I had my Honda Civic sedan si 2009 wheel alignment because I've got my lower control arm replaced so I came here . The guy in the morning was helpful and understandable what I wanted to get done. Once I came back for my car he explain everything that was done and he also recommended me to replace some parts that I also like as well. No wait, however, like the other places rated highly in Yelp. i called 3 other places before coming here. My car was old so required use of different smog test equipment which wasn't operational at the other places. Glad it worked out this way because I have 4 cars and will be coming here in the future. This place is AMAZING! I needed a STAR Smog ASAP!!! I messaged to get a quote and not only did I get a quote quickly and not have to make an appointment but when I got there the next day, they remembered me via my quote (super awesome)! I went on a Friday after work (11/30/18). I so appreciate that they have later hours (past 5pm). They were quick to greet me, they finished up with the customer a head of me, and attended to me VERY quickly. It took them 10/15 minutes TOPS! AND with the Yelp check-in, I did indeed receive my smog discount for my 2005 vehicle (2000 or newer folks- it is stated there). This was a life-saver as I didn't pay attention to the fact that I needed one to renew my registration which was due in the next few days! They completed the work, gave me a copy of the report (besides submitting it via the proper channels direct to the DMV), and I was on my way! Saturday morning I was able to get my registration renewal without problem or delay because of them! I am so thankful! I look forward to letting people know about them and using them again the next time I need a SMOG check. OH, and let me add that complimentary beverage, AMAZING! I visited Star Smog for my car wheel alignment. The store manager/specialist Liu is very friendly and welcoming. They have a state of art precision wheel alignment equipment. The shop has a computer based machine which is a product of HUNTER Engineering Company. In my case ,the frontal Camber was out of balance and the expert showed me and explained what the issue was about. And he ordered the shims to get the camber back to its balanced position. That adds extra price for the alignment process. Tip : There is a beverage refrigerator that you can have some bottle-water and soda while your car's getting examined. read more

I was referred to Star Smog & Alignment Haus from America's Tire at the Long Beach Towne center to get new brakes. Star smog is about 5 minutes away close to Norwalk Ave. When I got there, I talked to Binh who was very friendly, told him I need new brakes. Filled out some information, he was able to take me right away on a Saturday afternoon. They also were barbequeing so I ended up eating a hot dog, which is awesome because I didn't have to walk anywhere to get some food. There's also complimentary water & coke. My estimated cost for replacing rotors and brake pads came out to $237. I believe pricing could be typically around $300-$500. Not only do they have awesome customer service, they are cool as chill and genuinely wanting to help you, they seem to have cheaper pricing than other places.
