I have been a customer at the Bronze Cafe on Buffalo, so I was expecting the same good food I'd had before. The Springs Cafe, run by a subsidiary of the Wolfgang Puck food world when it opened, has had different operators since the Puck contract was ended. My wife and I went years ago and enjoyed sitting on the patio so much. In the ensuring years, we weren't customers very often. After the last change of operator to the Bronze Cafe, I was going to go back but the days of operation were cut after reopening from Covid and the timing didn't work out. I was at the Springs Preserve to see the exhibit on dinosaurs with the plan to have breakfast or lunch after seeing the exhibit. Entrance to the cafe is either from the preserve itself (an entrance fee required) or you can enter the cafe from the parking lot with no charge. It's on the second floor of the building with the lovely patio looking toward DTLV and the Strip. Since it was only 95º, I decided to sit on the patio. After ordering near the entrance, you get a post with a number for your table and they bring it you. I ordered the turkey sandwich and an iced chai made with almond milk. The chai was brought first and later the sandwich. The chai was an absolute failure. It was likie drinking iced almond milk. There was little if any chai flavor. I didn't finish the drink but tossed some of it into the garbage. When I got home, I made my own iced chai from chai I purchase online. Then the sandwich came. It looked like I ordered a mixed green salad sandwich. If you look above some of the greens,on my photo you can see some sliced turkey. The amount fo greens made the sandwich a bit difficult and messy to eat. The menu describes the sandwich as turkey, avocado, spring mix, tomato, shaved red onion, basil aioli, and lemon vin. The lemon vin, which came in a small cup, just made eating the sandwich messier. The bun was a bit tough which made the whole experience less than pleasing. We were thankful that the Museum had a cafe. We did not see this feature on their website, but we may have just missed it a is it's part of the complex and not an individual Museum. After walking through the state Museum and not seeing the cafe, but knowing there was one as there was a sign on the main gate we inquired from a staff member and they pointed us in the direction. This cafe is behind the ticket booth not in one of the two Museums. I didn't see a sign for it and it was a little confusing to get there due to the lack of signage. We still couldn't find it so we asked another staff member and he pointed us to the elevator. Apparently it's upstairs. You have two choices, the winding staircase or the elevator. The elevator got hearty use due to all the strollers and kids. Once we got upstairs there still wasn't a sign, but there were doors so we walked in. Soon as you walk in you are at the cash register. They have 2 freezers of frozen treats by the door and the beverage fridge facing the door. We instantly got in line and we found a menu lying on the counter so we viewed it and planned our next meal. The first thing we saw was the fried chicken Sammie. There was only one family in-front of us and we didn't want to hold up the line. The fried chicken Sammie looked good so we got it. I believe it was $13. 2 Fried chicken tenders, with pickles, and basil aioli sauce. We were hungry so it sounded good. I wasn't sure about eating chicken tenders in a sandwich, it really sounded like chicken nuggets between bread. It said it came with one side. I'm not exactly sure what that meant as I ordered a side of fruit and they charged me $3. I wasn't informed of this it just showed up on the bill. When you order make sure you ask what are you side choices that come with it that isn't an additional charge. And leave a review and let me know what the side options for free include. I did state when ordering that it comes with a side and can I get the fruit. They should have said, yes, but that's an additional $3 and I would have asked at that time what sides were included. Live and learn. Make sure they give you a number when you check out. I didn't get one, but looking around as people were bringing out their food I noticed that everyone else had one so I inquired from one of the bussers and he got the number for us. As for the sandwich. It really does come with 2 breaded chicken tenders slapped on a bun with pickles and the basil aioli sauce. The meat was plentiful so that was good, a little thick in my opinion, but for $13 why not, you're getting your money's worth of chicken. The sandwich is tasty and filled both of us up, but I wouldn't get it again. We also got a bottle of water that I belive was $2. I didn't see a water station. Seating was plentiful even with it being pretty busy in there. You have two options you can sit inside with the AC, but according to my husband it was too cold so we sat outside with the friendly pigeons. There were two of them so close to the table, but I'm happy to report that they kept off our table, They stayed on the window shade. It wasn't 'too hot out that day so seating outside was fine. For a cafe between two museum locations with plenty of free parking spots onsite, Springs Cafe is a true hidden gem on the 2nd floor. You can take the elevator or walk up those stairs. No, you don't have to pay museum admissions fees in order to access this public cafe. You can simply walk in and let the front security ticketing person know. There are special events (plant sales) that take place at the cafe on selective dates/seasons. Springs Cafe was much more spacious than I had expected. Inside was huge! Cashiers are all very nice people. Look at the menu near front counter and then line up at the cashiers to