Sprout Kitchen is so good we had to bring a friend. In a previous review I had misidentified some personnel, but the teamwork there is all good. All the staff act as if they have a personal vested interest in the business. They wipe down and sanitized the table next to ours after that patron left. This place is clean. Today I opted for the Roasted Yam and Tofu Bowl. The flavors in this dish are so varied and pronounced that every bite is just a bit different than the next. The tomatoes are herbed perfectly and have a well made pistou on top. The zucchini is freshly firm and, are those pieces of asparagus? The sauce has that fantastic mild level of heat that rests towards the front of the palate. Trying to identify this blend of flavors is very challenging and tasty. It all comes together very well. This food is a good drug! I want more. This time I had the PB Banana Chocolate smoothie which is very creamy yet grainy from the chocolate nibs. Delicious crunchy bits coming up through the straw. The peanut butter and banana go together perfectly. I don't mind eating healthy, but please, just make it taste good. Sprout Kitchen nailed it I would have licked my plate, but there are other people here. I'm looking forward to the Atlas Bowl on my next visit. read more

Fresh, organic food served by a staff with a passion for great food. From the Mahi Mahi, to the Salmon to the Yumfo to the Chicken wrap, you just can't go wrong here. Establishment is spotless and very welcoming. Even better yet, given people's hectic lifestyles today, the freezers in the front are stocked with MANY healthy dishes that one can take home and heat up in minutes. Great new choices for dining options continue to arrive in Eugene. Sprouts is a terrific place to grab a yummy and healthy lunch or dinner. They also have a great choice of frozen dinners to take home that pop out of the microwave in five minutes and are remarkably terrific. I loved the Asian pork and also the salmon and NW beans. My friend & I tried Sprout Kitchen for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised! My friend had the KimiTurkey sandwich and said the homemade focaccia was very fresh and thickly sliced. The turkey was very tasty not dry. The sandwich flavors were good and not overwhelming. Kimchi was subtle. I had the Steak Sandwich (which they were nice to accommodate me & added Kimchi). Very nice flavors, not overpowering the steak. The kimchi was pleasant not spicy. I also had the tropical smoothie (which is no longer on the menu sadly). It was delicious! Stopped by a few days ago while visiting my hometown of Eugene. I got the salmon kimchi dish and a chocolate themed smoothie. Both were excellent. The salmon dish was one of the best meals I've had in recent memory; full of flavor, fresh, and loved the combo of items. This place is like healthy fine dining with a contemporary minimalist aesthetic. Service was very friendly and sincere. I would eat here regularly if I lived nearby. Come check them out! read more

Feeling healthy and well-fed. I had the opportunity to sample (with family), a few of Sprout Kitchen's dishes over a few days - the frozen meals. I loved the seasoning of salmon and potatoes- kimchi a bit spicy for my delicate palate. The MahiMahi was good, and its roasted eggplant- garbanzo bean with garlic side was exquisite. I could eat a bowl of just that. The Asian Chili Pork- again, the ginger black beans and bokchoy- loved it. The chili sauce- a bit too much heat for me. I love the flavor of these sides! The Roasted Steak Bowl- fantastic- tender beef, crisp asparagus even after frozen, lovely sauce. Enough moisture to glaze meat and kiss the mushrooms and potatoes just right. Overall favorite dish, but loved the salmon next and the eggplant/garbanzo/garlic side. There is a lot to like here. Want to go back to try Tex-Mex bowl and Greek chicken salad. 5 stars for quality take home meals read more

I'm very impressed with this place and the quality of their dishes. We haven't tried dining in, but since I broke my ankle and tore the other, we decided to give their take-away prepared meals a try. My husband needed help with all the household responsibilities, and boy did we fall upon a gem with these meals! I was gettting so tired of take-out, but this is levels above! It's like little gourmet, freshly-cooked meals that are flash frozen and easy to heat-up! We've tried the chicken with Mexican rice, the wild-caught salmon with NW beans, and the skirt steak. I've loved all of them. They are expertly seasoned and not over-salted, which I really appreciate. You can always add salt to your liking, but it's very difficult to unsalted a dish, if you know what I mean. The average meal costs $13.50, which is very reasonable compared to other places in town that hover around $16-20 for greasy food. It's ironic, but before my accident, we did pass by this storefront on many occasions. We weren't sure what this place was, and the decor didn't immediately call to us. However, my former boss knows the owner and vouched for his culinary skills. We are sooo glad we gave them a try! The woman who works there (Rachel) is very sweet and made ordering super easy. Please try this place if you enjoy gourmet, well-thought out, healthy cuisine. This is not your greasy spoon. You won't be disappointed. read more

I decided to try Sprout Kitchen since it is a new restaurant that I haven't tried. Because I am vegan I was a little disappointed that there were only two options. What I did have was excellent and I am hoping for more choices the next time that I stop by. I got takeout of the chicken enchiladas and the pumpkin enchiladas. My husband is very picky but he really liked the chicken enchiladas. I had the pumpkin and found it a little spicy and delicious. The portion sizes are generous and the dishes also included a flavored rice. read more
