Ok, soooo we went to visit Columbia, like we do. Family of eight, Yaya and grandpa, son and daughter, and four children (young). We have been loyal customers since the pizza place opened, enjoy a great pizza and a cool beer. UNTIL TODAY, March 16. I know you are busy, I see it. We went after the "lunch" crowd and we were starving. We love to eat outside, the weather is beautiful. Unfortunately we were unable to, people hanging around, Nice day, Saturday. I GET IT. What I don't get is how awful the staff is to their customers. Now I know they are busy, prob understaffed...I GET IT, but really lady with the red hair? DO YOU NEED TO BE SO RUDE AND DISMISSIVE? We went inside to order, she said we have to order outside if we want food, so we headed back outside, only to be COMPLETELY ignored, you only have service if you are sitting at a table, I GET IT. SO we went back inside and the RED HEAD started up again, and we decided ok you are tooo busy to be nice to anyone but the bikers, so we will order to go and enjoy our food in the park. Then RED decided she was going to ignore us some more and stayed at the other end of the bar, completely ignoring us. Soooo we went to place our order with her as she seemed to be the one in charge, barking orders at everyone, and guess what? RUDE RUDE RUDE, now I know this is not the experience we have had in all our past visits, do you want someone who doesn't want to take an order in charge of your food? So we left. Mad, hungry and MAD. I know, understaffed, busy but have no time for RUDE. Remember we are here to support you, your business and the community. I know what it's like to "get slammed" at work, but there has got to be a better way. Maybe have one person take orders, and give a number? Maybe have a seating wait list so people can feel like they are being seen? I don't have all your answers, but I do know that being angry at your job says more about you than the job. Next time I will ride my Harley with the family stacked on top and maybe you will be nice? One star, for now. THANKS RED. read more

Best pizza in the sonora, jamestown, Columbia area. It's in the old bar across from the grocery store in Columbia but don't be intimidated. There is no A/C so it's not the coldest inside but they have fans. More important, they have tons of outside seating. The tables in the back are always shaded by the building and there is plenty of room for dogs or little ones to wander. Highly recommend the "hippy" if you like vegetarian pizza but you can't go wrong with any of their signatures. They also have a pizza of the day so either call or check the sign right inside the door. The last I was there it was a cheeseburger pizza with thousand island and ground beef. Downside is it can be a little slow and there isn't really a clear pickup area so you end up standing in the entrance feeling a little lost. read more

It's that time. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Good: I have two words for you... "Pickle Pizza". Yes, that's right. If you like pickles or your a pickle lover like me, this is the BEST pizza. Even for those who are in the fence about these lovely green logs. Don't let it scare you, at least try it, you'll be happy you did. I will order this every time I come here! The service is super friendly and they have a diverse draft and bottle selection. They have old fashion sasparilla along with the tried and true coke products. The atmosphere is great. Seating inside or outside. The Bad: If you're in a hurry, call ahead to order your food. The pizzas are made to order along with their staple pizzas so it will take some time. But you can still enjoy tater tots with beer cheese while you wait for 8 bucks. The Ugly: It's the Flies. I know they can't help it but I hate fighting flies for my Pickle Pizza. Next time I'll bring gloves. These are some big flies. I truly recommend visiting. It's just a great place to relax and spend some time with family and friends. This place looks like an old saloon. It has a rustic and historic charm and there was a wonderful waitress working the small restaurant. She was so friendly and welcoming when we walked in. We got seated and started to peruse the menu. She checked up on us very quickly, answered some questions we had, and then took our drink order. There was actually a decent beer selection. It was an early lunch so I opted for water but my husband did get a hazy IPA. He seemed to enjoy it. We ordered breadsticks with beer cheese fondue, a large salad, and a medium margherita pizza and we substituted black olives for the artichoke hearts. We are a family of four with two teenage boys so we aren't light eaters. This was plenty of food for us. The beer cheese fondue was mainly for the kids. They loved it! I tried a bite and it was good. I prefer a bit stronger beer flavor to the cheese but it was perfect for the kids. The large salad was fantastic. Three of us shared the salad. It was a pretty basic salad of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and croutons, but it was very tasty. The pizza was good. It came with slices of tomatoes and lots of black olives. The crust was the perfect amount of crispy on the outside and still had a little chew to it. My youngest son had kept the leftover beer cheese after the breadsticks were gone and used all the pizza crusts to clean out the beer cheese. Everyone in our party enjoyed the meal and said we would definitely return. read more

We had two personal pizza's, mozzarella bread sticks and salad! We had the boss hog and chicken BBQ pizza's! Crust and ingredients were fresh and crust was really good! This is a good place for lunch when in the area if you don't want to go in to the city of Sonora (which has lots more options for eateries). The pizza here looked really good and we regret that we only ordered sandwiches and salads as no on in our party was in the mood for pizza. That said, the caesar salad was quite good and the sandwiches were tasty although next time when in the area, I would go for the pizza.
