Let me start by saying that I have always heard wonderful things about this venue as this was a most anticipated visit. My classmate's band, The Michele Jons Band, was performing, as I've watch multiple YouTube videos of her performances, but never live. SHE WAS OFF CHAIN! The band though . . . FIYA! R/B, Funk, Soul . . . You name it! As for the establishment itself, I could not have ask for a better, intimate venue. Grown folks at its best. The house sound and lights were excellent. Parking was limited, therefore I recommend a Uber/Lyft. The food was great. I had the fish, collards and string beans as it was prepared to perfection. As with the other reviewers, the service was challenged, but it was still better than most (constructive criticism). Our host/server was very professional. Loved everything about this venue! The entertainment exceeded the price of admission!! The staff was gracious in every way with seating and food service. The food might have been a tad expensive but no more than any other Atlanta restaurant and I must say the flavor of the wings and the pound cake had my family wanting more. Omgosh, prior to the experience I just had, I thought this establishment walked on water from cleanliness, COVID compliance, professionalism, timeliness, attentiveness, good food,heartfelt service & awesome music. Then on April 2,2022 I began my quest to obtain 12 tickets for the April 22nd show because the band is "baddddd" and I've been bragging to family and friends about " St. James Live"!!! I went online and realized there was no way to purchase group tickets and I called , never an answer, so I emailed and 2 days later I received and email from L.Taylor advising me to just purchase online and that there was no group rate, no considerations for large parties,etc. on April 6, I received a call from the same person advising I could come up and purchase to avoid the $40+ dollars in fees outside of taxes that I was being asked to pay online. I was content with the compromise and communicated to her that I would make the sacrifice and be there on April 8th. I received a text back saying no , the fees are assessed regardless on all tickets purchased in advance, period. Disappointed but i couldn't let everyone down as we all want to celebrate my 50th with friends & family @St. James; so I come up on April 9th in between shows @8:23pm and was told by security that I would need to wait til 9:15pm to enter. Baffled, I re-engaged with L. Taylor and after several text exchanges I was met with just purchase online and the show is filling up... I only wish I had not communicated to others about the band, the show , sharing my 50th, or St James Live prior to this experience...... SMH in disappointment and shame read more

First and last time ever visiting. I drove 45 minutes to attend an event by a promoter at this establishment. The service was horrible. The food that I ordered was worse. My drinks were on spot. However, our server ignored us the entire night. Eventually, he brought out my ticket which included an 18% gratuity. I advised the server that his service was horrible and that I would not be paying any gratuity. He then called the manager. The manager advised that the gratuity goes to the kitchen staff and that it was policy. I then advised that I would not be paying it and he then involved a cop. I explained the situation to a very nice female cop and she didn't agree with the manager. The manager then called another cop and attempted to fight me. The manager said the policy was listed in the menu. I advised him to show me the menu and he did and it did advise that an 18% gratuity was included. However, I didn't order from this menu I ordered from a 1-page paper menu that made no mention. However, I paid the bill and would never come to St. James Live again nor will I ever recommend coming. Not once the manager asked about my issues with service nor did he attempt to rectify the situation. Honestly, an apology would have been sufficient. Please take your money and spend it elsewhere. 12/27 Update: On 12/18, I sent an email to the contact address listed on the website with my contact info. Nobody ever contacted me or replied. Several days later the owner replied to my review with a contact number. I called the number but it is the business's general voicemail. Simple menu, reasonably priced...awesome live band..i.e. smooth jazz, contemporary r&b, and old school Jams... great for a date night or sneaking (umm huh ) as it is in the kut if you know what I mean...very grown abd sexy..... lol but absolutely the best part of the experience is the wait staff and overall customer service of all of the staff as a whole. ... kudos to Joseph closely followed by the remainder of the staff... support this one guys as it us worth supporting. We thankfully had the pleasure of meeting the musicians at the end of the show for an impromptu photo op. I attended the Glenn Jones mini concert