The food was delicious. We had the small chicken Caesar salads and they're really enough to share between two people. We had a couple different pizzas that the table shared, and they were just all equally delicious. Also, we recommend the garlic cheese bread . The service was outstanding!!! 5 stars

The ladies here always make sure you are taken care of. The pizza is consistently good and it is a local favorite spot. Alley was our server and she made sure we had plenty of refills on our drinks and were happy with our food. The place has a lovely western charm to it that really puts you at ease. One of our favorites is the hippie add salami and pesto drizzle over the top.

For a touristy town, this spot was awesome! First off they're a pizza joint... but the pizzas aren't traditional, so pretty much whatever you're craving I'd bet there's a pizza for that! There's an also quite a few sizes, from personal to large. We ordered the small, not the personal because we were really hungry and honestly we should have gotten the personal. The two pizzas we ordered were the Buffalo chicken pizza, and the reuben. Both of them were absolutely amazing and embarrassingly enough, we ate majority of both. We also ordered the sarsaparilla (it's famous there right?) and loved it. I highly recommend this place if you're in Columbia.

This is a great place to grab lunch if you are visiting Columbia. Food: 5/5 My family and I ordered the Ceasar salad and individual pizzas. All was delicious! The pizza had a soft but, crunchy crust and was cooked perfectly. Ambiance: 4.5/5 It had a cool ambiance that makes you feel like you are dining in an old western saloon. We sat inside, but they also have several outdoor tables. Service: 5/5 The customer service was great. Food came out quick and never ran out of our drinks. Price 5/5 The price was actually very reasonable. The salads were $6 each, the individual pizzas were $10-$11.25 depending on the pizza. I also ordered a beer which was $6. Overall this was a great place to come and further enhance the Columbia experience.

Wow! The food was amazing! I'm so glad we finally made it out there. The "Chuck" specialty pizza is their version of a combination pizza and it is amazing! We also split the BLT and I will say (as a BLT guy) this is hands down the best one I've ever had. It's an old time saloon inside and plenty of seating outside. This place is definitely worth the trip. BTW - if you order the tots appetizer, you better bring plenty of friends, it's a massive pile of tots!

PIZZA REVIEW: Well well well, FINALLY found fantastic pizza and real Sarsaparilla in the Mother Lode! The crust has a slightly airy pillowy goodness with a great crispy outer crust and tender inside. Loaded with toppings galore, these PERSONAL size pizzas at 8" were amazing. The Cheesy Bread is Cheesy pizza flat bread style but not the fluffy pizza style. We at a few pieces (1 each) of the Mediterranean Special tonight with artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, sweet red onions and cheese with a perfect amount of red sauce. The second pizza we tried was the Islander with a healthy topping of Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, Red Onion, Tomatoes and Green Onions. I make my own pizza in my wood fire oven and this was every bit as good. Total bill...$38 bucks!! Such a value for fantastic pizza. If you have not had pizza at the St. Charles Saloon in Columbia you are missing out. Salads, Sandwiches and Calzones are also on the menu. 5/5 stars for the pizza and value and nice beer selection. Service was great and if you want to hang out in an 1861 saloon, the vibe is here!

We stopped here after a recommendation from the gentleman working in the information station. It was the best recommendation. The pizza was amazing. Each pizza was different and full of flavor. Who knew pickle on pizza would be delicious. The size portions were filling. My little got a personal pepperoni and he finished all but 2 pieces. My oldest got a small and also had two pieces left. My husband and I shared a Large with 4 pieces left. This food was flavorful, filling, and the time we went it wasn't too busy. They do allow dogs to sit with you outside and even bring a bowl of water for them. Dont miss this place. This is a spot to drive out if the way for.

Amazing pizza and excellent & friendly service. I highly recommend this establishment. Good selection of beer on draft as well. Old timey ambiance with good vibes. When I'm in the area again I will definitely be coming back

Great food and service always fresh. Enjoy sitting outside taking the attractions. Wild cats that are friendly and that you pet them. Great service enjoy being here in the outside. The pizza is awesome. Definitely worth the drive.