order. They give you a table number if dining in and a server will bring everything to you. Good service. Sit wherever you desire. Public restrooms are available. I really enjoyed sitting outside at the patio area of the cafe. Clean and well maintained. It was very relaxing to be up there as the Las Vegas record heat wave kicked in. Yes, you can see The Strip area at a distance. We had an avocado toast with one side potatoes. Orange juice is good for a quick stop. Caesars Chicken Salad with croutons was ok. Nothing above average in taste or food presentations yet. Simple foods. Maybe we will try other items next time. Good menu selections. List of coffee selections was long and interesting. Must love. It's definitely a good place for coffee enjoyment. Employees were really cleaning up after customers and they do a good job here too. Tipping is worth it. Our food came out fairly quickly, and we really enjoyed our meal. I'd describe the food as elevated cafeteria-style, similar to what you'd find at a nice museum café. It's simple, tasty, and well-prepared, but still casual enough to feel easy and approachable. One thing you must know: the patio is the star of the show. The view is absolutely beautiful, and sitting outside is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Great aesthetic with of seating! The menu is friendly for all my vegan and gluten free people! There are menus you can grab upon entering and walk up to the cashier to order. There are some nice pastries and chocolates to choose from at the counter as well. I ordered a salad that was very flavorful. Next time I would add chicken for some extra protein. What a great place to eat lunch! Awesome view and you don't need to pay admission to eat here. Menu has quite a few options and the kids loved their kids meals. Chicken fingers a little dry, fries were good. My daughter loved her french toast. I thought my burger was really good but the side salad needs a better dressing. We went here last sunday, for lunch. We took some of the boy's team mates to see the Springs Preserve. Give your tele number for the next time. I almost got the turkey sandwich but saw that it was vegan, so I opted instead for the chicken tender sandwich, at $13, with fries- could've been more done, for me. But the sandwich was really good, the chicken was to my liking. It was positioned a little awkward, I had more bread on one side, because of it. The bun was a pretzel bun, mmm. I love pretzel anything. I'd probably get this one again. Hubby got the basic burger and it was good, but I liked my sandwich better. We split then traded back. The boy also had the basic burger, and I think that it was too much bread, because he had to ditch the last of it in the end. I suggest if you bring little kids, you can order off of the kids menu. We ended up taking the rest of the fries home, all three of us had the fries as the side. One of the team mates got the bacon burger and the other one got mac & cheese (this was like a side size) so he could also get a smoothie, but good on managing the finances. I opted for a large round table inside, but didn't see that there was outside seating too, which was a nice day. Oh well, next time. The bathrooms are outside. Surprisingly high quality food is being served at this casual cafe in Springs Preserve. I have been to many small cafes located inside museums and parks because my kids have never seen a snack that they didn't need to have. I was expecting to find the typical chicken tenders and mac n' cheese on the menu, which they do have, but this place is so much more. My BLT was expertly crafted with a touch of house made bacon jam and basil aioli, sandwiched between a delicious ciabatta bread. But I was disappointed. I didn't even finish my iced coffee. Tasted like water down even though was espresso and would never get the flavor banana nut again. I liked it hot but not iced last time. For the desert we got a triple chocolate and that was so sweet I loved it. So chocolately, soft, and not dry. I would come back if visiting springs preserve but not on my free time. If you have a Bank of America card, you can come to Springs Preserve for free during the first weekend of each month! The Springs Cafe has a nice view of the strip, fresh air and open space. I opted for tomato soup, it's zesty, chunky, and so flavorful, I used it as the main dip for the fries. The Berry Stacio Salad ($12) is light and refreshing! Located in the Beautiful Springs Preserve, I stopped by for an early lunch. It's on the second floor with an elevator if neeeded. The second floor allows for indoor and outdoor seating with a wonderful view. It was already busy when I walked in, but the line moved along. Order at the counter and you get a number so that they can bring the food and drinks to you (there's a fountain drinks station inside). The staff also came around cleaning the tables and anything you were finished with. Very friendly. The Botanical Burger came with fresh hot well-salted crispy exterior and soft interior fries. The impossible patty was tender and flavorful. The caramelized onions added a lovely sweetness and balsamic tang to balance the sharpness of the arugula. The Chai Latte (24oz, iced, with oat milk) did take a while to come out (I devoured the burger and half my fries before it came out). Worth the wait though. It was heavy on the spices, and not overly creamy. The cafe is very family friendly (kid's menu, wide spaces between tables to push strollers along, and high chairs), so it's a nice spot to grab food and enjoy the view without having to leave Springs Preserve. read more

