After taking my RV sprinter back to another local shop who did a repair a year prior and not only would they not stand by their work they quoted me three times the amount I originally paid. I purchased a 2019 Sprinter 4x4 144" 2500 earlier this year and Tim installed my windows: one on the sliding door, as well as two smaller ones in the rear. He also did my Agile Off-Road suspension upgrade, installed my tires & wheels, and was also able to fit me in for a couple last minute appointments to do an alignment and reset my airbag sensor. If you are considering Sprinter suspension upgrade - please read! If you are in San Diego, or not, this is the BEST SERVICE HANDS DOWN!!! Thanks to Tim, for going above and beyond for me on short notice. If not for you, and the hard work of your team installing (same day) the Van Compass 4.3 Plus, with B6, I might have been selling the Revel. I called various vendors that install both of the two common suspension upgrades. Some call this the VC 4.3 Plus -(the plus is having the Agile leaf springs. Three shops in OR told me this is their standard VC install on the Revel, 4.3 with Agile leaf springs. Tim got me in fast and was very responsive to questions. He sat me down with the physical struts and explained how it works. I Andrew and the team were informative, kind, and smiling when I asked questions. They do the alignment onsite. This is a nice time saver. Thanks for the reminder of re-torq in a few thousand miles. I have a 20201R 2020 chassis I purchased Feb of 2021. I took the easier softer way and performed my own thorough due diligence by contacting shops and Revel owners all over the country. My drive home from San Diego to Santa Monica was three hours with some fairly strong winds on the 5, when it was wide open and driving 75. I could not wipe the smile off my face. Simply NIGHT AND DAY with Van Compass 4.3 Plus. Revel handled the wind like a dream and feels solid, stable, and safe. I have it set at 2.4 on the micro-dial. I have full confidence now that 4.3 with the adjustable settings is best for me and, most importantly, I feel safer driving in strong winds. If the wind moves the van into the next lane now, I will safely remove myself from the road and wait it out. There will always be the wind that can be dangerous for high-profile vehicles. Personally, after doing research I did not do last year, I decided I wanted the convenience of having the adjustability of the 4.3 and stability. I want to add that Owl Vans in Anaheim was awesome! Like many shops right now, they did not have the B6 in stock. I am also not sure if they would install the 4.3 with Agile leaf springs, which may not be for you anyway. I kept mine because I already paid for them, and found out that many other Revel owners have the same setup. I am sure the 4.3 with mini-leaf works great and has its own advantages, but I have not driven my van with the mini-leaf springs. I did not want to spend $1000.00 to replace the Sprinter stock springs that went in the recycle bin last June. This was an expensive decision, and one I should have made sooner. read more

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE!!!! A little less than a year ago, I purchased a Sprinter from Tim at Sprinter Pitstop, and it's been an absolute lemon. Within two weeks of purchase, it went into limp mode and the check engine light was on - it was still under warranty, so I just brought it back to Tim. He told me there was nothing wrong with it and gave the car back - this happened 3 times while the car was under warranty. Finally, tired of the back-and-forth, I took it to another shop, who told me that my turbo was in fact bad, and it would be a very expensive repair. I'm absolutely certain Tim at Sprinter Pitstop knew this, as he had even told me that the check engine light was due to a boost pressure code. The car also had an oil leak, which he "couldn't figure out where it was coming from" - a dealership told me it was in fact the Rear Main Seal, which would be major surgery to fix. Tim repeatedly lied to me about the condition my car was in, such that he wouldn't have to fulfill the warranty he sold me the car under and hence lose money. I wish I had never gone here, it's led to nothing but problems. read more

Went to have a fault code on my sprinter checked out. Got super fast service, I rolled up and while I was there he hooked up the PC and showed me what the codes were and explained everything to me so even I understood. Tim is by far one of the best mechanics to deal with, I had a huge problem with my 2007 Dodge Sprinter and other shops had ripped me off telling me it was other problems just to get more money out of me but not Tim. Tim was honest with me from the start and even tried to fix the engine in a less expensive way but also told me that I may have to replace all 6 fuel injectors which would be expensive but alas Tim was with me every step of the way and kept me updated and fixed my van. LOYAL and HONEST. I have recommended Tim to a number of people and everyone has been extremely happy with their buy. I purchased a 2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500 from Tim in February. My boyfriend and I are renovating it to travel the US. When we bought it we didn't realize that the back door latches did not connect because they were bent from the previous owners. We texted Tim and he said it's not under our warranty but bring it in anyway and he will see what he can do. He fixed it for us! We are so grateful for his loyalty to his customers! After, we drove across the country (6000 miles). One day we felt a jolt and then our transmission would not shift out of first gear. We brought it to the nearest Aamco and they quoted us $850 for the fix. Realizing we were still under warranty (10k miles for power train), I texted Tim a picture of the quote and explained what happened. WITHIN MINUTES, he agreed to what aamco diagnostic was and shipped out all the parts were needed to fix our transmission. He also told us that Aamco was over charging us a lot! So we decided to go elsewhere for the labor. If we were in San Diego at his shop he would have done the labor too! Tim was helpful and communicative, and his prices are good, especially for an oil change. In fact Tim did a few extra servicing for free which I appreciated. However, he also suggested I do a forced regeneration for $100 because the DPF was at 80%. Not knowing any better, I said OK. Not really sure that was necessary, I asked Nick, service manager at the Mercedes Sprinter service department. Nick confirmed what I thought: the van always goes through an automatic regeneration when the DPF amount gets too high. It seems my Sprinter's DPF just happened to be at 80% when I brought it in, and it would have done a regeneration soon, so the $100 forced regeneration was unnecessary. read more

Me and my wife bought an '06 T1n from Tim and convertered it a year ago and it has been a super reliable vehicle and home for us over the last 11 months. As first time sprinter buyers we were nervous about spending so much money on a vehicle but Tim's professionalism and honesty, along with the excellent 45 day warranty, reassured us that we made the right decision.