here. It was a nice venue. Parking can be a hassle as the spaces fill up quickly. I ordered lemon pepper wings and fries... I didn't think anyone can mess up wings but... I was wrong. The chicken needed to have been seasoned and marinated... I was so disappointed... Oh well! The seats were $40 but food was not included... I'm here now. Won't be back. Don't have general admission if you can't seat everyone with their party. I was with a party of 5, they decided to split us between 3, two seater high tops. I moved my chair to be with my party... literally 4 feet (not 6) away from the table they wanted me at, and "because of COVID" I was supposed to move my chair back to the original table to sit with someone I didn't know...away from my friends. They tried to justify it, but why would I want to sit with someone I don't know in the middle of a pandemic?! (I understand none of us should really be out, but I'm fully vaccinated ). Makes no sense. Also, I was one of the first to arrive and they still didn't do us any favors, instantly sat us up by the TV. We visited this past Friday evening for a. Early bday outting for my husband. I absolutely love love music and have been seeing this place on social media for the last couple years so wanted to try it out. The venu is extremely nice and the band(grits and jelly butter) amazing. The food was mediocre which was disappointing, especially for the price. We ordered crab cakes and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Crabcrakes were really soft and shrimp cocktail was really salty somehow. My husband had two desserts instead of dinner because he said he didn't trust a meal based on the appetizers. He had the pound cake (a little dry but overall good he said) and peach cobbler which he said was really good. I had the Alfredo and broccoli pasta and added lamb to it. The lamb wasn't done and I promise the pasta was one of those you get in those dollar packages..at the store. I had a few drinks which were really good. We didn't get a receipt and the waitress lied about tip not being included.. and I felt rushed with paying. Just be honest with your patrons. Overall just an ok experience. read more

Are you looking for a night out on the town that will not break the bank?? If so, this is EXACTLY where you should be!! i must admit that I was a little leery of what my experience would be based upon the price I paid for the tickets. The company is running a special all summer long that is buy one ticket get one free. I purchased two tickets for a grand total of $35.00. I was shocked when there were no additional fees associated with the purchase. Following the purchase of the tickets, I was slightly confused about what the next step was. On Friday I called the establishment for additional information. Although there was no one available to talk to, the recording provided me with the information I needed. The recording indicated that the doors open at 8:00pm on Saturday, the show starts at 9:00pm, FREE Buffett for everyone from 8-9pm and arrive early for the best seats!! When Saturday arrived, my plan was to be there at exactly 8:00pm however, my date decided against this plan. We did not arrive until about 8:25-8:30pm. When entering the establishment there is a cashier immediately to the right. She asked for the name on the reservation and handed me a green square piece of paper that said 2 top. I handed this paper to the host who seated us in the back row between two other couples. Once seated, I must admit- it was a little tight. I was arm to arm with the person to my right and with my date. The space is small and they pack a lot of people in there. This may have been bearable, but on top of having us in their like sardines, it felt like there was only a screen door between us and hell!! Trust, if I am saying it was hot-- it was hot!! This is one area they can improve on. Since we were already a little late, we decided to see if there was still food available on the Buffett. It was located directly behind us and consisted of some canned green beans, some rice and baked chicken. Was this meal memorable, absolutely NOT, but for the price, you get no complaints out of me! When we arrived back to our seats, the wait staff immediately took our drink order. I wanted to start with water and she advised that the only water they offer is bottled and costs $3.00!! Ok, I was starting to understand how they were making money! I also ordered a Moscow Mule and my date ordered a Corona. The service all night was on point. A huge shout out goes to Jamila. She was attentive, yet not over bearing. She was friendly and provide prompt service. I hope to sit in her area during my next visit. An example of her stellar service: we noted that there were tables upstairs that no one was sitting in. We asked her if it was possible for us to sit up there. She advised that she would check, and arrived back in less than n 5 minutes and told us we could move