Solid café! Pastries are good, and the breakfast sandwich was tasty. Coffee tastes good as well. Lots of outdoor seating in the shade, and the staff are friendly. Great for working on something or catching up with a friend.

Delicious gluten-free options that are sent to some local Denver coffee shops I get to get mine at the kaladis in Englewood. The treats are always well packaged and taste extremely fresh.

I'm now a customer for life! Not only is their customer service phenomenal, but their baked goods are amazing. Every other bakery in town scoffed when trying to order a graduation cake 3 weeks in advance (I admit, I should have planned out further) but Spruce was happy to make it in a pinch. The carrot cake is to die for, and the piping was beautiful. Best bakery in Boulder!

We stumbled upon this spot during a trip to Boulder and loved the unique pastries as well as the delicious espresso drinks. While crowded inside, the ambience of the outside patio in the summertime can't be beat!

Love this bakery/coffee shop! Great variety of pastries. Perfect place to enjoy a snack on Pearl st. Friendly staff too!

Happened by this sweet spot after a hike in Boulder. The chocolate croissants were so tasty!! The barista offered to heat them up, and that made it even better. They had a lovely patio that we were able to sit out on and enjoy our pastries. I highly recommend! It was so fun to see locals from the neighborhood walking in with their reusable mugs for their daily coffee. The smell of expresso inside was delightful!

    Cuban Panini

I needed to get a quick lunch nearby so I stopped by this shop for something to eat. I grabbed a Cuban Panini ($7.25) from the fridge section and handed it to them to heat it up for me. I did appreciate that this is something that they do, since I didn't have access to a toaster or microwave or anything. The panini was quite small considering it was almost $8...It really only took me about 8 bites to finish the whole thing, only to be hungry again in a few hours. The first time I got my toasted panini it was burnt to the point that it was black. Service was okay, not the friendliest but not necessarily rude either. I really only liked coming here because it was fast and convenient for the location that I was at at the time.

This was a great place after a trail run! The scones were absolutely phenomenal. We had the cheese and shallot and the vanilla bean scone. Both hit the spot, especially when paired with a dirty chai. The service was great and every member of staff we interacted with was positive! There was also a decent amount of space for seating.

Unfriendly baristas, cold pastries, and extremely limited seating if the weather isn't nice.

We had to wait about 20 mins without a reservation on a weekday - im guessing weekends are busier. The menu is influenced from countries along the silk route and has a dish from various different countries. We tried the swedish svamptoast, malaysian sambal curry, indonesian peanut noodle, choo chee salmon. Everything was flavorful, a little spicy, good quantities and the value for money was also great - each dish was $20-$23 range which is great for such an ambience. We also tried their chai - which was lightly spiced and one of the black teas (pineapple chilli) - and these were delicious too! We had kids with us and they were super friendly and nice towards them and accommodating to menu changes based on preferences. Overall - highly recommend this place!

We were surprised to find it very crowded at 4pm when we visited. There's a small area at the front of the restaurant and a lot of folks were gathered there waiting for their tables. It took several minutes before the hostess checked us in and let us know it would be a few minute wait. A bit later we were guided to our seats. I appreciated that they took trouble to make it feel like a special experience - with white tablecloths, decor and the cutlery. They seemed a bit short staffed that day so our server was helping out many tables. He was very helpful in explaining the menu, though we did have to ask specifically to receive the full tea menu. We decided on a few teas to share - a spiced white chocolate white tea, rooibos chai, and a hibiscus cooler (iced and non-caffeinated). The spiced white chocolate was fantastic. I wasn't as much of a fan of the rooibos but if you like less sweet teas this is a good choice. The hibiscus cooler was delicious and refreshing, and I liked that they let us take it to go! Our amuse bouche came out first - a delicious pumpkin seed savory small soup and it was fantastic. We eagerly awaited our tea tower - and it certainly did not disappoint! We are still thinking about the delicious spinach and artichoke pinwheel with olive tapenade - it was our absolute favorite. The savory sandwiches were also delicious. We especially enjoyed the clotted cream and lemon curd with the scone, and the desserts were delectable. We were stuffed by the end of our teatime! Our server was very helpful and despite it being very busy, we felt taken care of. I think this is a very worthwhile experience - the tea, sweets, and savories are all delicious and definitely worth checking out!