Fast service- even on a crowded hot October day. Perfect meal- large salad. Specials included BLT was tasty - good food. Italian Sub was big and fresh, both came with chips. Happy, loud place. Long list of beers- some local. Heads of all kinds of animals on the wall. Hats, caps, funny lichen ware on the walls.

We were enjoying some tasty beer & good music over at the Sonora taproom and our beer tender recommended this place when we got hungry. Once we saw they had pickle pizza it was no competition for what we would eat for dinner. We are downright connoisseurs of pickle pizza at this point. It was decadent and delicious. I'm not sure how much I loved the caramelized onions as they added a lot more sweetness to the pizza than I prefer and it definitely had that "artisan" price tag to go with the fancy pizzas, but it was still a solid dinner and the order & pick up process was painless.

Does anyone know if they offer catering options for large groups at the park say for 50-60 people?

    Just call 209-288-2258. Very possible

I am a little frustrated at the menu. I am planning to come up from the valley for the upcoming Karaoke nights. Physically I can't eat breads, and must eat proteins. (I am a bariatric patient) I can eat a salad, justwish you had "add chicken" option?

We do offer an add chicken option. We also offer an Italian salad. We also can get creative and make some of our pizzas and sandwiches into salads or a bowl without bread.

However, it was sooooo slow. From the moment we were seated it probably took about 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. Then it took the same before our drinks were brought and they finally took our order. Nearly 1 hour after we sat some of our pizza finally came. The calzone took an extra 15 minutes. During the wait we did not get an update or any notice from the one or two staff members. When the food eventually came out it was still missing things. When we placed the order we asked for marinara and ranch. Neither came out with the pizza and we had to ask 4 times before it was finally brought to our table. Not to mention, we only asked for 1 marinara and they brought 2 that were half full and charged us for 2.... Some of the pizza options were fun and creative but the service and speed was a huge letdown. It is sad to see another place in Sonora go out of business but this place did basically everything wrong.

what a creative menu!…read more I was hungry for a philly cheese, and the "philly cheese please" hit the spot. Soft tender slices of ribeye, paired with grilled onions, grilled red and green bell peppers and a helping of black pepper was great. No sauce to make it messy and paired with garlic truffle fried was fantastic. Since these were shoe string cut, they were crispy and very crunchy. My SO ordred the fondue burger, and this was delicious as well. Warning the hot cheese will burn you, and hot cheese oil. But worth the burn as this smother cheese on a ciabatta bun was great. This was paired with sweet potato fries. These thick cut sweet potatoe fries are only sprinkled with sea salt, they retained the soft and moist texture just prefect. One order of a passion fruit lemonade, was a great balance of sweet and tart, and came in a very large glass. Pleanty of ice to keep it chill and slowly sip through out the meal. The meal a tad heavier than I thought, I finished my philly cheese, but not the fries (a first) The room is very high ceiling and all these great art works, posters and items on all the walls. Their happy hour is DAILY from 14:00-16:00. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our server was attentive and friendly. For our cocktails, my friend went with the Huckleberry lemonade, while I went with the pomegranate whiskey sour. She thoroughly enjoyed her cocktail, and so did I. At that price point, I didn't expect much, but it was a solid cocktail, although not as strong as what I'd normally get elsewhere. The clam chowder sounded really good, and I couldn't help myself, so I ordered it. My friend is not a fan of seafood, so the chowder was all for me. The crostini was very nicely toasted and I loved dipping it into the chowder. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the clam chowder. It was packed with a ton of clams, and was perfectly hearty without being heavy. We opted to share the fallen apple pizza, which was the perfect choice. The dough was pillowy and light, and the toppings delicious. I would have liked more apple slices, as it didn't seem like they were very prominent, and for the balsamic drizzle to be more uniform, but overall it was a solid pizza. I took leftover pizza home, and my husband enjoyed it for dinner. We heated it up in the air fryer and that was the way to go. While it was a little noisy in the restaurant, mainly due to a large group seated next to us, we still had a good experience, and the booth seating was comfy. I would love to bring my husband back to try more happy hour menu items next time we visit Sonora! The price point is seriously hard to beat, and Emberz is a solid spot for hanging out and having a good time.