The location was also very clean which is rare when there are so many kids dropping food everywhere! But they have people walking around to clean up quickly and fast. The prices are a bit high, as to be expected from an attraction. $12 for a burger and $12 for salads. They had kids meals but I brought the kids their lunch so we saved money on their meals and they didn't give us any issues with eating our own food. They gave us plates and utensils to eat it! I LOVE this cafe! I just went on 5/22/25, and the only reason for minus one star is that they were out of items on the menu...which happened to be the exact things I wanted to eat. I wanted a turkey sandwich with a salad. They were out of turkey and out of spring mix for the salad. I ended up ordering the kids grilled cheese with tomato soup, and what's crazy is that about five minutes after receiving my order, I heard one of the cooks tell the cashier that they were now out of tomato soup. Had I ordered a little later, it would've been another item I wanted that's out. Hopefully the kitchen improves on inventory, or maybe this was just a one time situation if there was a surge of customers that week. I also ordered the lavender coffee. Sounds delicious, was told it's popular, but after each sip, there was always a very bitter aftertaste. I tried to tell myself it was just in my mind and ignore it, but my husband tried a sip and he noticed too. I unfortunately just couldn't get myself to like the drink. I asked the cashiers if there was anything that can be done and they offered to either remake it or just refund it for me, or I can order an entirely different drink. I opted to try the Matcha coffee instead as I did want a cold, caffeinated drink to enjoy with my lunch. They were all so nice about and apologetic. That meant a lot to me as I felt horrible about pretty much wasting that lavender drink. I also ordered three berry lemon baked goods. It was sort of like a cookie bread hybrid. It's almost like a panko crust but more thick, and the pieces are large for being a kids meal. The grilled cheese my daughter and I had is delicious as well. The tomato soup is not like a canned type so that's a plus. It's like actual tomatoes that were puréed and made in their kitchen. It's way better than you'd think especially with a grilled cheese! The food that we did get in the past and this time was and is always delicious! The staff is friendly and kind, and the views are so nice! Having a meal here during a visit is an absolute must! The Springs Café is located near the Origen Museum and next to the entrance at the Springs Preserve. To place an order, you'll have to wait for availability at the register. Their menu offers a wide range of salads, sammiches, burgers, and breakfast options. We had decided to order the following Chicken Strips and Sweet Potato Fries ($8.00) French Toast Sticks (4), served with syrup ($5.00) Organic Lemonade ($3.50) Once we placed our order, we were provided a number and water cups. Be prepared for a wait if it's busy inside the restaurant. We waited for over 40 minutes for our order. It took the lemonade approximately 20 minutes! The food was decent. The French Toast Sticks were phenomenal! There was so much sugar and cinnamon on the snickerdoodle French Toast Sticks. My daughter didn't like the chicken strips. The breading was falling off the chicken and the tender wasn't juicy, but dry. She did like the sweet potato fries though! This restaurant is self service. Utensils and any dipping sauces are available upon what's available in their inventory. Fountain drinks are freely accessible if you get a soda or water cups. Springs Cafe is much more than I expected from the cafe at a nature preserve. It's a tasty mix of Bronze Cafe food and Aspire Coffeehouse beverages. You can find something healthy or something decadent here. The line to order can be pretty slow. We have always received food without a long wait once we order though. The cafe offers breakfast and lunch items. We've enjoyed everything we've had here. The Boomtown Burger was really good and not too big. The Berry Salad was fresh with a tasty dressing. The BLT was loaded with greens and surprisingly on the lighter side. My husband loved the Breakfast Sammich. The crab seasoned potato chips they sell are a favorite for my husband. My toddler loved their macaroni and cheese. We've ordered coffee from here three times. I'm still figuring out how to order a tasty coffee from them. I think there is potential. For some reason they only offer iced lattes in 24 ounce cups so the lattes are super milky with no coffee flavor. Next time I'm going to try adding a shot of espresso or getting a hot latte. I always feel ripped off and wish I would have just gone somewhere else to eat. We have ordered breakfast and lunch. I had these waffles that looked great but they were cold and almost tasted frozen. We have ordered their burgers and they are just okays they look decent, but they taste fine and the food is always kind of warm, never hot. The burgers taste like they are missing ingredients. The food menu features three sammiches that have vegan analogues. Vegucated Order is my favorite because it has everything the other two sandwiches do. Among the ingredients are vegan turkey, soy bacon strips, and plenty of healthy veggies. Botanical Burger is what I'd like to try next. For my most recent visit, I enjoyed the Vegan Breakfast Burrito from their specials menu. The arugula provides a nice peppery flavor. I'm a big fan of the superfood latte, Green Eye, made with matcha and espresso, which I get with soy milk. Located on the second floor, the indoor and outdoor seating both provide a nice view overlooking Springs Preserve. Service is friendly and prompt, though the series of questions asked when placing your order can seem like overkill. read more
