You walk inside this hole in the wall and you see posters of classic rock figures such as Kiss, Mana, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The doors and even the popular El Chavo Del Ocho. The service is excellent, the duo there work at a fast pace during the busy lunch hour to get your order ready. I got the torta Cubana which was loaded with milanesa, cheese, weenie, egg, onion, chorizo, ham, lettuce, tomato, in between a big bolio sourced from a local bakery. You this sandwich is massive and you need a partner to help you finish it. It comes with Weiney, homemade chorizo, pork (piernita), breaded steak (milanesa), head chese (queso de puerco), ham, american cheese, 2 scrambled eggs, and mozzarella cheese. Love this place. I'm here at like once every other week. The food is amazing. Good portion sizes, and the variety cannot be beaten. California burritos and Hub burritos are so good. The tortas are huge! All the food is fresh and housemade. It's an amazingly well put together menu, as there is seafood, Mexican meats, and sauces really well paired together. The place is the right size. Plenty of space to comfortably eat inside. I easily bring 2-3 people pretty often and there is never complaints about being able to find a place to sit. Occasionally they put on shows and that's such a great time. They really build up the community by giving a place for bands to play. It's a smaller venue but the experience is unmatched. I don't know if they notice, but these people dish out rotten or spoiled food at times. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and the beans were definitely spoiled already. I ordered a asada taco and the meat was definitely rotten I think they keep the food in the silver containers and leave it at room temperature overnight instead of putting it away in the fridge. Came to this place to eat and I was disappointed. They have a picture on the wall showing them on the LA times with 5 stars which is really deceiving. I order a Torta with pulled pork, beans, egg, chorizo and cheese the torta was horrible. This is an easy location to get to as it's right before the street light of mayo Ave where you are driving west on Rosecrans Avenue. I believe it's across from a school. This is the WORST food I have ever tried using the Yelp app. The tables were FILTHY. I have never been to a restaurant no matter how big or small the restaurant may be that I could literally see the dirtiness on a white napkin so excessively like I did just now. My family and I had asada fries and the wet burrito with chips and salsa. Let me tell y'all that it was disgusting. To begin, the salsa they have is very bland, no salt or any flavor like green salsa can be. The asada fries "guacamole" is not really guac its more of a pico de gallo with pieces of avocado. The carne asada and had no flavor and the meat was dry. My daughter and I didn't finish our fries. The wet burrito was cover in the bland green salsa so my wife took a couple of bites and for rid of the rest. I would never order from this place again. Their name on grubhub is Breakfast Spot. I order 3 burritos this morning. The egg & cheese burrito did not have the avocado inside nor did the Turkey burrito. The Turkey burrito say deli slices inside but you couldn't taste the meat because it was so thin and had about 4 pieces inside them dry ass burritos. No side Salsa was included to help with the dryness. They use the large shells and trust me that's really all you get is a lot of shell without the correct amount of food rations. I don't live that close to Compton. I had time one day, so I decided to venture out to Compton to try this place out. I ended up getting a surf and turf burrito and Carne asada fries. The burrito overall wasn't that tasty. The shrimp didn't taste that good. The steak was ok but not that great. Also the tortilla was mushy I am thinking because it was refrigerated to preserve it longer. Now for the Carne asada fries, it wasn't that good either. The fries were a little bit undercooked. They were still a little soft. The taste was just ok. Overall, this place is ok but since I don't live that close, I probably won't be back.