and she would continue to provide us with service! She had no problem coming up and down the stairs- I really appreciate her for that!! Once we moved, I must admit, we were able to enjoy the night to the fullest extent. It was still rather warm, but at least we were not rubbing skin with strangers as we were when seated downstairs. Throughout the night, two additional couples opted to join us upstairs, Even with the additional people, it was no where near as crowded as our original seat. We did order the sangrias and another corona while seated upstairs. In my opinion, the drinks taste ok, but it is clear that they are not generous with the alcohol content in the drinks Additionally, they fill the cups with ice. Although the prices are about average, you are not really getting your money's worth. Regarding the actual music, We enjoyed the sounds of Tony Exum Jr. Neither myself or my date had ever heard his music prior to this night. However, we both agree that the man is talented. I will admit that the acoustics in this place are not the best. Whenever some one was talking, I could not understand one word they were saying. I would recommend that they invest in a better sound system. The performance did not start on time, however, he did perform until about 11:30 with a 30 min intermission. During the intermission they played songs like Cupid Shuffle and The Wobble, which afforded us the opportunity to dance a little!! To sum everything up- the flyer for this place says "the Best Kept Secret", and I must agree that it lives up to that slogan. This lpace will be perfect when they ensure that the place is properly cooled and update the sound system!! Even in spite of the shortcomings, I will be back!! You can't beat live entertainment and food for two for under $40!!! Please note that I spent an additional $50 bucks on drinks-- so still under $100 for a night out!! We came across this venue on a whim because it was the closest to us at the time with live music. Apparently doors open at 7pm on Fridays and the show starts at 9pm. Well, we didn't arrive until 10:30 and there was one table left, which was a table top along the back row, but it was actually a spectacular seat because we had a dead center view of the stage, and it was great for people watching. We didn't miss a thing. The venue itself is located in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of open (free) parking. We paid $20 each for our high top table with 2 seats. So it's not really a door fee that you pay, rather whatever the fee is on the table that you reserve/select. I'm so glad that we had a table top because the regular tables are seated so close together and honestly, with everyone up dancing and shaking their (insert explicit content here) in such a confined area, your man will have a lot more (up close) entertainment than he bargained for and there's nothing you can do about it. Lol. The food...can't really call it. The menu is rather small, which is a good thing. I saw fish, lamb chops, salads, wings and things of that nature BUT they were out of chicken. They were also out of mac n cheese. They were out of a lot of things so we settled with an appetizer plate and a side of fries, along with our drinks. PLEASE NOTE: They add gratuity into every ticket no matter how small the party. The band performing (can't recall, but there were 4 women singing)...they were amazing BUT around 11:30/12am before they ended their set they actually did an entire praise and worship song. Don't get me wrong, I love God but I can't sing a worship song at a club after drinking Long Islands. I mean, most of us were inebriated to some degree. I was so confused...and bewildered because the crowd was waving their hands and singing along...and I could have just fallen out. I get it...I love God too but I'd like to say hi to him before the set begins and my drinks are served. The set is over by 12 and 80% of the crowd clears out. If you are looking for entertainment which includes various bands and vocalist over a dining experience this just might be your place. If you are not shy, you may be asked to come to the front near the stage to dance or share a little information about yourself if you are celebrating an anniversary or birthday. This location from the outside does not look as big as it is on the inside. All tables are facing the stage, both high top tables and cocktail style tables. The earlier you get there the better choices you have as far as seating. The food is decent. I will say that I did enjoy the Caesar salad. Was in town, hanging out for an extended weekend in December '17, when I saw one of my favorite new jazz artists was performing. Booked my ticket online and ventured out. The location is about 20-30 minutes from downtown but, wasn't much trouble getting there (Lyft). Had VIP seating but didn't feel much like a VIP when it came to the service I received. The performance had not begun when I arrived but, it