A great family runs Thai/Lao deliciousness in Alburquerque. Excellent services and delicious food to boot Passing through on the way home from California and stopped in to visit and an old friend; stopped in to have us some delicious Lard Na, chicken sate, Lao Papaya salad, and chicken wings. All were delicious and when travel in that direction, we will definitely stop in again

Cold day, time for soup - or something close. So Thai fits the bill and we're close to here so a stop is in order. Entrance is in the back so we had to drive around the block to get to parking and the entry. It's a walk up counter to order and menus are in a stand so you can decide before you get to the counter. We got Imperial rolls (4 to an order) to start, Red Curry with pork and Green Curry with chicken. Both ordered with medium heat. Plus the obligatory Thai Tea - it was smooth, not overly sweet or bitter. The Imperial Rolls arrived, followed by our entrees. The Red Curry was well spiced, loaded with pork, & flavorful. Heat was lower end of moderate. Likewise the Green Curry. I wasn't a fan, not caring for the taste. The wife liked it so... Overall decent lunch, enough to insure I didn't leave hungry and someplace we look forward to enjoying again

I've lived in Albuquerque for several years, and this was the 1st time I've tried this place. The food was amazing! I had the red curry with chicken that comes with some rice. You can pick the spice level, which is a plus. There is off street parking and a dedicated lot in the back. The lot is gated, which is a plus due to the location (on central). Staff was friendly and explained ingredients on a dish if needed.

A good local "hole in the wall" that has been here forever for good reason. But don't let hole in the wall deter you. Despite the location the food service and ambiance is very nice. You order at the counter then sit where you'd like. I have been here three times now and have not tried anything I do not like. Recommend the Pupu platter for a little Instagram worth pic!

An amazing Thai restaurant for sure. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai three days ago, and had three delicious dinners since. The portions are HUGE and they aren't stingy with the shrimp either. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean for it to be so close to closing and the staff were very friendly. Definitely a great place to eat!

Orchid Thai is a counter-serve Thai restaurant off Central. There's ample parking in the back that's off the main road, which is nice. Inside, seating is at tables with chairs instead of booths, so wheelchair users will have no issues here. Orchid Thai serves a variety of alcoholic drinks along with the standard sodas and teas. The entree menu is large, and they had an item I've not seen in my years of Thai dining: a Green Tea Curry. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of green tea flavors, so I skipped this dish. I got the Pud Thai (usually spelled "pad"), which consisted of a protein choice, rice noodles, egg, bean sprouts, peanut sauce, crushed peanuts, broccoli, steamed squash strips, and a lime garnish. I ordered the dish medium, but they forgot the spice and it came mild without a hint of added heat. While the portion sizes were quite large, the food itself was mostly just fine. I'd describe it as "doing the job" since I was hungry, but I wouldn't crave what they served. There are other Thai places around that are much better and are less expensive. It seems the focus here is on quantity over quality.

I adore this place :) I got the pad thai and pineapple curry. I loved them both, so much food. I wasn't expecting the potato in the curry, it was so good!! The service was really kind and attentive! It's also really cool that you come in through the back door, it feels like a secret. There's also a really cute atmosphere with a waterfall on the wall. I can't wait to come back.

This was the only place open on New Year's Day came in for a warm dinner. I order my basic chicken pad thai to be safe since it was my first visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and how balanced everything was. This is one of the best pad Thai meals I've had in awhile. Prices are also reasonable but service was a bit slow. Inside there is lots of color with artwork and painted murals on the walls. There are some spots that are very tight though. The waiter sat me and my friend in a corner and my chair was touching the other person's chair back and my friends chair was right against the wall. They need to space the tables more it was kinda uncomfortable where we sat.

This place came recommended to us as we were visiting Albuquerque from Los Alamos! We're so glad someone mentioned it, because the service was amazing and the food was even better. We got spring roll appetizers (10/10) that came fresh and hot out first. An order of the pad Thai noodles with shrimp which were flavorful and really delicious with the lime (8/10) only because I wasn't too keen on the thin noodles. And I got the drunken noodles with shrimp spicy 4/4 which were so flavorful and delicious, I couldn't put my fork down (10/10). When you walk in, you order before you sit down and she'll either hand you your drinks or bring them over with your order number. Very shortly after, she'll bring out the plates and double check everything is okay. She had really great service throughout our meal even though it was paid for first. We will be back not only for the great food, but for the warm and welcoming service as well!

Orchid Thai was great! The drunken noodles and pud Seiew were very tasty. Food was ready exactly when they said it would be. One star off because I think the pad see ew was a bit dry. Still good though and would order again!

I started with a Thai iced tea, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and creamy, and very refreshing. For an appetizer we ordered the potstickers, which came out hot and crispy with a tasty dipping sauce that paired really well with them. For my entrée I had the fried rice with tofu, and it was excellent. The rice had great flavor and texture, and the tofu was cooked nicely with a good mix of vegetables. My husband ordered another noodle soup dish that looked amazing as well--it had a flavorful beef broth, noodles, and herbs that smelled incredible. Overall, the food was delicious and the experience was really enjoyable. If you're looking for Thai food in Albuquerque, Thai Spice is definitely worth a visit. Five stars all the way!

The pineapple fried rice was the perfect balance spicy, sweet and savory. The rice had the perfect texture and the perfect balance of flavors, I just don't think anyone could have made it any better. I'm absolutely addicted, I feel the exact same way about the pad Thai as I do the fried rice. It's hard to say which one is my favorite dish here. The pad Thai had a little sweet too but not too much, just enough to really make all the other flavors come home. I have very rarely had a better pad Thai than this anywhere. It is a contender for every some of LA's best Thai food. The drunken noodles / pad see ew. Is good, really good actually. Not quite the same sentiment as the other two but I thought it was great and I would definitely be willing to eat it again. The only criticism I have is I wish their phone customer service wasn't on the weird side. I called and the lady first told me they don't have delivery, I asked her directly and said "not even on Uber Eats or DoorDash? Then she said maybe our website might have an option, so I went on there, it was some unknown third party company I never heard of. I was a little hesitant to put my card on it but I really wanted to try Thai spice so I took the chance, Sure enough the driver arrived on time; food was hot, and I enjoyed my experience. Hopefully their employees learn what they are able to do so the next customer doesn't walk away.

Best pad see eww / jungle noodles that I've had in New Mexico by a long shot. Absolutely loved it. The ingredients tasted so fresh , you could tell nothing was from a can or frozen. The sauce at the bottom was just to die for. Pineapple fried rice 10/10. This tied for first place, it's possibly the very best fried rice in New Mexico but it's just so close. What I loved is that they spared no expense on ingredient quality, they even used cashews rather than cheaper nuts like peanuts. Each veggie was cooked perfectly and they actually put tomato which I've never had in fried rice but man it was good! Believe it or not the pad Thai was only 5/10, not too bad; nothing to write home about. I was surprised about that since every other item blew my socks off. What might have been the worst part of the pad Thai was the regular chicken was dry and chalky. Most Thai places have thinner softer chicken they use, luckily for the other meals I had shrimp which was really good and fried chicken which was also really good I'd love to try more of their food,
