If you want a mixed drink they are pricey $16+, but you get a take-home souvenir cup which is probably why they cost so much. Food was good, their traditional baked oysters were delicious and I got their red fish tacos which were good, I would suggest ordering a side of the cilantro cream sauce on the side as they were a bit on the dry side though. My husband is gluten-free and he had quite a few different options to choose from which was nice. Our server was fantastic! He listed off all of their popular items for us, and we got our food quickly. Would definitely come back here again!

We got the appetizer sampler and everything was cold, the mozzarella stick were just blocks of cold cheese. My partner for the Caesar salad which was wilted and her chicken was dry and overcooked. I got the gumbo and all I could taste was raw flour. Our other party has the shrimp platter which was $26 dollars for plain store bought shrimp and fries. Might be nice if you get to sip on the patio and get some drinks because they have a nice view, but honestly I would say save yourself the 2 hour wait and the crazy parking situation. Not worth it.

On a recent visit to 30A, my wife and I and our friends wanted to enjoy a nice meal while watching…read morethe sun set on the nearby water. We looked up reviews and came across Bud & Alley's Restaurant as a likely way to do so. We were quite pleased with our experience once we found a table. When we arrived where you could make a reservation for a table downstairs, we were told the better views were upstairs with tables available for anyone who found them. We walked around for a while looking for a table opening up and though we didn't find any tables on the deck upstairs, we did find one with a gorgeous view well before sunset. The server being one of only a few there that night checked on us many times and was very helpful. We each ordered drinks. I got a Frozen Beach Bellini consisting of Lamarca prosecco with peach purée topped with an edible orchid. Then, when ordering dinner, my friend and I each ordered an eight ounce filet mignon consisting of grilled asparagus, Yukon mashed potatoes, and bordelaise sauce. My wife ordered a roasted salmon consisting of green lentils with pancetta and fennel, arugula, and dijon vinaigrette. We were quite delighted with everything we ate and drank! Bud & Alley's has been an award winning iconic restaurant in Seaside Florida since 1986, serving delicious farm- and fish-to-table food, offering exceptional service and making seaside memories for generations. Their restaurant hours are daily from 8 AM to 9:30 PM while the roof deck bar is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. They no longer have a happy hour though they have a limited menu Their website (https://www.budandalleys.com) has a lot of great information from the menu, reservation page, newsletter signup (for news, events, recipes and offers), events, reviews, beach cam, online ordering, gallery, press stories, and even links to other Bud and Alley restaurants. You can also sign up for Bud and Alley's Rewards at https://www.toasttab.com/s-w-d-r-grill-inc-dba-bud-alleys/rewardsSignup where you can earn earn 1 point for every $1.50 spent and unlock $5 off every 50 points. There may even be a birthday bonus. As a fun fact, the restaurant is actually named after a dog and cat and not people. You can see that in the logo. If you're in the area and want a good meal with good service and an excellent view, check it out!

We've been guests at Bud and Alley's a few years ago and enjoyed dinner but unfortunately after our…read moremeal last night, I don't think we would be back. We ordered the sourdough bread (best thing all night) and the smoked tuna dip. The smoked tuna dip was nice, nothing distinctive or unique. We ordered two salads for the table- the chefs daily special- heirloom tomato and peach with balsamic. It was super simple, delicious but the presentation lacked. It wasn't beautiful by any means. The arugula with lemon, olive oil and parm was underwhelming and unbalanced. A little white balsamic would have added natural sweetness and rounded out the flavors. Meals- My husband ordered the Gulf fish of the day and it came out cold. The creamed corn bottom was cold, the fish was cold... just cold. The server took it and brought I back... fish was warm and corn still cold. My 11 year old ordered the filet. Lacked seasoning and was a little chewy. I thought she was being dramatic but she was right. $59 for an underwhelming, underseasoned filet. I ordered the red snapper fish of the day with an orange, fennel slaw. I should have got a picture. The presentation was not attractive at all... just beige, not the vibrant, refreshing slaw I had imagined on top of the salmon. $50+ dish, underseasoned fish with a slaw that had canned mandarin oranges in it. My 17 year old had the crabcakes. They were ok. This is not a Truluck's style mostly crabcake. This is a breaded patty style crabcake. It was tasty. She may have had the best flavored meal. I would skip bud and alley's. So many other nice restaurants with better meal options.