took 10 -15 minutes before someone arrived to take my drink order. Service was spotty throughout the night and, the 15 minutes it took for the waitress to bring back my check after giving my credit card to her caused me to miss my Lyft driver heading back downtown. Seems like a good establishment, in a good location (once you get there), with good potential but, very much understaffed. Hard to have sustained VIP seating when you treat those people just like everyone else? Food was ok but the performance made the night a really good experience. The in-between entertainment was relatively well-thoughtout except initially, seemed as if he had a sermonette prepared. He was entertaining and getting everyone involved was lots of fun. Seemed like a good and mature crowd. Would probably come back just not spend the same money to sit upfront because, most of the seats on the lower-level offer a great view and the service in the back can't be much different than what I received in the "VIP?" read more

Very disappointed!! I have a friend visiting from California and told her about this place. Was very excited to spend a jazz filled evening. I had a party of three and could not understand why the system would not allow me to purchase three tickets as it kept giving me four. I contacted St. James via email and stated the above. The response I received was ' tables are sold as a whole. a 4-person table will accommodate 3 people'. Well duh!!! So, in order for an odd number of people to see a show you have to pay for an invisible friend. In no way is this acceptable!! If I would have purchased the fourth ticket, St. James would have gotten free money. I responded to the email with 'so I'm suppose to pay for a seat that will not be occupied?' I didn't receive a response. I really enjoy the club however, this has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I really don't think I'll visit again. read more

I visited this venue for the first time on Saturday, April 2, 2022. They had a band playing tribute to Chaka Khan and they were good. I tried the wings and my friend got the fish tacos. Both dishes were tasty and the drinks we ordered were also good. The server was on point and very attentive. Overall, this place is really nice and I can tell they put on great shows. However, I have to deduct stars because the one absolutely disappointing drawback to this venue is the location and parking situation. It is in a plaza with other businesses and the parking lot is tiny. There is not enough parking for this place to be in this plaza. It's located basically off a residential road off Camp Creek Pkwy. There are townhomes located in the back of the plaza so you can't park there without risk of getting a ticket or your car towed. Across from the plaza on Butner Rd is a large field possibly part of the horse farm. They were charging to park in the field which has grass, mud, ant hills and gravel. Now, the venue is more upscale and who wants to trudge through an unpaved field in their nice shoes and clothes? Then having to cross the busy road and hope you don't become road kill from all the cars driving in both directions. This is not a safe solution (no crosswalk) for parking, you are basically jay walking and if you get hit by a car it is no fault of the driver of the vehicle. I live all the way on the Northside of town so taking an Uber or Lyft is not feasible. This place really needs to be in a better location with more parking options. Aside from the dismal parking situation, it is a nice venue. On the fence if I will return here, will need to have someone chauffeur me (for free) to this place if I do come back, LOL! read more

Great intimate venue to listen to local and nationally known artist.... The tables for 2 are very small. So small it's difficult to have a plate of food and a drink on them at the same time. Other than that the place is great. I've been there twice and enjoyed myself both times. I prefer venues like this for concerts. I go here all the time for Saturday or Sunday Live Jazz. I hadn't read the dress code in years, so I had to take my baseball cap back to the car. I usually sit back near the DJ Booth but decided to try a new spot to the left of the stage. Huge Fail. We were directly behind the keyboard player. He blocked the view of every band member so I missed all the amazing solos. His music stand blocked the artist, so all I could see was her head until she walked off stage. I decided to order French Fries. Each and every fry in the basket was literally blanketed in salt. As soon as you touch them, you felt salt first. Please tell the waiter "No Salt" if you order fries. Water is not complimentary here. It's $3.00 a bottle, so your bill will tally up rather quickly. We had 2 peach cobblers (very small portions), 2 ice creams, 2 bottled bottles of water, green beans, and French Fries. After taxes, and gratuity, it came to $48.00 and of course, a tip is still