From the moment I walked in and was signing in to their kiosk a nice representative called out to me from the other side of the store to tell me not to bother signing up that she was coming over to help me right now. That was a surprise and a pleasant one at that. She was as friendly as can be even though she wasn't 100% sure of how to fix the problem I was having with my account but she at least took the issue and owned it until she was finally able to get assistance from her helpline. The problem I was having had to do with a Sim card apparently and I needed to get another one to replace it. She could've charged me the five dollar fee for that replacement but she didn't and just for five dollar unexpected savings,I was even more grateful. I know no one wants to have to go into a cell phone store for any reason really but if you do have to you should be able to feel confident that they do have employees that are cheerful and ready to help you and won't try to pass you off to some anonymous person on the phone from another country that barely understands the language.

The atrocious behavior by both the employees at this location today was appalling! It's hard enough…read moredealing with the HOURS of unnecessary delays on the phone but when you enter a store, and the employees don't smile, don't greet you, speak in a short and disrespectful tone T-Mobile can't expects it's customers to be happy and want to stay. Plus it it MY choice where I do business unless T-Mobile is paying my bill!! All the hourly employees have to do the their job without judgement and in a timely manner. Note: I did get GOOD customer service last week from an older black gentleman who understood his role. All in all, my problem hasn't been solved yet but I will be stuck by lightening before I step foot back into the Thousand Oaks T-Mobile store.

While I was there for another reason, I had to be on the phone with customer support. When I was finally ready to purchase a phone, the process became extremely stressful. The staff kept insisting that I had to use the T Life app to buy the phone and told me it was the only way to make a purchase. Since I did not have access to my phone number to authorize the login, the app locked me out. I explained the situation, but they still said that was the only option. I ended up calling my mom to get her login information just so I could move forward. Once I finally got signed in, the app was glitchy and would not even show me the phone categories. Thankfully, one of the employees took the time to help me and was able to get the app working after about five minutes. I appreciated his help and patience during an otherwise frustrating experience. Unfortunately, once the app loaded, I found out they did not have the phone I wanted in stock. I wasted so much time there and still had to go to another store. If I had known they did not have any phones available, I would have gone somewhere else in the first place. Thankfully, the other location did not force me to use the app and actually helped me in person.
