Stayed here during the last long weekend. The hotel paper receipts were shown that the balance is zero when I check out since I already paid the fees through Priceline. However, the hotel charges my credit card $218.90 without any other receipts after I leave. No papers, no emails, no text. It's a horrible experience. DO NOT recommend! read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and very quiet. The vanity light was very dim; I had to go to the window to put my makeup on. The free breakfast was just okay. When I first got there, they had run out of scrambled eggs and I wasn't interested in anything else. I was pretty ticked thinking that a banana and some milk would be my breakfast. About 10 minutes after I sat at the last seat available, they brought more eggs out. Would've also been nice to have more of a selection; there were no waffles, pancakes, or even a breakfast casserole of some sort. I would've given this a 4-star if not for the so-so breakfast experience. It's too expensive not to have a great breakfast. read more

I would definitely stay here again. the only real suggestion I have for the room was the television angle was not very good for watching from bed, it was at an angle and kind of uncomfortable to watch. otherwise the room was good, the setup was clean, the staff was really nice and friendly, even the breakfast bar was ok. read more

My family of 7 stayed at this hotel on a return trip over Thanksgiving weekend. For the affordable price we payed, we were extremely pleased with our stay. The entire hotel looked fresh and new thanks to a recent remodel. The two queen beds were comfortable and clean, the sectional sofa with a pull-out bed was an excellent touch for extra seating and sleeping space for small children. There was absolutely nothing but the smell of clean air in our rooms, unlike other hotels where even non-smoking rooms are likely to have overwhelming odors. The bathroom was a nice size, and the toiletries were lovely. When we checked in, the front desk employee who helped us was there more than 2 hours past her shift, and she was still very friendly and energetic, which helped our arrival - after a long drive in very poor weather - feel very welcome. We agreed that we would *definitely* stay here again! read more

Wonderful for families! Our room was plenty big for three adults and two children . . .sofa bed worked but we chose to add an air mattress as most sofa beds are not the best. There was a self service laundry right down from our room on the first floor and, as a mom, I used it! So convenient. Breakfast was hot with plenty of choices - saved us so much money on meals! We stayed a lot at Hilton's Embassy Suites and Marriott's Residence Inn. It was refreshing to see that this Spring Hill Suites keeps up with those more expensive hotels in nearly every department: - clean modern rooms with updated furniture and amenities - nice roomier double queen suites - helpful and friendly staff - large bathrooms with very good water pressure on shower Wish they could have an an omelette station like those at Embassy Suites; like others mentioned, they do have styrofoam plates and plastic water cups. Don't know such plates are cheaper than reusable porcelain plates and silverware. The room views were nothing to rave about, being close to I-5, a Walmart, and a shopping center. We will certainly be adding SpringHill Suites to our list of hotels to search for our next stays. read more

Nice Hotel!! My family & I stayed at this hotel while passing through. It was conveniently located near the interstate for easy departure. There is a Walmart and a few restaurants across the street. The hotel was clean and the staff was great. The breakfast was ok. I'm usually a meat eater but the meat wasn't very appetizing. I think it was some type of sausage patty The waffles are wonderful which is one thing I look forward to during my stay at select Marriott hotels. Overall, a great hotel. I would stay again if in the area. read more

This hotel was great!! They really thought of everything! The layout was wonderful because of the little living room separated from the "bedroom" by a half wall! The TV is placed strategically between both rooms on a swivel so that parents can watch TV in the living area, while the kids can sleep without being distracted by a view of the TV! Brilliant! There was a microwave in the room, as well as coffee machine and mini fridge! There was a work space AND a pull out bed in the couch! They even provided make-up remover in little "wet wipe" packages. :) There is a new Wal-Mart walking distance from the hotel, but it's not like you really need to go there for snacks as the lobby's "mini mart" was stocked with all kinds of frozen foods like pizza, hot pockets, and mac and cheese! We were really blown away by everything that was included. Oh! And it has a laundry room too. But the quality didn't end there. It was very clean, and the beds had 4-6 super cozy pillows each. I even slept through all the bumping my husband heard, because I was so comfortable. The employees were very friendly and greeted us everytime we walked through the lobby. For all that was included, we were also happy with the price! Springhill from now on!! read more

Stayed here for an overnight stop on a long drive up the coast back to Seattle. The rooms were large and very comfortable for a small travelers hotel. You can hear your neighbors though (so don't forget your earplugs when you travel!). We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked very clean and well kept. Breakfast was a nice addition. All in all, if you need to lay your head in Medford, drive straight here! read more

What an awesome place to stop for the night! The employee working the front desk when we arrived to check availability and prices was an absolute pleasure to work with. And I mean that. She was friendly and personable and got us into a room right on the first floor, especially convenient since we have a kiddo that wanted to play in the pool. Big, clean room. Paul Mitchell amenities. Big bathroom, and a little bar/kitchen area with 4-cup coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Very comfortable beds. Pool is on the smaller size but not bad, and the hot tub was in good working order. One thing of note, the rail going into the hot tub was really awkwardly placed. As in its so low we don't really know how it's of any use to anyone lol But that's just a small thing. The breakfast was pretty well rounded we thought. There were the usual breads, muffins, oatmeal, yogurts, cereals. Plus sausages and scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and meat n cheeses. Something for everyone. The hotel is in a good location not far off the freeway, and close to restaurants and stores. We left very happy, this will likely be a place we'd stay again on our way through! read more