recommended. Thank goodness, we don't drink alcohol. We are going back tonight, but we are going to eat at home and order 2 bottled water. I'm not cheap, but I'm not spending $200 on 2 nights. The tickets on average are about $25 depending on where you sit. It's a very nice establishment with plenty of room. It can get a little tight in certain places, but overall, nice. We like sitting in the very back with the counter height table and chairs, just to ensure we have plenty of room to move around and can get to the restroom with ease. Jazmin Ghent did an awesome job, but she took a 5-minute break which turned into 30 minutes. The DJ did a good job making people forget the time-lapse. Attended sold out event last night and I have to tell you although the concert was phenomenal,let me explain why I will never return to your establishment. Your prices are not competitive You don't afford your paying customers to enjoy wifi, you're paying for it anyway, why have a locked site I had the displeasure of meeting your owner and it's clear she is all about her and not about her customers You immediately took advantage of the crowd by walking around passing out cards for people to sign up. This is an electronic age and no one is doing that. If you weren't so darn cheap and allowed people to access The wifi, you could have handled that much differently. My wife and I love jazz and this is the perfect spot for great music and delicious food. But with some friends to the Gospel brunch on Sunday and it was absolutely awesome. I stopped in with a few close friends of mine last weekend to hear some jazz and have a few drinks. I've been hearing good things about them and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. First off the the atmosphere as well as the club itself was very nice. The band that was playing did a really wonderful job. The place seemed organized and the drinks we're very good. The one thing that majorly bothered me which I ALWAYS find common in clubs owned and managed by AA is that we are always charged so much more for less. For example we ordered a variety appetizer for $14 which had 2 shrimp, 2 overdone wings and a tiny spring roll cut in half. Then we ordered the Fish tacos for like $13 for 2. Any other place serves 3 for that price. Had there not been a cover charge for the band I would have understood charging a little extra for the food. But that's not the case, the food here in my opinion is overpriced and not worth it. You'd do better eating somewhere else and just go and enjoy the drinks and music.. read more

As much as I am an advocate for supporting black owned businesses it often disappoints me when the idea of full quality service falls short. It's one thing to mandate 18% gratuity it's another thing when the service falls well below that. To list a few things the waiter wasn't attentive at all, didn't follow through on making sure we received what was ordered. Then finally the greatest insult to finally bring the order almost 30 minutes later with an excuse as to why, then the audacity to ask if it was ok. We must do better. Paid for two tickets to see my favorite band on 8/21/21. Show time on the tickets said 7:30 pm so I arrived at 7:05 thinking I was early so I could be seated at my table. When I arrived, the band was already on stage performing and by 8:00 they were finished. I asked to speak to the manager and proceeded to tell him that I did not see the whole show due to them starting earlier than the 7:30 pm start time on the tickets. He asked to see my ticket, which I showed him, and he says, "They were on early?" Hello!!!! You are the manager!!!! You were there! By this time other customers came to my table and told him that they too arrived for the 7:30pm show ( a man and his wife got there at 6:45 and two ladies got there at 7pm) and the band was already playing. His response, " What do you want me to do?". Me: "Allow us to stay for the next show due to them playing earlier than 7:30 pm and us missing half of the show". To which he replied, "That is not going to happen. We have another show and we are sold out" and he walked away from us. We were appalled at his behavior and attitude. After I paid $80 for my tickets and another $35 for food and a glass of wine and you have the nerve to be rude and not even try to accommodate your customers!!! It was not our fault that the tickets we purchased from your very own website had a later show time and that the band played earlier than the time on your tickets. I patronize your establishment regularly just to see my favorite band perform! To have the manager be rude and not even offer to be more customer friendly, tells me that I wilI no longer need to spend my money in this establishment and will wait for the band to play somewhere else. The other customers felt the same way and we all walked away saying that we were going to tell all of our friends, family and coworkers, in and off of social media