Great pizza and nachos snacks. There are plenty of open lanes. Easy parking on the front, sides, and rear of building.

Bizarre nostalgic throw-back to sugar laced time before corn syrup drenched mixes arrived…read more I met a friend and his granddaughter in the basement to play retro-arcade games for a ser price fo a few hours. Kid and teenager me would have loved it... the sarcastic 10 year old wanted board games to improve her experience. After considering- I agreed. I would add some chess and checker boards and a few other board games. Or a few Atari games... The epitome was the McDonald's $1 double cheeseburger sign. I asked to order it: they didn't have cheeseburgers, all things are more expensive and everything is not as healthy. I am not wishing for cocaine Coca-Cola or other "medicine" in Dr Pepper. $1.50 for a can of soda is a big jump for a corn syrup from the nickel advertising of a sugar sweet memory. The epitome of the place was playing shuffleboard with the 10 year old. I was trying to play with a sense of touch. She was playing with the idea of creating a highlight reel of knocking my pieces off. I beat her because the idea of the game escaped her. To look back at Asteroids was a shock. Realized that it was just black and white, 2 dimensional game with only a few buttons to control it. Overall I walked still a fan of the glossed over experience. I remember being a broke kid wanting to play unrealistic games to escape from reality. Now I wish for the sugar rush I used to have.

See picture Instead of addressing concerns professionally and attempting to resolve issues, the response came across as defensive, dismissive, and unprofessional. My husband and I visited this bowling alley and restaurant expecting a fun night out, but were met with dirty tables, poor customer service, and an atmosphere that made us feel unwelcome. The tables were filthy, and when my husband asked for assistance, he was handed a towel and expected to clean the table himself. There was no greeting, no friendliness, and no effort to make us feel like valued customers. As Black customers, the way we were treated raised concerns for us. While I can only speak about our experience, I would agree that the treatment of Black patrons is suspect based on what we experienced. The attitudes, body language, lack of hospitality, and overall interaction left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. The owner's response to reviews only reinforced those concerns. Rather than showing accountability or a willingness to improve, the response seemed more focused on dismissing criticism than addressing it. If I had read a review like this before visiting, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Customers deserve a clean environment, respectful service, and management that responds professionally to concerns. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and we will not be returning.

Huge, temperature controlled space with sand and adjustable volleyball nets. We brought spikeball as well and there is plenty of space for whatever. The sand was clean and easy to maneuver on. There are picnic tables and a speaker connected to Sirius radio. If we needed help it was easy to find a staff member inside. We didn't get food from the bar but it was an option.

Come in for a few games or stay the entire afternoon and evening. Bowling, drinks, hanging out, people watching. It's basically built for a night that has no real end time. If you haven't been in forever, consider this your reminder to go back.

Pin‑Up Bowl is a small bowling alley with only eight lanes, a big bar, and plenty of seating, and once our leader confirmed the credit card the whole thing kicked into gear with free drinks flowing right away, draft beers and a few cans and bottles and rail liquors, so I grabbed a beer while others went straight for rum and cokes or vodka and cranberry and the like. The food never stopped coming, trays of toasted ravioli and chicken tenders and pizza arriving again and again, and even with ten minutes left in the unlimited window the kitchen was still sending things out, which made the whole setup feel generous rather than timed or stingy. As for the bowling, it worked well enough for a place that has probably been running nonstop for years. Even though I haven't bowled in twenty years I still managed a respectable 125, which felt like a small personal victory. The machinery had the occasional hiccup, nothing dramatic, just the usual quirks you expect in an older alley, like the lane next to us needing to edit their scores a couple of times or a ball getting stuck in the back or a pin landing in the gutter that someone had to kick down manually, all of it adding to the lived‑in charm rather than taking away from the night. It's a neat spot on Delmar, easygoing and unpretentious, and our whole group had a great time, the kind of outing that works because the place doesn't try too hard and instead just lets people relax, bowl a little, eat a lot, and enjoy themselves. The layout was a bit confusing: some of us wanted to play games, so they used the kiosk to do games and food, but other than that, there wasn't a host anywhere until you walked through the building. It was odd. So, we walked to the game area and was told to go to the "restaurant" area host...which was easier said than done. Anyway, we figured out which person was the host and was seated. First off, our waiter was great: attentive, helpful, and funny. He was also very honest, which is refreshing for people like us. My fiance and I ordered the pretzels for an appetizer, and they were so hot and awesome. Like, I could've easily eaten just that for dinner! My fiance ordered the five cheese flatbread, and it was rather bland. It really wasn't very warm, either. I ordered the black bean burger with regular fries, and neither were warm at all. We had waited quite awhile, so it really wasn't going to work sending it back. We just ate it even faster since it was basically room temperature. I can say thw black bean burger had a great flavor, as did the BBQ sauce I ordered on the side. The fries, however, were bland and just didn't feel fully cooked, if that makes sense. Just very boring. We walked around the game room, and if we come back, it'll be for the games. The food was good, but I'm really not a huge fan of cold food when it should be warm. I'm pretty happy the pretzels were on point though!
