Parking: Dirt, unpaved parking lot. But there was plenty of parking. Service: The people there were nice. They were pretty quick and hospitable when ordering and when I received my order. Food: Here is why I came. They had huge portions (3 feet burrito) but I ordered the next size down since I thought getting in the courthouse was going to be a pain. The food was pretty good. I ordered an asada supreme burrito and it was huge for sure but was not happy with the taste especially for the price, $18 and to not be satisfied. I didn't even finish it got half way and just through it away cause I was so mad. Where do I start? My coworkers and i decided to buy a three foot long carne asada burrito. First of all, I think the burrito is too over priced. The quality of the burrito is fair. I had greater expectations. I put their red salsa on my portion of burrito. When I took my first bite, I came to realize that the salsa was expired. Please make sure that your salsa is made daily, and always kept fresh. I will give them another chance to redeem themselves. I will be ordering something different. Sounded like one of those good hole in the walls that's a step above, but definitely not. Ordered two shrimp tacos and man were they swimming in oil. They could have been really tasty: plenty of shrimp & cheese, but why oh why ruin it? I wiped & tried to soak up as much as possible but every bite tasted & felt like a spoonful of oil. Right now my stomach is blah & my mouth has a coating on it, and I only ate part of my meal. I had to throw half of it away, and you could just see the pool (not puddle - pool!) of oil left on my plate. I love greasy, cheesy tacos, but this was not that. Yuck. I ordered the 36" Soul Man Burrito and had them cut it in to three foot long sections. When they bring it out it looks like you ordered an aluminum foil wrapped boa constrictor. You can't order this rascal and sit at the small tables, you have to sit at the big bench. The standard SMB comes with carne asada, hot links, and pastrami; includes onion, beans, rice, salsa, etc. The good news is that the meats are delicious and really blend in well with the other fixings. The only bad news is that one person is never going to be able to the entire 36". Reccomend you order that as a "party" burrito; next time I'll get the 12". read more

Well, the burritos come in different sizes from large to humongous. At 36" the cliff hanger means serious business. There was only person in line in front of me and I ordered the cliff hanger burrito without sour cream. The first waitress at the window didn't speak English very well but the other one was very helpful. It took a while for them to make it and at the very end (after they had already wrapped it) she realized that she had put sour cream in it. So, she made another one for me. The second one was slightly larger than the first. I drove it home and when I carried it through the door, my parents and my brother were very impressed by its size. Came here for the first time after a meeting I had in the area. This place is your typical ma and pa shop - great food, great proportions, great service, and friendly loyal customers. I ordered a carneasada burrito with addition of cheese inside. And oh boy - did they add cheese. They were so generous I thought I was eating a quesorito. It was stewed/shredded chicken which I prefer over pollo asado in burritos/tacos. Very moist and tender. Salsa was pretty good. They have pretty reasonable prices for most items. First things first. I LOVE CLIFFS. I work down the street so I visit often Monday-Friday. On Saturday I was craving so I decided to take the trip.... unfortunately it was like night & day. From the customer service to the quality of the food. I asked what was on the carne asada fries and the cashier(Kea) said "everything" in a sarcastic voice. I was really asking due to allergies.... she then listed all that was on them like I was bugging her and to be honest the food wasn't as good as it is during the week. It's unfortunate because I love to support black businesses, but it be your own people making the business have a bad rep! Soooo I'll only be there Monday- Friday. The crew during the week is awesome and attentive! So that's why y'all got 5 Update : I went to cliffs today on 8/24/18 at 12:30 on my lunch break to receive my complimentary meal, and was told "oh I ain't never seen that before" when I tried to show the owners response that clearly states that I receive a complementary meal. The employee wouldn't even look at my phone. So unfortunately I had to pay for trash service again. It defeats the purpose for the owner to say "show response" and the workers won't even look.... I went on to say "I have money it's not a big deal" and proceeded to pay for my meal. Try out their steak super nachos, you'll luv it. They serve 3 foot burritos over Here, and their chicken salad is off the chain. Cliff's is awesome. Good Food, filling portion, cheap prices. When I worked in Compton my coworker and I used to share his 7 tacos for $5 deals and those always made us full. I got their $5 Burger Combo which came with fries and a drink and it was awesome. The burger was as big as my face. I don't work in Compton anymore, so I don't get to venture out to the area to eat the awesomely bad for your health food.
