Veggie sandwich without bun, dairy free with fries and vodka and cranberry juice!

Date night out, plus we had a gift card!! So I started with a flight!! Blonde Ale was definitely my favorite!! I had a pint of it last time I came!! Always save the Nitro for last, it's a nice "dessert"! My husband had the Athletic, non alcoholic IPA. I had the Squatters Club on rye with a side salad and blue cheese dressing, absolutely phenomenal!! My husband was disappointed because he wanted a pizza, but their oven was broken. He went for the Greek salad instead, which worked for me cause I got his banana peppers and Kalamata olives!! Despite his mishap, I thought service was great!! Especially on a busy Saturday night!

What used to be Wasatch Brewing has been rebranded to Corner Brew Pub. The draw to this Americana pub and restaurant is its charming corner location in the bustling heart of Sugar House. It offers prime people-watching views from the patio, and a lively atmosphere inside. I ordered the Cobb salad and thought it pretty much hit all the marks as far as a Cobb is concerned. The lettuce was crisp and fresh and I enjoyed the blue cheese dressing's chunkiness. My friends opted for the ABCLT sandwich, which came on ciabatta with a side of tots or fries. The tots were the star of the dish in my opinion! Our service was quick and they even let us move tables since it was chillier outside than we expected.

Italian sandwich, fries, beer.

First time in Utah. First time at Wasatch Brew Pub. I went with their Italian sandwich on focaccia bread, side of fries, and their rotating IPA. Sandwich was pretty average. Fries were great. Beer was cold and tasty. Very nice place though, loved the vibes inside. Bartender was nice as well. Would recommend if you're in the area.

The brunch menu on Sundays looks pretty good. Also can't go wrong with four dollar bloody Mary's and four dollar mimosas. However... The food is pretty mid range. I took a risk and ordered the "Ahi tuna spring roll salad" do not be misguided: only order the burgers. It is a pub after all.

3/5 Stars I visited Wasatch Pub and Brew recently and had a mixed experience. The food was good, not great, and the drinks were decent, though quite pricey for the small portions served in tiny martini glasses. What really soured the experience was the service. While the server was friendly at first, she constantly interrupted our conversation, which got a bit frustrating. To top it off, when we were leaving, she chased me down because she felt her tip wasn't high enough--even after we bought merchandise from their store. It felt tacky and rude, and probably enough for me not to return. Lydia be better your customers deserve it

The food was good. Our server was nice and friendly. Great location, good ambiance Will be back again.

Whenever I am in SLC, this is a must. Let's begin with the fact their lead beer mocks the history of Joseph Smith and the Mormons. As a neverMo, that is where they had me. Oh Sugarhouse, keep it up! Set into spunky SugarHouse, Wasatch offers a wide array of beers. My favorite are the west coast or New England style IPAs. The food is good too, I opt for a salad when I go and always have lunch for the next day. The staff are friendly. I love the lounge style seats downstairs between the bar and tables. It's a cozy environment and even has free Wi-Fi. Indoor and outdoor seating available. See website for more details. It's usually busy, so plan ahead. There is also a location at the airport.

Came back to this place again and tried the French dip, which was really good, and the steak sandwich. It was ok, not bad.

The Wasatch Brew Pub in Sugar House was delicious. I got the Ute burger that had a queso cheese and it was awesome! I also got the sidewinder fries, but next time we'll get tater tots. We ate there in the winter, but this place looks like it would be fun to dine at in the summer with their outdoor seating. There is a parking lot below the restaurant that they will validate for. We ate at the Wasatch Brew Pub at the airport and I really disliked it so I was hesitant to come here but this place is really good.

Wasatch Brew Pub is the quintessential pub in Salt Lake. I've been many times now as I live in Sugarhouse, but it certainly never fails. This visit, we were seated on the patio for perfect Sept/Oct fall weather. Our server was great and checked in on us seemingly right when we needed him. For food, we shared the spinach and artichoke dip and the calamari, and both exceeded my expectations. For my main, I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich which perfectly met my expectations of an above-average brew pub. I also ordered two beers, the Swede Ally nitro stout and the Coalition Hellfire chili pepper ale which, to be honest, disappointed my beer-loving palette, but the experience was still great all around. I'll be back here every couple months when I don't want to make steak sandwiches at home or am just looking for a relaxing time for good food and drinks.

Poke bowl

Food: Poke bowl tastes great, but too small. It is smaller than a regular poke bowl you would get at a poke place. Parking: free underground parking. Parking entrance on the east side of the building. Environment: decent place for company get together. Loud but not too loud. Service is great.

Tony W.

Have a lovely time here having dinner. FYI there's parking around the corner. That's free underground. As long as you get validated from your server. Drinks were good. Food was great. Atmosphere was fun would come back.

This place is excellent! I just wish I lived closer to it. It's usually crowded but that's always a good sign of a good place. I think bar and pub food is always good. The food is filling and delicious. The fish and chips are awesome. I recommend the Bavarian pretzel and the elote tots which is tater tots and they come with a bunch of delicious dipping sauces.

