The Yumm sauce that I used to love was too salty, there was a disproportionate amount of tomatoes (to all other ingredients) and I really can't believe how bad a bowl of mostly rice and beans can suck. Btw, my bowl was handed to me by a manager, so there's realty no acceptable excuse. Eating outside of my house has become so annoyingly lame. I used to review places all the time because they were good and I enjoyed sharing good food. I'd do little else if I wrote about all the expensive, bad food at restaurants post-pandemic.

Sauce. It was love at first bite. There is definitely some spicy heat in this bowl, but it's the kind that invigorates your taste buds and makes you crave the next bite. It's a really nice mix of ingredients, both taste and texture-wise. The avocado combined with the Korean flavors really works well. The crunch from the wonton strips was appreciated. I'm not sure if it is a limited menu item or not, so don't delay in giving it a shot! I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit.

We were greeted promptly by a tall gentleman, who I believe may have been the manager. He welcomed us, let us choose our own table, and took our drink order right away. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. After waiting about 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our food order, we finally had to ask the busser to find someone to help us. The restaurant wasn't busy, with only about three other occupied tables. During that time, both the manager/host and our waitress were sitting together at a table on the opposite side of the restaurant. I do want to recognize the busser, who was the one employee consistently hard at work throughout our visit. He was attentive, busy clearing tables, and ultimately the person who made sure we received service. Once our waitress came over, she was friendly and took our order, but we never saw her again for the rest of the meal. There were no check-ins, no drink refills, and no effort to see how everything was. The food was beautifully presented, but unfortunately it lacked flavor and was already slightly cold by the time it reached our table. To top it off, when we paid our bill, no one asked how our meal was or whether everything had been satisfactory. It felt like there was no interest in the overall guest experience. Overall, the service and food did not meet expectations, especially with how quiet the restaurant was. Sadly, this wasn't an experience worth repeating, and we won't be returning.