I recently stayed at this hotel and really wished I hadn't. After spending a long day at the hospital with my granddaughter, I arrived late to the hotel. I unpacked, got myself showered and ready for bed. I was looking for a USB to charge my phone. This hotel hasn't upgraded to include that for their rooms. I was disappointed. The clock radio had an older Iphone - which I'm sure no phone has that capability any longer. Also - I have a sleep machine and another outlet either on a lamp or in the wall would have been nice. Not available. So, I then pulled back the bedding to find HAIR on the sheets. I thought, wait was that mine? So, I removed it, then as I pulled further down there was more. I went to the other side of the bed, to find yet more. I immediately called down to have them come and change the bedding. Did not make me happy having the thought that housekeeping was taking short cuts such as that. I didn't want to think of someone else's DNA in bed with me. Not a good nights sleep - having that thought on my mind. Also, noticed they had bottled water with a tag for VASA pure $2.50 - to find a bottle of Arrowhead water - what's that about? The hotel did apologize, as they changed the bedding, took pictures and were fast. I don't think for the reasons listed above that I will be back until upgrades have been made. Disappointing - as I really like staying at Marriott properties. read more

After a long trip from San Francisco, this was a gem to find! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well laid out. My family had plenty of room to stretch out. We enjoyed the pool, and location shopping. This is a freeway exit hotel, so we didn't expect attractions nearby. Instead, for some weary travelers, it was nice to have several stores and restaurants close by for easy access. We have a few minor issues we addressed with the staff, and they were quick and eager to help make sure everything met our expectations. I definitely recommend this location to anyone passing by. read more

This hotel has a lot going for it. We stayed here because the organizer of our high school class reunion recommended it. We did get a slightly reduced rate. The staff was amazing: everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large. The beds comfortable. There were lots of pillows. There were lots of towels. The amenities were separately bottled and we had cakes of soap. I dislike the trend to provide dispensers instead of personal servings. The breakfast was included and about average though I really appreciated the bananas being ripe. Why three stars? There is a lot of highway noise making it hard to sleep. The pool is by the lobby and breakfast area so the smell of chlorine filled the air. It is a clean smell but we don't like it with breakfast or as we enter the hotel lobby or as we ride the elevator. read more

right off i-5, exit 27. place is pretty spendy for what you get (paid $139/night + tax). checked in at 230pm without a problem. registration guy was super nice (if not 18 years old) and was helpful. all staff look spiffy and professional. anyway, the room itself is 3 stars.....really nothing special and not big for a suite (i expected a real suite). room was normal size, but with a half-wall divider to make it seem like a suite. bed was wonderful, very nice. bathroom OK, if not on the small side (one sink, etc.). there was a kitchenette, but no silverware or plates or paper towels...so really no point. there was a microwave and fridge. parking very plentiful. not much scenery out the window (1st floor), besides big hunks of concrete. yeah. would i stay here again? uh...no would try the hampton in town next time (me loves Hampton). in the end, 3 stars A-OK. read more

We attended corporate conferences in Medford, OR; and I can't say enough about our "home away from home". The service over the top, the rooms comfortable and kept immaculate throughout our stay; and the delicious fare at the breakfast buffet gave us an amazing selection to get our day started. Whenever travelling through Medford we will always include Spring Hill Suites in our travel itinerary ( and will make it a point to take the time to enjoy the indoor pool/ spa, and try out the exercise room!). During booking I noticed I would get a $25 gift card for each night I stayed for Harry & David plus a nice box of truffles. I was able to get a nice chocolate set and have it shipped home for the lady, and many other treats and goodies to take with me. While at the hotel, the front desk staff was friendly and quick to serve. Breakfast was standard, the pancake mix gets goopey sometimes and they were out of coffee one morning, but overall good. I enjoyed their pool and hot tub. I did notice an odd smell whenever I entered the hotel lobby, it had the smell of chlorine and industrial strength cleaner; the rooms are cleaned with that cleaner and can be a little over-whelming at first. As with most of OR, smoking is not allowed within 10ft of an entrance and there aren't any cigar lounges in MFR, I went out back by the pool and made sure I was more than 10ft, though. Overall, this hotel was good, located by several shopping areas, great service, and fair priced. read more

Great find! This room was very good for the price! It was actually two rooms and the beds were nice everything seemed new and clean. There was a prominent bleach smell but nothing looked out of place and everything was comfortable. The tv had a lot of channels and the bathroom was all that i needed. We didn't even end up using the extra room provided (with sofabed) but it was nice to know it was there. This room had a lot of space and you could order new movies from the tv if you were stuck inside for any reason. The breakfast wasn't great, just average. Grab and go, get some juice. I did notice when we came in at night that wine was set out in the reception area for all the people who were watching the game. I'm not into sports but the wine was a nice touch and I would've grabbed some if the room wasn't filled already with traveling sports lovers. I will stay here again if I need a hotel in the area, this was the perfect home away from home. read more

The hotel is decent... rooms cleaned and close to nearby attractions but if u have kids... don't even think about feeling welcomed here. We brought our entire sports team and everyone was fully supervised. But because we had children with us the staff made the assumption we were a problem. we were made to feel like we were unwelcome from the minute we walked in the door. When we got there they had every family on our team sign a alarm red colored form that stated that if we were a problem they would charge us more.. when we went to the swimming area the staff came in to monitor and announce that they were watching us. When we ate dinner they came in to monitor would warn us about things we weren't even doing.... We have never had issues before and if we did we sure as heck wouldn't let our kids run wild. like I said discriminating against us because we were families with children. you would think that they would be more hospitable because of the business we brought to them however....that was not the case. I do not recommend this hotel for sports teams or families with children. We have been to other hotels in the area and they were just as nice but had a much better sense of what good hospitality is. read more
