commercial radio and straight up sold out. But hey, like The Clash, selling out can be a very good thing for the world at large, and these guys represent. I thought the noodles were weak and the chicken was small and sparse (I prefer big chunks of pollo, thanks), but the spicy beef broth bordered on excellent, even if it was missing some accents, like star anise. Overall, the anticipated sides -- jalapeno, bean sprout, basil -- weren't plentiful enough, but whatever, here's the deal: there was a line for this food. There were all sorts of Burqueños shoveling chopsticks into kups throughout Tin Can Alley. New Mexicans are getting into this food, and that, my friends, is a great thing, because phở is some of my favorite food on the planet, and everyone deserves a taste of life's greatest music. read more

Phô Cup is another delicious addition from the local entrepreneur Dipo, who also owns The Potato Corner, The Paleta Bear, & Spring Rollin! We came around 2:30pm on a Thursday. Did not have to wait in line and the attendee was very kind. We ordered the sriracha line wings, pork egg rolls one small pho with thin noodles, steak and beef broth and one small pho with thin noodles, chicken and beef broth. The food was delivered promptly by an nice young women. The chicken wings did not give the sriracha lime taste I was looking for, the sriracha was very light and I could not taste lime at all. The meal came with 3 1/8 sections of lime so that was helpful with the flavor of the wings. They were still tasty though! The pork egg rolls were hot and delicious. I was surprised how good they were and would have definitely ordered more! They came with the regular sweet chili sauce which only added to their crispy, crunchy goodness. I'm not the biggest fan of Pho but decided to try it with chicken and I was pleasantly surprised. The dish was pretty good (4/5), I needed a bit more depth of flavor, however adding two sirrachas was helpful. The chicken was a little over cooked, and under seasoned, however the dish overall was pretty good. In the steak pho the steak was cooked perfectly however needed a bit more seasoning. The veggie pho was just okay. The broth didn't have much flavor and tasted a bit odd before I added hoisin and sriracha. And where are the veggies? Just a bit of mint and basil.. It's not really Vietnamese. It's ok. I ordered the large pho (major) with udon (Japanese rice noodle), brisket, spicy beef broth. It's the closest they have to a Bun Bo Hue. But it had very little meat and only a few veggies they put in. You can't put your own cilantro, basil, mung beans and such. I also ordered the spring rolls (goi cuon). They were good but no hot sauce, just peanut hoisin sauce. It was OK. The staff was completely unaware of the Vietnamese names for the food. But they were nice enough. I certainly do not recommend the place to Vietnamese aficionados. But for a quick bite and a beer at Santa Fe Brewing Company, it's a bit of alright. I wish they could fix up a bowl of proper Bun Bo Hue or pho ga, I would never leave. read more

Tin Can Alley is a fun place to visit, and Pho Kup is a pretty cool destination for a meal. I went with my friend for lunch, we walked in, ordered, and got our food fairly quickly. The atmosphere is terrific at Tin Can Alley. When we sat down with our food we were both ecstatic to eat it. I had ordered the Minor cup with egg noodles, rare steak, and beef broth. My friend ordered the exact same thing. I'm not too sure if our order got mixed up with someone else's, but I did not eat the cup that I ordered. My friends order was correct, and he was able to enjoy his cup. On the other hand, I had no idea what I was eating, whatever it was it had zero flavor. During the meal I just wanted something else for my taste buds to actually enjoy, so I went back and ordered a smoothie which was spectacular. Like a high school cafeteria...only slower. I ordered the smoked brisket pho. Took at least 20 minutes to arrive. This wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't waiting in a loud, metal building. Noodles were alright, veggies were scarce, brisket was dyed red and seemed to be impregnated with smoke flavoring, I'd be surprised if the broth wasn't reconstituted from a powder. I saw pho kup on yelp and decided to get my pho fix. I am staying at a near by hotel and had passed tin can alley thinking it was a bar. Instead I walked in and there are multiple restaurants in an industrial setting. I ordered beef pho and egg rolls, the person waiting on me if I wanted egg rolls New Mexico style? I asked what is that and he said egg rolls with broccoli and green chili, I passed this time and ordered deep fried egg rolls & a bang mi pork sandwich for later. The pho was exceptionally good I have had pho in a dozen different states and pho kup made my top five best. I am a big eater and still could not finish my large (major) pho. This was my go to place when I want Pho because they have one of the best lemongrass broth in the city. I went to this place today after working out at the gym and got there at 7:45... I stood there for 3 mins and even the Asian lady looked right at me and didn't say anything. A customer finally came up to pickup their order and the employee help him then ask me how can I help you and I said I want to order the minor cup then she points at a small sign and tells me since they close at 8pm then they are not serving anymore PHO... I'm like what? So why didn't the Asian lady tell me as soon as she saw me that they are not serving anymore and just made me stand there looking like an idiot... bad customer service... it's not the employee's fault cause she didn't see me but the Asian lady saw me so couldn't have she told me when she saw me that they are not serving anymore. I can go to any Pho Restaurants in the city and get there a minute before they close and they will still serve me... word to the wise... do not come here at 7:30 or beyond because they will not serve you pho... read more
