I will never bring my van anywhere else! Tim and Andrew are more skilled, honest, and reliable than the local dealers. Here's my story: My sliding door locks stopped working. I live in Carlsbad, so I first took it to the Carlsbad Mercedes dealer for repair. They greased the locks and charged me $70... The door worked for a day. They took it back to diagnose and after 5 days of waiting, they gave me an estimate of $970 for new cables and locks. They told me that the cables were all worn and needed to be replaced. The cables looked new to me, so I got a second opinion and dropped of the van at the Sprinter Pitstop... The next day, Tim called to tell me the door works and that it was simply misaligned. Cables and locks are fine. How much did he charge me??? $150! Simple math here: That's $820 less than the dealer, who did not properly diagnose the issue and lied about my cables. It's tough to find a good mechanic, especially for sprinter vans. The local dealers don't deal with many of these and it has been actually recommended by Carlsbad Mercedes to bring your Sprinter Vans to the Temecula Mercedes Sprinter Service Center since they are specially trained for Sprinter work. Why do that when we have a professionally trained small business owner that knows these vans inside and out and is actually honest, fast, and affordable? !!!!!! We were having troubles with our alternator not charging our batteries properly. We swapped alternators out, got a new battery, disconnected and reconnected everything, visited multiple sprinter specialists with no luck at all finding the problem. Finally we found Sprinter Pitstop and saw all the good reviews. We rolled in with no appointment and were welcomed with friendly smiles! Tim told us to come back first thing the next day and that he assured results! We liked his confidence and sure enough he and his team had us back on the road running perfectly within a few hours. They diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it even faster. We live in our van full time and it is a part of our work to have it moving and hosting events so we were truly grateful for such professional, fast, knowledgeable service. I have a shimmy that no one seems to be able to resolve. I have had my 7800 mile sprinter in to discount tires of imperial beach for new tires and balance (during which they scratched one of my aluminum wheels). I have had it to mercedes of san diego for balance and service. After spending a stupid amount of money I decided to try Tim. Bless you Tim. You spent a lot of time with multiple trips for balance and rebalance and alignment. Added camber bolts and balanced again. Finally, after an entire day of work on my sprinter, it is perfect. It was determined to be a bad tire (new michelin) that they were able to get to 95% by spinning on the rim 180 degrees. I've ordered a new tire from discount to replace it even though it works well. Tim indicated it took more weight than he liked to clean up the issue. Could not be happier. Everyone has strong accents so if you're an old guy like me make sure to wear your hearing aids. CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! Tim and his team are the only ones i go to when it comes to my 2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500. I don't even go to the Dodge dealership because they can do ANYTHING you need for your Sprinter. I'm very particular who works on my Sprinter mainly because i live in it and it needs the best care and attention. I go to them for my engine maintenance including inspecting and changing all fluids when it needs it. When i bought my van i went to Sprinter Pitstop and Tim was nice and able to do a van inspection on the spot and informed me of some rust issues that needed attention and was able to schedule me the following week to fix them. On that same appointment he was able to replace a cracked windshield and install a Fan-tastic Vent. I am amazed at all the hard work Tim has put into my van with such a quick turn around and good prices that i am a customer for life! read more

Hands down, this has been the best service I've received from a mechanic for sprinter work, or otherwise. If you need any kind of sprinter work done, bring it to Sprinter Pitstop. I brought my 2008 dodge sprinter to him to do some maintenance before a big trip: my brakes and rotors were super rusted, had some leaking hoses in the turbo system, and there were a few other things. Tim did a great job, and got it finished for me the same day. I will definitely be coming back. Hey, just wanted to drop a quick review. I recently faced an issue with my car. The error light on the dashboard indicated a problem with the brake pads. Upon calling the Mercedes center, I was quoted $890. Seeking a second opinion, I contacted a nearby car repair shop, and their quote was $575 for both parts and labor. So, with that in mind, I decided to give them a chance and drove over to that place to get my car repaired. It took them a couple of hours to complete the whole job. Having some serious engine issues I tried 3 Sprinter shops in LA but ultimately had my sprinter towed from LA to the Sprinter Pitstop, and I am so glad I did! Tim and his team pulled my engine apart and tested every piece! He is a perfectionist, and super professional and treats the service he provides as if it were being done on his own vehicle. Tim is honest, knowledgeable, and has a high level of integrity. I went for a transmission leak on my 2004 Sprinter RV and Tim and his crew quickly fixed the problem at a fair price. While I waited, we had a number of discussions and it became clear very quickly that he knows these vans thoroughly, and can very quickly diagnose any issue you might have. While there he checked the rest of the van, topped off fluids, checked OBD for any faults, and discussed some body work we are interested in having done as well. Tim at Sprinter Pitstop is incredibly knowledgeable about Sprinters. He is honest and trustworthy. I bought a used 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter from him at a great price and it included a 10,000 mile warranty on the engine and transmission.
