I have an e46 M3 that's unable to complete a drive cycle so I can't smog my car unless it's ready. BMW and Porche owners know how complicated this drive cycle is, you can follow everything to the T based on the manufacturer's guidelines but some cars never complete the drive cycle. I drove my car for hundreds of miles...yet that cycle was never completed. I have gone to a BMW dealership as well as 2 other BMW mechanic shops requesting help to complete this drive cycle. The BMW dealership quoted me an outrageous price for basic diagnostic and they don't even do the drive cycle for you! The other mechanic shops told me it's a hit or miss with these drive cycles and some M3s drive for thousands of miles and never complete successfully. A friend of mine referred me to Star Smog & Alignment Haus and I met with Binh and Kuo. I told them my long story and issue with getting my car to pass smog and felt like this was a last resort. Binh quickly diagnosed my car and provided detailed tips as well as driving routes for me to complete the drive cycle. After about an hour of driving...it finally completed!! I was finally able to smog my car and passed! These guys here have gone above and BEYOND to help me smog my car. I also got my alignment done here and they were extremely meticulous with dialing in my toe and camber within factory specs. I felt like the service, knowledge and help they provided were several times what they charged me (compare to these other shops)! It's about a 30-40 minute drive to this shop but they have earned my business for life (it's hard finding good shops nowadays). My friend with a G37 already set an appointment with them for an alignment after my reviews! LOL One really cool thing...this is the ONLY smog & alignment shop I've been to that offers free complimentary drinks to their customers. They might be a small business but they truly value their customer's experience more than these bigger shops. read more

Kuo and Binh are great. I called right when they opened and Kuo told me to come around 11. Showed up and Kuo asked me what specs I wanted since I just added some new lower control arms to fix my camber in the rear. He got to work right away. Binh arrived a bit after Ko finished and took the car on a test drive to make sure it drove straight. Comes back and saw the wheel was a little off and they put the car back on the rack. They had some trouble the second time around and found a certain piece for my toe adjustment was damaged, most likely by the shop who used air tools before. Binh found a way to adjust and fix it and didn't give up until they did. My car drives perfectly straight now and the custom camber adjustments made it just right. Highly recommend. Great and fast service from Binh and Kuo. They are very knowledgeable and will go out of their way to make sure things are done right. Took my wife's Toyota Camry to the shop to get alignment. While there they found that the shocks were bad and leaking and there was a nail in a tire. They offered to replace the shocks at a reasonable price and explained everything in detail with me. They even made an appointment for me with America's Tire to repair my tire. Will be my go to shop for alignment and smog service from now on. read more

Simply the best place to align or Smog your car. I've had my Corvette Z06 aligned to a custom spec and they don't just get it close, they get everything bang on, down to the hundredth of a degree. As far as smogs go, they are Star Certified and get me in and out in 15 minutes...not much more one can ask for. I needed a STAR certified smog station And found them through the DMV website. I was in and out in 15 minutes, no appointment needed. Their fees are posted, so there is no second guessing.