After getting my last beer and finding a seat in the back, the shy bartender somehow found his courage to engage and serve other folks, so I naturally took it personally. The ambiance was nice in that it felt like an authentic brewery, not a restaurant that serves beer like some establishments closer to downtown. On a Tuesday, tacosdaddyfoodtruckslc was on the scene serving a brilliant smothered burrito, albeit a bit heavy on rice but still amazing. When I asked a bartender to compare and contrasts two beers, they did so lifelessly and unconvincingly without asking me first what I preferred. It reinforced my perception that the establishment is either low on customer service or selective in the welcoming of guests. I was the oldest person in the brewery at the time and I hope that had nothing to do with it. I was also concerned with their lack of descriptions on their brews, only presenting a name on a wall. A serious and reputable brewer will attempt to communicate their beer to aficionados and this lack of information made me question their commitment to the craft. These are all management issues and given that these deficiencies were outwardly obvious, it makes me wonder what other issues I would find with a little more time here. That said, I was here once and that's enough. Edit: I read the rest of the reviews and I am so happy to learn that their bad customer service, including ignoring customers, is legendary. I got suckered in by the high rating, while failing to read the one- and two-star reviews. I went to another brewery in the area yesterday and am off to have another there (cutting my time here short). I wish this place were better.

We visited at least two, during our four days in SLC. This one was the first: a cathedral-style brewpub with a sports bar aesthetic, with decent food, decent drinks, decent service, and decent prices. Everything was decent. You're not likely to be disappointed by anything you order, but you're not likely to be blown away by anything, either (another thing Squatters has in common with McMenamins, I'd say). During our second visit (to another location, but I'm sure the same rule applies), our party was only interested in ordering drinks (one per person, mind you), but we were informed that we *had* to order some sort of food to accompany them (I'm sure this is more of a Utah thing, rather than a Squatter's thing, but still annoying), so bear that in mind if you're looking for a place to just chill with a beverage and watch a game. Still, the vibe here is lively and friendly; assuming your server is as well, which was a coin flip, in our experience. For a fast, casual chain of brewpubs, Squatters has a lot going for it, and I can see why they are popular, as clearly as I can see ways in which they can improve. A little more focus, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, and Squatters could absolutely dominate in SLC, and beyond.

Ordering was kind of confusing because you had to wait in line instead of just walking up to the bar. One of the bartenders quickly explained it to us so we got in line. The line moved very quickly. Once we ordered our first beers, we sat at the bar and our bartender then took the rest of our orders while seated there. It seemed like once you ordered and established your seats, you could get waited on at your table but you had to order through the line first. There were 3 or 4 bartenders covering the bar and all the various seating areas. Our bartender was very attentive and we never had empty glasses before she was asking if we wanted another round. There was one time where she got side tracked and there was a very slight delay in bringing the next round for my wife and she profusely apologized and comped that round, but we didn't even notice the delay, to be honest. All the beers were great and the handmade pretzel from a place down the street was delicious. The tasting notes on their menu were spot on for the 5 or 6 beers we tried. They have a lot of seating in the main area and large patio in the back that were both pretty crowded, which is why we sat at the bar. We later found out about their "barrel room" that is in the back behind all the brewing equipment. One of the bar backs said it was a more laidback and quiet area. We peaked back there before we left and had we known about it, we would have sat back there because it's exactly like how it was described. Even with the large crowd we had a great time and it never seemed crowded with the speed of service we got.

The german beers here are one of the best and phenomenal. I can't get enough. The IPA is here are solid as well. Great vibes has TV with sports and a lot of seating and outdoors as well. The only issue I have unfortunately at this visit was I was trying to grab a glass to take home with me. However, there was a huge line for people to get carded so the front desk guy wanted to card them in first. That was understandable as that created a huge line and backed up the front door. However, someone came behind me with cans so he let them pay first and by the time they finish paying, more people were coming in to get carded. He decided to card them instead of letting me purchase a glass . So at that time I had just left instead of waiting for the continuous cycle of getting carded I'm having to further wait. Hopefully when things are busy, they will have someone to help out carting people in. Otherwise fantastic brewery.

I had high hopes for locally brewed beer and Asian cuisine, but nothing really hit the mark. Beer was okay. Lukewarm, and decidedly not crispy nor refreshing. Our group was three and we tried a lot of the food on the menu and nothing really hit. The pickled cucumbers were good. The dumplings (which we were told by our server are handmade) were genuinely flavorless and the wrapper was way too thick and chewy. We tried the pork buns as well, same issue, a serious lack of flavor and seasoning. Pork belly entree was middling, just a flavor profile that didn't work. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was fried crispy but the sauce and toppings were unmemorable and lacked any kind of punch or umami to speak of. It came with a side of food service fries, which were crispy but served with plain old ketchup. Oh by the way everything is expensive. Starters were $15+ and most entrees, including noodle soups were $20+ which is crazy. Cocktails were $18 and no wine pour less than $16. The only thing cheap is the beer which makes sense because it was mediocre at best. Server brought the check, said "no rush" and then we waited while he sat three tables, brought drinks for three tables and took two food orders. After 15 minutes I took the bill to the till and had him run it in front of me. I still tipped because I'm not that person. Not going back, there's better beer and Asian food elsewhere.