about the way we were treated. I refuse to spend my money in a place that does not honor their own tickets and make sure that their bands start at the time on the tickets. I decided to try this place out on a Friday night. I paid $20 to get in and sat at the bar. Two gentlemen were leaving as I was coming in and afterwards no one else came to the bar the entire night, as I believe this is more of a date spot. It was a bit too dark for me, but I guess that's to create a romantic atmosphere. Definitely don't go by yourself. The band sounded great and the Margaritas were good. I didn't try the food, as a menu was never offered other than the drink menu so I wasn't sure if you could sit at the bar or had to get a table to eat. I can imagine with a date you could easily spend $100 or more just to get in and ordering a couple of drinks. Wish the bar staff was a bit more friendlier, especially since I was the only one sitting at the bar leaving a tip...zero conversation but they stood around talking amongst each other. read more

My mom and I and about 15 of our friends came here to listen to live Jazz, thank God, no jazz was played, I don't like Jazz on a Friday night. The music was more R & B, smooth grooves. this is the perfect date night spot. The PR Experience performed and they were fantastic. They had 2 live singers, one male, he's a short, handsome African American and reminded me of Larenz Tate's character in the movie Girl's Trip and one female, very pretty, African American. Visited for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. Tickets were $40 each for hubby and me to see jazz bassist Julian Vaughan. We arrived late and were told to check in with the hostess, who was nowhere to be found. Waited for her about 5 mins. Anyway, some other employee who was summoned checked our tickets and showed us to our seats(and literally, that was it...no apology for the wait or pleasantries). Next, our waitress who was much nicer took our orders: 2 house mixed drinks and 2 orders of wings (5 pieces) was about $48. Food was decent but way overpriced, especially in a place where you had to pay to gain entry. Anyway, I was tolerating the situation when I asked for water. Uh oh...that was be $3.00 for a bottle of water. I lost my cool...why are you charging for water?!?!? I have been to 5 stars restaurants that didn't charge for water. I finally asked the waitress what I had suspected: was this establishment black-owned? She replied yes and gave me a smirk. Yes, I am black so I get to critique my brethren's businesses and I will still patronize but pray for us to do better... The venue really is nice aesthetically. Good views of the stage and wonderful sound system. Mr. Vaughan had a nice show though it seemed short...maybe because we were late. Bottom line: nice venue in South Fulton County though isolated from any other business of this nature; food and alcohol were way overpriced; nice place for the over 40 crowd to enjoy. Visit date was 9-3-22: My husband and I had a blast! We enjoyed the tribute singer Tabitha and her crew performed. It really took us back. The atmosphere was very laid back. The place is beautiful and music on point, but the SERVICE is The Worst!!! We ordered lamb and was not given silverware, and after 5 minutes we finally got a fork n butterknife which would not cut the meat. I asked for the Manager who came by and snatched my plate NEVER asking did I want anything else or what was the problem. When I stopped her to ask why she just SNATCHED the plate away, I was told because my waitress told her I didn't want it and she was too busy tonight. Whet????? Are you a Manager??? Are you serious??? For the next 1 1/2 of show, we are totally ignored by the waitress. Mind you she has to walk by us ALLLLL night because of our seats close to kitchen. Doesn't come back with our bill for water and drink we ordered prior to meal mixup. So after show is over I search for the owner and share my story who says send her an email. Sort st. James. Your bar is on point but your kitchen and front door are aweful. Even if you lease the place out there should be ground rules. Heck you never see those complaints for smaller venues who use their own employees. For your reputations sake! You are a gem. Do not keep failure where you can shine bright like a diamond. I went to this spot on a Wednesday, mid December because I saw that they had Happy Hour plus I was nearby a family member's house - so why not try it out? Upon my walking inside, there was no greeter nor did any of the staff hovering around talking come over to me to say "welcome". I sat myself at the bar and got a "hello" from the Bartender. After about 2 minutes she then asked me "can I get ya something?" although she had not placed a menu before me nor mentioned anything about Happy Hour. I looked at the menu and absolutely nothing seemed to stand out. No food pictures or attractiveness about the variety of overpriced