I was hoping to go today for one last time, but I cant get through on the phone, and the website is saying - no locations found. I love almost everything about Sprinkles other than that a standard cupcake is 450 calories! Yowza! But it's worth it since they are sooo tasty and have such a generous amount of frosting! The Vegan Red Velvet Cupcake (which ironically is my favorite even though I'm not Vegan, I just think it tastes better than the regular red velvet cupcake) is 490 calories! Sheesh! But still it's pretty amazing with all of the delicious chocolate. They also make 6" and 8" cakes as well as smaller "individual" cakes. They have a club where you can sign up to get points where you can earn free cupcakes as well as a free cupcake on your birthday month which is awesome! This location is in the shopping center in CDM between MacArthur/Avocado and PCH by the library. Parking is free and plentiful and they also do curbside. However I found it's often quicker just to come inside and get your order yourself. They used to have 2 locations where one was retail and one was curbside but now it's all combined in their old retail location (the left hand side one as your'e looking at the store front). Inside you can order from a kiosk or with a person and they have the rack right when you walk in where they have their pick up orders. I like ordering online so it's easy and fast to pick up the orders and when you order online that adds to your points as well. I love how they have seasonal flavors but the Vegan Red Velvet is by far my favorite flavor! The only place that does a better Red Velvet (imho) is Nothing Bundt Cakes since they put chocolate chips in their Red Velvet cake. But if you're a fan of red velvet, I'd recommend giving the Vegan Red Velvet a try! I like it better than the non-vegan and I think that's literally the only Vegan thing I can say that about! read more

Swung by Sprinkles in Newport to pick up my birthday reward (as I should) and, naturally, walked out with two cupcakes.. I couldn't let my Spiced Cranberry Vanilla be lonely, so a Lemon Blueberry came home with me too! Zero regrets. The Spiced Cranberry Vanilla is a fun seasonal cupcake, but the Lemon Blueberry still reigns supreme in my stomach. I've been coming here for years now, and the cupcakes are always delicious. It is very sweet, so it's perfect to share with a group. The instore kiosk allows you to place your order and pay on your own. I liked that the kiosk allows you to see the ingredient list. The employee that I encountered was helpful. They made sure to check in and see if I needed any help. I joined the rewards program so we'll see how that goes. They were promoting their five dollar and under menu as new. My cupcake happened to be part of that menu. I hadn't been in a while so I did didn't even know that their cupcakes were over five dollars anyway. I'm glad they brought the price down. They packaged my cupcake in a box with a little cupcake holder so that it didn't get messed up.There are tables right outside of the shop. I ate it at home . My favorite sprinkles location. The Irvine location is closer to me, but you can't beat this place for the parking and convenience. They still even offer curbside pickup, which is lovely. I've tried many of their cupcakes. My favorites are the strawberry and the red velvet. Also tried and enjoyed the Oreo cupcake. I like that they tell you how many calories are in each cupcake and that they have seasonal flavors. We were in and out quickly and everything tasted good. I have nothing bad to say about this place. They both loved their cupcakes too. This location seemed very busy with a combination of online and in store orders. The staff was moving fast, but they still took the time to help anyone. I had a reward for a free cupcake that seemed confusing to redeem on the self ordering tablet. When I asked how to redeem it, they explained that it was easier for them to enter the order, which they quickly completed. I was surprised at how busy this place was on a random afternoon but I guess it felt that way because it's quite small. The display was nicer than I've seen at other sprinkles and the cashier was nice. I tried the Vietnamese coffee cupcake which was new to me. However, it was wayyy too sweet. It would have been fine if it was the cake with coffee frosting on top but it also had a sweet condensed milk filling which was unnecessary and made the cupcake sway too sweet, like sickly sweet. I could only eat half of it and threw the rest away. At $5 a cupcake, totally not worth it. Went to Sprinkles for my sister's birthday and honestly left feeling shocked at how rude the experience was. The store was completely empty, so it wasn't like they were overwhelmed or busy. There were only two workers -- a young guy and girl -- and from the moment we walked in, their energy was just cold and unwelcoming. We asked about the birthday cupcake promotion (which, again, we totally understood if it wasn't available or if we needed to pre-register or whatever), but instead of simply explaining it nicely, they shut it down in a super blunt way and didn't say anything after. No "sorry about that," no "happy birthday," not even a basic smile. They literally just ignored us after we paid and stood there in silence like we were bothering them. It's one thing not to give a free cupcake -- that's not the issue. It's the complete lack of customer service, empathy, or even the smallest amount of kindness. You get a whole month to stop by, and they can now look up your account with your phone number. My two favorites are the Dark Chocolate with sprinkles, and the Chocolate Marshmallow. Ok so my family grew up watching Food Network religiously. My sister is a huge sweet tooth, so cupcake wars was a RITUAL! We fell in love with Sprinkles Cupcakes on the show, and were delighted to see their success absolutely exploded after it aired. We very rarely get cupcakes unless someone's specifically asked for them for their birthday party, so picking up eight chocolate cupcakes for a big 14th was a real treat. They have a cool setup: one shop on the left of the acai place is for ordering, the other shop on the right of the acai place is for picking up online orders specifically. This made the process SO easy. We got our cupcakes right on time and the handoff was seamless. Don't tell my mom, but the sis and I stopped by next door to get a red velvet and salted caramel...shh! The cream cheese frosting is decadent (though a TAD sweet but I'm no sweet tooth) and the cake itself is moist and airy and the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. Finally came back on 4th of Jul after salivating over my social media ads for a few months. The store is small, with a electronic ordering station, so less personal than in the past, and they had a buy-5-get-one-free promo for summer, which was nice. One favorite was the seasonal smores flavor--who would've thought that the marshmallow frosting would be so delicious! It also had a nice chocolate-y filling. The driver didn't know where he was going, didn't know where he was and could barely understand English. He hung up and then canceled the delivery. I had to call Sprinkles who wanted to charge me a second delivery charge. They ended up not charging a second delivery charge, but the delivery took over 3 1/2 hours.