choices. I ended up ordering the Chips n Salsa. Once they came out I ate like 4 chips and finally had to send it all back to the kitchen and have the food removed from my check. The blue tortilla seemed stale and the salsa was terrible and seemed watery. By the way they are using the wrong kind of tortilla chips anyway. Those had no flavor, not even a salty taste. I paid for my drink and left because obviously their Happy Hour had not been marketed strong enough to have at least 5 other folks in there at 6pm. Geesh! Nobody was there to listen to the blaring R&B music. They will have to toughen up the marketing for this hidden spot to work. But with solid entertainers, I feel they will thrive. This was a last minute reservation to take some friends out for their birthdays. St. James Live has one of the best set ups to provide a 5 Star experience. I've been here a few times hoping that it would catch up to it's potential. Atmosphere, drinks, food and music are usually good. However, I have a couple of recommendations: 1. Invest in an automated ordering system (handheld devices for wait staff to use at table) 2. Hire more bartenders and wait staff - (no reason for drinks to take 20 mins) 3. Flatware - why isn't it the first thing you hand customers who order food? (Wait staff can have a couple in their apron) Delivering food and waiting more than 5 mins for flatware is unacceptable! 4. Offer tap water ($3.00 for a bottle of 12 oz water better be Perrier! Amazon can deliver 24/16 oz bottles for $13.49) 5. Appetizers were delicious, but can I get at least 2 whole spring rolls and 4 wings? St. James, if you step it up, you not only would be packed every time your doors open, you would set a standard in your community and industry for how to do this thing right! I am cheering for you! This was my first visit to Saint James Live, I had heard so many wonderful things about this lounge, so I decided to give it a shot. I took my girlfriend out on a date and I really didnt know what to expect, I mean I heard good things but you know how that goes...first things first, there is ample parking, a spacious parking lot. When we walked in the lounge, I was amazed at the size of it...From the outside the lounge does not look as big as it is on the inside. The stage, at set up so that no matter where you sit in the lounge you have a good view of the band that is playing... I dont know if it was the particular band that was playing l, but the music was a bit loud for my taste, I could barely hear myself let along my date..the good thing was I had to lean in real close to hear what she was saying and she smelled devine... anyway, back on task.. the food and service were pretty good...the seating is very close unless you're in the VIP area.. all and all I highly recommend everyone to visit a least once and enjoy some good music, food and drinks!! read more

"It's obvious that our venue protocol is not for everyone" that statement in itself is very disgusting. I would hope you would want to have an establishment welcoming to everyone. This hateful and hurtful culture was very obvious by the statements made by management to the many people who were not selected to enter based on "their dress code" what was also obvious was the undertone of blatant discrimination towards those who were turned away who mostly if not all are LGBTQ. We observed people allowed to enter with sneakers, gym shoes, shorts, torn and ripped jeans, halter tops but was allowed to enter because they were "female" or because it was "designer tennis shoes" your dress code says "you want your guest to be comfortable... gentlemen jackets preferred" no where in the hidden dress code on your website does it say the things we were told were not acceptable at the door. I would suggest you revise your dress code and make sure it is visible when purchasing tickets for everyone to see on your website. read more

GREAT venue!!! TERRIBLE service! I came on a night when Grits & Jelly Butter were performing. This band has a good following in Atlanta so they should've been prepared with enough staff, they were not. We got there at 8, we didn't eat until 9:30. Didn't get our checks until 11:45. We started asking for checks at 11. The customer service liaison brought them and said our waitress would collect them, she never did. He came back with an attitude asking us what was wrong and ended up cashing us out instead of our waitress. The waitress had a large section of tables. That should've never happened. read more

Music was amazing, the venue was awesome but the food was way too expensive for what we got. We ordered the St James sampler and literally go two wings fried and that was bland along with 2 pieces of shrimp and lastly 1 veggie roll cut in half so it looks like 2. Smh I'm so pissed, then they have the nerve to add gratuity of a little over 8 dollars and the service was weak. If I decide to come back best believe I'll have dinner first.
